Once away from that whole..mess of that convention, Kat steered Wilson towards the dorms first. She vowed that she would clean herself up before she did anything else, and that was exactly what she was going to do. "Sorry, gotta make one stop before we get you to the infirmary." Lucky for Wilson, if he needed to clean up as well, he was free too. Though, there wasn't much he would be able to do about his clothes. Its not like she had boys clothes laying about.
"Do you want us to stop by your dorm to get a change of clothes?" this was without knowing that his room was, in fact, flooded. Well, the worst that could happen, was that she may have to make a run to where ever he was stopping at, and pick up his clothes for him. Or something.

Wilson shook his head. “No, no, it’s fine!” He rubbed one of his arms as they made their way over to Kat’s room. “I’m not that badly injured anyways. I mean, how much damage can a crowd of convention goers do?” Physical damage? Not too much. Mental damage? Perhaps that was a different story.
Another shake of his head. “That’s alright. My dorm is mostly cleared out anyways, since it got flooded with water. I’m staying at Gale’s house with Eva.” While he couldn’t change into new clothes, he could at least take off the coat and gloves. Sighing, he rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt and loosened the collar. One hand was in his pants’ pockets while the other was loosening the tie. “I think that’s going to be the first and last time I’m going to wear this costume.” What a shame. He should have at least gotten pictures for Em to look at.

Stopping to stare at Wilson, she couldn't help but lift a brow in response. "Your kidding, right? That many people? You could have been crushed, or even trampled if you fell. Hell, I have a feeling if we didn't get out when we did, we might have been." Shuddering at the thought of being crushed between all of those..con goers, Kat continued to lead Wilson to her dorm room.
"Oh? Sorry to hear that. I heard that a lot of the dorms were, well..trashed, but I didn't know how bad a lot of them were." Stopping to open her door, she gestured for Wilson to head on in, and followed in after him. "Sorry about the mess. With the holes, the wind kind of..blows everything around, y'know. In any case, I'll be just a second." Grabbing some clothes, she decided to use her closet as a changing spot so she wouldn't have to force Wilson to stand out in the hall.
Once changed into clean, non-con-spoiled clothes, Kat grabbed her hunter coat and slipped it on over. "Okay. Remind me to burn those other clothes later. Do you want to head to the infirmary, or just chill here or something. If you'd like, I can walk you back to Gale's house instead. You should probably get yourself checked out, but I'm not gonna push you for it."

He laughed quietly and uneasily. “I don’t think people would have actually trampled me. It looked like they were mostly standing around.” Wilson cracked a small smile and reached over to pat her on the shoulder as she shuddered. “Well, at least we made it out alright. Mostly.”
He shrugged. “It’s alright. I managed to room with Gale at his house with Eva and Deryk, so I don’t mind.” The man managed another grin when the idea of Death parties suddenly occurred to him. The four of them were all from the Death division after all. He nodded his head before walking into Kat’s room. “It’s alright. Looks like it’s in better condition than my room,” he noted with an easygoing laugh. Once he noticed Kat going into the closet with clothes, he hurriedly turned to face his back toward it. It was unnecessary, but it made him feel more comfortable. He still held onto the coat of his costume in his arms when he turned toward Kat. “Really? It’d be such a waste to burn cute clothes,” Wilson teased. “Oh! You don’t need to escort me to the infirmary. I’m not that badly hurt. Really.” He lifted both arms. “But relaxing for a bit would be nice, if you don’t mind. We can stay in your dorm or just amble around the island or something. Whatever you prefer!”

"I dunno, when people want something.." She mused. And boy, did those people ever want to get in there. They were swarmed! But as Wilson said, they made it out. Mostly unscathed.
Grabbing a bottle of water and clean piece of cloth, she dumped its contents on to soak the cloth and clean her face a little. She wouldn't feel clean until she had a shower, but that would have to be later. This would have to do for now. Eying the clothes with a burning hatred, she shook her head and continued to wipe her face clean. "No way. Those clothes are history." She wore them once, that was enough for her to last a life time. As was that Con..that God awful con..
Tossing the cloth aside, Kat kicked a few of the contents on the floor out of her path on her way over to Wilson. "You sure?" She already knew the answer, but, eh..what the hell? "Well, I'll let you decide on which. If you want to hang here, its fine, but I'm game for walking about as well. I don't care which."

Wilson crossed his arms. “That’s true, but I don’t think there was anything worth trampling other people.” Then again, he hadn’t really wanted to attend the convention anyways. Almost everything he had seen there wasn’t particularly worthwhile.
He noticed the stare Kat gave her clothes and he laughed. “So you’re just going to throw them away? What a darn shame.” But Wilson would probably do the same to his own costume. The trainee didn’t mind formal wear—and maybe he would need formal wear in the future—but this specific suit had just a bit too many negative connotations for him to keep it. He tugged at the collar of his dress shirt and unbuttoned the top two as well as untucking his shirt. Smiling, Wilson nodded to Kat. “Yeah, I’m sure.”
“Hmmm.” He looked around the room. “You already spent a lot of time in this room, so let’s take a walk. Go to the cafeteria or something while we talk. I haven’t seen you in a while, so how’ve you been?”

Shrugging in response to his answer, she gave the boy a wry grin. "I dunno. Some of them were desperately grabbing at you. What would have happened if they all stormed the place to get you." Snickering at the thought, she tucked away some of the items lying around the room. This place really was a mess..she would have to clean it properly later, and thoroughly.
"Well, you can have them if you want." she teased the death hunter, not upset in the least to be rid of those defiled clothes. "I have other clothes like those around. Not with the ears and tail, mind you. But I won't be deprived of clothes by burning those." When he assured her he was fine, she nodded again.
"Hey," she pointed a finger at him accusingly in a jokingly way. "I wasn't that long." Straitening out, Kat placed her hands on her hips as she considered the idea of heading to the cafeteria. "Alright, sounds good to me. And I've been alright, aside from the recent trauma we all endured. Been uh..on leave, I guess you could say. What about you? You been up to any trouble, huh?"

He smiled nervously and tugged at the edges of his collared shirt. “Desperately, you say?” Wilson said absentmindedly. Most of the experience had been a blur. While he could remember the grabbings itself quite clearly—unfortunately—he hadn’t managed to catch a good look at the actual con goers. Being smacked around by cardboard wings and plush made it rather difficult. He seemed genuinely concerned when he answered, “I would probably be dead in more than one way.”
Wilson snorted and shook his head. “No thank you. I don’t think that shade of yellow suits me,” he shot back with a grin. He threw her a questioning look at the mention of other similar clothes, but decided that asking about it would be kind of sort of weird. Raising his arms in defense, he laughed and conceded to Kat. “Okay okay. It wasn’t that long.”
“Nice. I think I left some cookies I made earlier in one of the kitchen pantries. I wonder if it’s still there?” He mused as he walked out of Kat’s room backwards. “Oh, on leave? Were you assigned to somewhere else then? Ah, I’ve been alright! Just the usual pain and suffering,” he joked.

"Desperately." She confirmed. "I had quite a good view from where was. I saw it all." Her grin grew wider, as she mocked the poor boy.
Folding her arms, she narrowed her gaze while her smile remained. "Well, you'd never know until you tried it on. Er..though I don't recommend it anyways." Grimacing at the soiled clothes, Kat felt another shiver creep up her spine and looked away. Nodding in satisfaction with his reply, she flicked what appeared to be some sort of bug, off of her shoulder. "Bloody room needs to get fixed."
As long as it wasn't the same recipe as the lunch lady that was originally here, she was game to try some of Wilson's cookies. "I guess we'll find out."
When asked about her whereabouts, Kat shrugged. "Uhh..to the pods." She was surprised that a lot of people--practically everyone--had no knowledge of her being back in the pods for months. Well, its suited her just fine.
"That should be Deus Exs new motto. Always enough pain and suffering to go around."

Wilson rubbed his temples, his eyes closed and lips twisted into a twitchy smile. She had seen…everything. “Oh God.”
He nodded his head. “It’d be nice if I could live in my own dorm again, but Gale’s house is pretty nice.” Wilson paused thoughtfully. “Maybe I’ll get a house in the towns too, when I can. I still need to think about it though,” he admitted.
Grinning, he spun around and began to walk backwards as he headed toward the cafeteria. “They’re snickerdoodles—my favorite kind of cookies next to chocolate chip. I’ve even got it memorized.” The man seemed pleased with himself as he tapped a finger to his head. He tried not to think of the dickerdoodles Clerise had made the previous time.
Genuine surprise. “…oh.” He was quiet for a moment before he said, “I guess that makes sense. I just thought you were on some other duties or something. Things like that.”
“I’m not sure if I like that motto,” he chuckled, glancing behind him to make sure he didn’t bump into anyone. “But it certainly suits the place.”

When it finally dawned on Wilson that she had been witness to all of his torment at the convention, she let out a small laugh. "Its okay. I won't tell a soul. But God help me! I won't stop laughing from time to time." Especially if something like this happened again.
"Hmm~ I haven't seen it yet. Must be nice for him to have all that space though. Not that I'm complaining. I love my little dorm. Even if there are holes all through it and the occasional bug..or two..or three. I can't wait till these rooms get all patched up. Seriously." Huffing, she folded her arms behind her head and furrowed her brow.
"Oh?" She blinked, trying to recall what those were. "I've never had those before. Though, I'm not sure if one of the cafes I used to work at sold some. Eh, I can't remember."
Katerine shrugged, not really sure what to say. "According to Mark, I must have done something bad or screwed up and ended up back in there. But I think he might have been just trying piss me off at the time. Too bad for him, it didn't work." A wry grin spread across her features as she continued to follow alongside Wilson.
"Definitely."

“I guess I’ll have to make sure to keep my rear safe from any a**-grabbing. Wouldn’t want someone to knock you out while you were laughing, right?” It was hard to tell if Wilson was joking or serious.
“It is a nice place, and Gale’s a pretty nice kid. He’s letting a bunch of other hunters stay at his house while the rooms get fixed up.” Wilson chuckled as he began to count on his fingers the number of people. “Me, Eva, Deryk, Saya…Yup. Quite a group.” He looked genuinely worried as he turned back toward Kat’s dorm, which was quickly shrinking. “Bugs? That doesn’t sound hygienic. Are you sure you’re okay with living in your dorm like that?”
“They’re really good. They have cinnamon in them.” Wilson grinned. “Let’s hope no one mooched on my cookies while I was gone, eh?”
“Hmmm.” Hands slid into his pockets as he tried to compile a list of reasons to be shoved back into the pod. “Those can certainly put you back in the pod, but I think being inactive is a strong reason as well. You have to be useful, after all.”
He idly spun around once, but then began to walk backwards and in front of Kat. Wilson craned his neck back as they entered the cafeteria. “Alright, let’s check the kitchen.”

Kat only snorted at his reply. "Well, if that did happen, it would be worth it." She grinned, totally serious.
Kat let out a low whistle when he began to count all who had moved in with Gale. Even in a house, that seemed like a quite a crowd. "Be sure to say hi to Gale to me when you see him next." She would go over and do it herself, but she had things to do and clothes to burn after she was done walking with Wilson. "Hmm? Oh yeah. Its no big deal. Its kind of like camping. But indoors. I purchased a fly swatter, so that helps too."
"They sound good." If they were still there, she would definitely be swiping a few.
Shrugging, she honestly had no idea what reason it was that she had gone back into the pods. "Well, I had been on the missions and everything right up to when I went back in the pods, so..I dunno. To be honest, it doesn't even bother me, and its all in the past now. No point dwelling on it."
Grinning, she watched and nodded when the neared the cafeteria. "Yes'sir~"

“Worth it you say.” Wilson rolled his eyes, but he was grinning.
He nodded his head. “Sure thing! Won’t be long before I see him again.” He raised an eyebrow at Kat to indicate his skepticism, but if the woman insisted then he wouldn’t protest. Wilson nodded again and smiled. “That’s true. It’s not good to dwell on the past when we’ve got plenty to worry about already.”
Laughing, he mock-saluted the sun hunter as he continued to backwards walk to the kitchen. His back pressed against the door and he disappeared. Wilson went toward the pantry and after a bit of rummaging around and rearranging, he pulled out a bag of snickerdoodles. He held them close to his face so he could doublecheck they were his snickerdoodles. Though really, how many people baked their own snickerdoodles?
“Found them!” he called out as he left the kitchen and tossed the plastic bag of cookies toward Kat. “Hopefully they still taste fresh, but stale cookies were never much of a problem for me.” Wilson smirked.

"But of course!" Kat loved to mock her fellow hunters, of course she would jump at the chance to tease Wilson if this was to happen again.
Kat merely nodded and continued on with Wilson towards the cafeteria. It was about due the time she stopped by and grabbed a cup of coffee anyways. She could already feel a headache forming from her lack of caffeine intake today.
Following Wilson inside, she took in a breath of air, smelling the usual aroma in the air. The food wasn't all that great here, but she supposed it could have been worse. At least it wasn't like she was eating things that tasted like cardboard or anything. Moving for the coffee pot, the first thing she did was pour herself a cup, followed by adding creamer and sugar. At least this took some of the bad taste out of it.
Her gaze landed on Wilson as he called out to her, grinning when she spotted the tray in his hands. "Well, they look good anyways."
