"ACHOO!"Otto sniffled and ambled along through the training field. He was fighting off a cold, literally, by training with his weapon. That return trip to the antarctic had not done him any favours. Taking a long, agonizing swim in the freezing waters with no shoes also did not help. However, sitting in bed was boring as Hell. The blonde was getting tired of fighting by himself tough. He needed a training partner. He'd been meaning to give back the hefty comic book to Bix anyway, so he sent the older trainee a text. Text From Otto: I have your book. It was pretty nerdy. Not half bad though. Come to the training field and fight for it.

Did that mean he didn't get it if he lost?
Bix panicked.
He showed up at the training field looking pretty wary. He'd not sparred with Otto before but his recent fights had been against all girls and he'd lost pretty miserably.
"Hey man.." Bix would try the nice approach now. He and Otto had seemed to reach some sort of uneasy truce for the time being.

Otto sat by himself a while until Bix showed up, sniffling and getting to his feet. "Yo. Up for a round?" He asked, already summoning Tenya in all her 6 foot glory.
Was he holding the book hostage? Probably not, but the fun was in the idea that he was.

"Okay.." Bix blinked at Otto's giant boomerang. "You got the goods?" It was like some shady drug deal.
With a flash, Mina's feathered glory appeared in his hand. "Oh jesus thank god. We can stay far away.." Bix bobbed on his toes a minute, a mini warm up.
"Been sparring all these girls and they just come up in my face and wail on me!"

"Yeap. Back in... my room." He said with a haughty smirk. "Candace moved out, so I got her old room." It sure beat sleeping in Gale's old bed. Blech.
Otto had to agree. Long distance was more his specialty too. He at least had the option of mid range too, but tossing a giant boomerang was way more badass than bludgeoning with one. On that note, he took a skiping run backward for a few feet before spinning once around and hurling the weapon in Bix's direction.
The magic of having a living weapon was that it mystically found it's way back to him no matter the wind patterns.

"Are you inviting me ove-AH!" He was going to do some teasy-gay thing but the boomerang clipped him in the shoulder and sent him spinning a bit. It also prevented him form getting off a shot.
"JEEZ. Thats way bigger up close.." He then paused. "THATS WHAT SHE SAID.. OHHHH."

Charge: 2/3 He was lucky he cut him off at the first joke. The second rung out loud and clear. The short blonde wasn't completely against a good dirty joke. But that?  Yeah. he was hitting him again. Otto caught Tenya without even having to break his eye contact with Bix, winding back and hurling it forward again.

"What?" he looked innocent. He looked like he thought he was funny. "No wonder you and Gale hate eachother. You both give me the same looks..." He took this hit more gracefully and managed to recover, sticking Otto with a quick couple of arrows, the red energy sticking into the blonde cleanly. Best part of magical bow? MAGICAL ARROWS.  HP: 39/50 Damage: 3 Charge: 1/3

Guh. He was comparing him to gale of all people! Otto narrowed his eyes further, sniffling defiantly at the thought. He was nothing like that stuck up b*****d!
The small blonde wasn't able to dodge or block the arrows that came his way, his eyes otherwise focused on his weapon coming back to him. A small hiss escaped him from the hit. Without skipping a beat, he ignored the now fading arrows and reeled his arm back, tossing Tenya into the air at his opponent.

"Got a cold? Allergies?" Yes Bix would talk even if Otto didn't. "I have bad allergies but the island is pretty weird. Not as bad here."
He was getting used to the way the boomerang moved and now ran sideways. It clipped his legs but he was quick to reply with a larger volley of arrows into Otto's arms. If he took those out first the boomerang was useless!

"Cold." He answered with a grumble, trying to hide a cough by coughing with his mouth closed. "Might be cause the island has more voodoo than it does pollen." He theorized, winding back for another attack. Only this time he got an arm full of arrows.
He hissed and dropped his arm, babying it for a moment and throwing Tenya using only his right arm.

"How much weird stuff did you see before you came here?" Bix was actually curious, once Otto mentioned voodoo. "Some people had it pretty bad and others didn't have much. Just curious..."
Otto heaved pretty well with his right arm. The boomerang his Bix's chest and knocked him backwards but he was getting used to the blunt hits, learning to bounce back from them. He retaliated by filling Otto's new throwing arm with even more arrows.
Mina moaned in his mind, filling with FEAR and begging for release.

Otto seemed taken aback at first by his question, visibly uncomfortable with recollecting it at all. "Pretty bad.." He murmured with a sniffle, rubbing his nose on his sleeve. He'd leave it at that. No one but Eva knew he was afraid of the dark because of what he'd seen.
He hissed again, groaning at the throbbing pain now coming from his right arm. He hoped this wouldn't hinder his attack.
Tenya glowed bright red, her runes humming with power. Ignoring the pain, he reeled back and hurled the charged weapon toward Bix, a giant shockwave followed.

"Man that sucks.." Bix frowned and sagged, hoping maybe to have found someone who wasn't some kinda crazy jaded about it. Otto's quick answer gave him the vibe that asking more wouldn't be an option.
Of course then the shockwave of the weapon rolled over him and sent him on his back hard. He coughed, feeling his shield weaken. From his back Bix aimed over Otto's head and let loose a single shot. It exploded into a flash of light, blinding a moment, before volley of red needles came down on Otto like rain.

Sucks was an understatement, and Otto was glad Bix didn't pry. If there was one thing Otto hated to do, it was share his feelings. He'd probably never talk about it unless under the influence of something.
The small blonde looked up as an arrow took to the skies. Did he miss? What a terrible sho----OW!!
Otto grunted and shielded his eyes, the flash of lighting blinding him temporarily. Before he knew it a volley of arrows rained down, taking a good chuck of his fear shield away. He shuddered after it ended, shakily gripping his weapon.
He took a step back and hurled Tenya, however, his shaky attempt did not connect.
