Background before Joining the Military: Maddie was born into a very strict, religious family. They have a long tradition of joining the military, and Maddie was no exception, being trained from an early age. She hated the suffocating pressure of her family, and resented them for forcing her to do anything, even if she enjoyed it.
Personality: Maddie is a very bubbly, cheerful person. She's laid back but can be serious when she needs to be, and enjoys helping people. She hates flying in formation, feeling that it makes her vulnerable and inflexible in combat. She's very protective, of both her friends and her treasured belongings (i.e. her gun and Striker).

Background after Joining the Military: She joined the Karlsland Air Force early, and trained for several years before ever seeing combat. She hated the strictness there too, but enjoyed fighting the Neuroi, so she left the Air Force for the more lax and fun 510th JFW the first chance she got.
As was expected, Maddie took Sora's departure badly and closed herself up in her room for a while, eventually recovering thanks to Matthias, Alina, Mai, and Celece's help. Miles' death nearly sent her back into her depression, but she coped by training hard with Celece, who grew to see Maddison like a little sister and taught her to use Sora's sword as well. She is as determined as Mai to bring Sora back, and plans to confront him herself with her newfound skills if necessary.

Witch Ability/Power: Sehkraft, an ability that lets her see any wavelength of light. Depending on what the distance of the wavelength from visible light is, it uses varying amounts of magic. To conserve magic, her gun has a night vision scope on it as well. When she is using this ability her eyes turn gold and bird-like.
