Ibara was walking once more to Yuuka's mansion, though this time, the sun as in their favor, and the oni had no idea what she was signing up for.
Yuuka had told her to come around (or something) and she did, apparently since Yuuka was now incharge of her (or something) she had to be trained.... or something. So what could she do? Ibara walked to the field as instructed.
The oni made it at the accorded time and walked through the feel still wondering what the gardener had in mind. She figured Yuuka would spot her walking her precious field anyway, so there was no real hurry.

Yuuka waited quietly in her garden, within a wide patch of upturned soil that lacked any flowers or for the moment. Yuuka had specifically created this area for Ibara's training, so as to minimize any damage done to her garden. Being so close to home, she didn't bother wearing her normal attire aside from her signature skirt, and instead opting for a sleeveless white blouse and woven sandals, and straw hat. Her parasol, closed and fastened, had its tip planted firmly in the soft soil beneath her feet.
The plan was simple: Invoke the Monster, then beat it into submission - or rather, teach Ibara to beat it into submission. And the only way to invoke the Monster was to threaten its life directly...
Yuuka felt a disturbance amongst the plant life around her. Something moved, displacing them. She lifted her arm, glowing parasol in hand, taking aim for the center point of the disturbance. "Foreign Machination: Magnum Spark." A shot rang out, a shockwave was released, and the high-powered round traveled at speeds to rival even the fastest of Tengu, and was aimed straight at Ibara...

Ibara had been walking perpendicular to Yuuka it appeared, of course, the bartender head no way of knowing this. She simply walked quietly, with her hands in her pockets.
When she felt the shockwave, though, she quickly turned to face in the direction of the impact, worrying that something had once more come to disrupt the youkai of flowers or worse. What she saw was a giant cannon ball of whatever-looking-danmaku coming towards her at incredible speeds.
The oni acted on reflexe, quickly spinning around and bringing her hands up to defend herself somehow. The impact in itself caused a tremendous shock wave as the spark crashed into Ibara's hands....
Over the flowers the magnum spark flied, thrown over someone's head as a migthy roar was heard, like the one someone makes when suddenly lifting something in a surge of energy, halfway between a grunt and halway between a growl. Perhaps the Magnum spark got pulled by gravity far away, but the movement from the beyond the flowers didn't stop.
Some jumped over them, landing just beyond the line and into Yuuka's prepared mound, crounched in a seemingly more animal and predatorial way. The bartender ditched her hat in a fit; She had thrown it into the ground out of rage of suddenly being attacked in such a manner! The orange eyes had a piercing glare as the oni remained crounched.
After a few never ending seconds she made a movement and place her hands on the ground before her, still crounched down. She remember this woman, she had been there in her last fight wasn't it? She was also one of the ones that wouldn't stop yelling at her their nonsense. What was she thinking?! Throwing danmaku like it was confetti! Someone had to show her some manners, and this oni was up to it. Yes sir. She wasn't a happy oni, not even a drunk oni.

Selkie had heard about the events that occured. She wanted to visit her friend very badly. She was really worried about her. She hopped down the pathway to the Garden of the Sun. Suddenly thee was a cannon-like shot that rang over head. She was in mid jump as it went off, so she quickly curled up and landed on the ground for safety. After a few seconds she got back up and bolted down the pathway to see what the heck that was, her bow on her back and easy to get just in case.
((I almost forgot about her, since it's been a long time since I used her sweatdrop

Yuuka's gaze was calm, her thoughts collected, her body at ease, even as the powerful Magnum Spark was sent spiraling away like a toy. The tip of her parasol smoked as residual magic burnt away; she lowered the "weapon" and held it firmly by her side. "I've seen your face in her shadow. I've seen your face in the places you weren't meant to be." The gardener spoke quietly to herself, knowing full well what had caused the shot to deflect. "I've heard them whisper about you; they say your eyes are on fire, they say you'd kill a man for walking one step out of line..."
A bloodthirsty roar erupted from beyond the flowery barricade, spelling out doom for all who dare to challenge it. Undeterred, Yuuka stood her ground. "But, they say a lot of foolish things, and in the end, the only words I can find to believe in are mine." Ibara appeared from the flowers, leaping over them with both grace and murderous intent. It seemed the first step in her plan had worked magnificently.
Yuuka stared down the Monster, her grip tightening around the parasol's handle. "And when they see your face again, they will know what it means to have fear dragged out into the light." A flash, and a spell card appeared in her hand. It shone brightly, as though it were a second sun. Yuuka held the spell card high into the air, causing the sunflowers surrounding the field of dirt to glow brightly themselves. They began to release petal danmaku from all sides of the "ring" in a wide pattern, swaying back and forth, as if governed only by wind.

She looked curiously to the ring around the danmaku. Had she just been caged? Well then, all she had to do was crush the youkai and spell card would break right? The oni stood up, her eyes shifting from the rin of danmaku that swayed in the wind.
She ran a foot through the dirt, a sneer cracking her lips as she beginnto punch the danmaku tha even got close to her. It was an easy way to defend herself, you could say. Simply draining the temperance of the energy orbs and smashing them with their own energy. She wondered how much this spell could last. Amusing how she seemed to understand the rules even when she was unsure of how to use her own cards!... wait those were her cards in her pocket weren't they? She could worry about that after she broke this spell!
Ibara grazed easily a few more danmaku before making anhead on charge at the green haired Youkai, keeping her whole body titled as she brought down a closed fist over her head.

Selkie heard something, but what? She readied the cards in a satchel that she had around shoulder which fell down on the other side of her body. From around the large sunflowers, Selkie could make out more of the mansion which Yuuka lived in.
When she remembered that Yuuka lived there, she froze up temporarily. "W-why am I going towards h-h-her...?" She asked herself quietly. She looked through her thoughts and tried to think of why, just the thought of that powerful and scary youkai made her forget everything. She was about to run back to the temple, when she remembered. "Ibara." She said to herself. She looked back at the mansion and nodded. "I need to see how she's doing." She said as she began jogging up the path to the mansion, to save some of her energy.

Yuuka stepped to the side while arching her back. Ibara's blow just barely grazed her. Quick on her feet, Yuuka caught her step, turned, and lashed out with the parasol with two fast strikes aimed for Ibara's ribs. She then lept backwards, creating some distance between herself and the hornless Oni, while firing off another Magnum Spark from the tip of her parasol while still in mid air. Elsewhere, the spell card timed out, and the sunflowers surrounding the field ceased their hail of danmaku.
Yuuka landed a few meters away, taking a moment to regain her balance. Blood trickled down her brow. Even though Ibara's attack had been grazed, the sheer kinetic energy left behind in its wake was enough to break the aged Youkai's skin. "Are you ready to prove them all wrong, Ibara?" She wiped her brow, leaving a stain of blood along her bare arm. "This Monster shouldn't be in control. It's a part of you - not the other way around. Find its leash, or I will!"
((Neither of our characters are easily subdued, so I figured a no-holds-barred beatdown was in order xP Feel free to rough Yuuka up in return!))

Ibara took the blow to the ribs, hardly cringing, though she knew it would hurt once she slowed down, that would be hurting. Alot.Â
The oni had to take another step as Yuuka moved out of the way, with small slight grumble as she spinned around to face her opponent. A second cannonball made it into her hands.Â
This time she managed to put her hands around it, creating skid marks as she slowed down the spark. It took her a second or two to stop  the magnum spark in it's track. Once more she roared, lifting the ball of Danmaku over her head, as Yuuka  talked about leashing whoever. Wasn't it rude to tie people? She thought it was. Or it was fine, as long as people did deserve it.Â
Seemed to her this woman was rude! Ibara didn't deserve to be leashed! Â Or so she reasoned. Â She dug her claws into the ball of danmaku swinging it back at Yuuka.Â
As she threw it she remained a bit leaned foward, panting. That last one took a good amount of energy, and even as she drained the temperance into the sphere, it managed to cut into her flesh. As Ibara got her breath back, the blood from her hands dripped onto the earth, terribly bruised. She should have probably just punched it back instead of straight out stopping it in its tracks.
The hornless oni took a deep gulp of air and straigthened out, regaining her grin. She was all set to continue figthing! Â It was her turn now wasn't it? There was no one leashing her today! She took a small step back before shooting forward to lash out at Yuuka with three punches and a swipe kick.
It seemed that in this state, Ibara was all out for physical, clean fist hits. Not that her bloodied hands where exactly clean fists at this point.
((Fine by me xD 1v1! ))

Yuuka watched intently as Ibara struggled with the Magnum Spark. Ibara somehow managed to return the shot like a fastball; the Gardener reacted by opening her parasol, reflecting the returned munition off into the sky for a second time.
She moved the parasol aside just in time to see the Monster rush her with a flurry of punches. The first and second blow connected, sending waves of pain surging throughout her body. Before the third connected, however, Yuuka managed to hook the tip of her parasol in the crux of Ibara's arm, stopping the punch just short of striking her - Ibara immediately retaliated with a swift kick from the opposing side. The kick sent Yuuka flying, crashing through the wall of sunflowers that surrounded the soil field. She nearly landed on poor Selkie...
Yuuka coughed, holding her side momentarily. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth as the pulled herself to her feet, readying another spell card: "Defense Sign: Rose Trap". Thorns grew out of the sunflower stalks surrounding both Yuuka and Selkie, creating a sort of spike wall between them and the Monster.

The oni was happy to send that youkai like a bullet into the flowers. She even gave a laugh. Nevertheless, the fight wasn't over just yet. The bartender hurried after the opponent. she was running to fast, by the time she noticed the thorn wall, she had bounced it with an exalted yelp.
Her clothes punctured by the thorns, the trickles of red blood stained her clothes, going from minor scratches to punctures to full out thorns stuck into her clothes and skin. She gave a stumble back, with a frown, her orange eys could see two figures inside the wall of thorns. No fair! How was she going to reach the green head now?!
Ibara seemed to ponder for a second, the field still with silence. She picked out two thorns from herself, thinking of how to get through. She picked out two more wondering why the youkai had hidden inside that thing, when SHE had challenged HER. One more she plucked out dropping them onto the floor, stained with her crimson liquid. With the last, she noticed how her hands where bloodied from the danmaku she had stopped.
She stared on, watching a drop fall from her hand to the soil. If her hands where these bad, why worry about further damage? Her grin returned as she clenched her fist close. She took two steps to the wall, before grippin the a bundle of flowers in each hand, and begun to pry them apart so as to enter a Yuuka's and Selkie's sanctuary. The blood pooled in her own hands and on the floors she gripped. Still the oni felt this was a great plan!
Wouldn't it have been easier to just danmaku the wall or wait for the spell to run out?
((Poor Selkie almost got Yuuka slammed. XD ))

Anger was roused in the Gardener as she watched her sunflowers be torn apart by the senseless Oni. She knew, however, that if she and the little rabbit were to survive, then action must be taken.
It was obvious the thorns wouldn't stop her completely, but at least they were slowing Ibara down. "They say, 'this Oni...she's been dead for years now...so death is not something that scares her'... Ibara! There's worse things than death here!" Yuuka readied a third spell card, holding it out towards the rampaging Oni like a shield. "There's loss, and there's silence, and sadness..." The spell card glowed, activating. The sunflower stalks began to jettison the thorns they had grown, creating a deadly shrapnel in the immediate area surrounding both Yuuka and Selkie, and Ibara.
Yuuka turned and wrapped her arms around Selkie, protecting her from the shrapnel that would have otherwise harmed her; the thorns would pierce Yuuka in her stead.

What was the youkai talking about? Loss, Sadness? Wait that was a spellcard-
Ibara roared (not to call is scream) as the thorns pierced into her. It was a shock to her system to receive more damage from another direction other than her hands. She stumbled back, putting her hands over her head in an attempt to shield herself. She knew sadness. She knew loneliness. She knew the fear of death all too well. Silence she knew well too. All those things she feared, and so she hid in Club Youkai. If she had started figthing because she had been threatened? Yuuka wasn't going to hurt her was she? Yet the thorns kept burrowing into her skin, causing trickles of blood that eventually added to a large quantity of stains.
She couldn't stop the thorns cowering like this! It hurt. And alot! What to do, what to do?! Right! She had cards in her pocket! She fluttered into her pocket, pulling out the card she first grasped. The hornless oni looked at it and took a few seconds to read at it. For that while she stood there perplexed at the flies on the paper as the thorns continued to rain.
Ibara finally got what the card said! "Temperant Sign!" She called finding her voice somewhere,"Onigarashi Flood!"
Foud red orbs of danmaku begun to spin around her, before slowing and ejecting rows of blue danmaku that continued to spin before multiplying it what looked like bacteria reproducing. Soon enough a wave of blue danmaku rainedd from around the oni that had some how managed to read her own card.

Yuuka grimaced, and winced, as many thorns pierced her body as well. The dozens, perhaps hundreds of small stabs were hardly enough to prove a lethal threat to the powerful Flower Master, but that didn't stop it from being extremely painful. Her own blood dripped from her body and down her legs, staining her clothes and creating small pools at her feet. Yuuka flexed the muscles in her body, forcing some of the thorns out of her flesh. They dropped to the ground harmlessly, though still stained with blood. Deeper thorns still remained in her body, however, and were still causing great pain.
Then, she heard it; the deranged mental state that Ibara possessed somehow managed to declare a spell card. It was also that moment that she realized her parasol had been misplaced. Giving a quick glance revealed it to be resting between herself and Ibara, and nearly at the epicenter of the Oni's spell.
Of course.
Yuuka released Selkie and ran straight towards Ibara and her spell, dodging the plague-like danmaku bullets as she did. When she came to a row of blue danmaku, she charged straight through it, using her arm to graze and block a direct hit. However, this danmaku was different; instead of hurting, it caused Yuuka to lose the feeling in her arm, making it drop to her side uselessly.
She rolled forward, under another wave of the danmaku, and grabbed her parasol just before righting herself. Now on one knee, and nearly on top of Ibara, Yuuka aimed the parasol at the Oni. "Flower Sign: Returning Light!" The parasol popped open, and the material that made up its shape began to glow blindingly bright, while shooting out numerous small beams of laser danmaku.

As Selkie made her way to the mansion, of all things, Yuuka came flying a her and almost hit her! Selkie let out a squeak as she landed by her. "Yu-Yuuka?!" She said to the green haired youkai.
Yuuka then casted a spell card. Thorns came out of the sunflowers around her and Yuuka. Selkie thought that she could see something for a moment. Then, something outside began to tear sunflowers off of the sunflower wall. That's when she saw it. Ibara. Ibara and Yuuka were fighting? Weren't they friends? But wait, Ibara seemed... different.
Before Selkie could do anything, Yuuka wrapped her arms around her and shielded her from the thorns of the sunflowers. But it didn't seem to stop the oni. The oni even casted a spell card. And it didn't look good. Selkie had to think of something, and fast... But she couldn't hurt Ibara even if she wanted to... Could she? She had an idea. Her eyes began to glow in their red color as she charged her spell card, taking the card out of her satchel as she readied it.
Suddenly, Yuuka ran at Ibara and used a spell card too, releasing Selkie from her hold. The blue danmaku from Ibara began to get closer to her. She leaped into the air, doing a back flip out of some sort of habit. What could she do to help? She didn't want to hurt Ibara. "What do I do..." She said to herself quietly.
