Personality: Vanya comes across to many people as apathetic because of the fact that she is very lazy and sarcastic. If she doesn’t see any benefit for her to be in a situation she will try to get out of it by either walking away or refusing to attend it in the first place. Even though she seems uncaring from afar, she is very loyal to her friends and the people whom she’s closet to.
Bio: Vanya was born and raised in a small elven tribe by both her parents. The tribe never stayed very long in one place and traveled from place to place like nomads. Her mother and father loved to be outside and sit around a fire at night looking at the stars. They told her stories of the constellations and how they came to be, convincing her to turn to them if she even felt lost or alone.
Although her parents were very loving and trusted her completely, they did not trust many other people and as a result trained her to be skilled with a bow and arrow and in hand-to-hand combat as a defensive measure. She took right away to shooting but never really took to hand-to-hand combat like her parents had hoped.
Once she reached 16, her father felt it was time she got married and started a family of her own. She however didn’t think that was for her, resulting in long drawn out arguments between the two of them. A year passed of constant bickering and finally Vanya had had enough. Out of anger and a way of escape, she decided she would attend Rosentale Academy and pave her own way in the world free of her parents oppression.
Skills and Abilities: Vanya is very good at archery like many elves and handles a bow and arrow easily. She also is very good with plants and wildlife but doesn’t typically show it.

Vanya walked through the halls of this new building she would be calling her home. This place was very different than where she grew up, no real structures but more of pitched tents always outside during the daylight hours and well into the night. Maybe it was time she took on a change of scenery.
She continued walking towards her class through the halls of the school eyeing everyone who passed her, almost examining them. They all seemed to know where they were going with certainty that she didn’t feel, but forced the appearance regardless. ‘Now what room was this again...?’ She checked her schedule and scanned the labels by the doors. ‘Ah here it is. Cooking.’ She squinted taking in the room she was standing outside of, no longer wanting to go in. ‘I almost guarantee they’ll make me cook something. I don’t feel like cooking today. Besides, I’m so fantastic at it all the other students will feel nothing but inferiority at my amazing skills. They’ll be jumping out the windows screaming ‘OH THE SHAME’.’ She sighed and pushed open the door to face the class with a blank stare hoping not to show the jittery excitement of a new beginning.
