Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

Zinnia entered the stadium with Zyk perched on the familiar place of her shoulder. Zinnia nodded appreciatively at the field choice. The playground field always looked like fun, but more importantly, it did not put any of her pokemon at a disadvantage.
She looked to the other side of the field and spotted the trainer that would be her opponent. She waved and called, "Good luck!"
"All right, Zyk," she said more quietly to her zubat, "You know what to do."
Zyk chirruped an affirmation before taking off, catching the air under his wings and sailing out into his position on the field. He hovered as steadily as he could, rising and falling with each wing stroke as he waited for the battle to begin.

As Kytti and her deerling enter the room, the sights sink in and she smiles.
"It never ceases to amaze me where we can battle, what do you think Willow?" she asked her companion.
With a gentle nudge and a soft bleat, Willow showed her happiness and took off running wildly, getting a lay of the land.
"This should be another interesting battle," Kytti amused to herself.
"Good luck to you too!" she called back to the other trainer.

Kytti called out to Willow, "Let's do it! You know how to start it off."
Willow came in from her running around, looked towards the floating zubat, and took aim. Shuffling her feet and kicking up dust and grass, she bolted towards the zubat, launching grass particles and seeds at the opponent.

"Aha," Zinnia said, taking note of the seeds that burrowed into poor Zyk's fur. "Two can play at that game. Zyk, Leech Life!" she declared.
Zyk squirmed a bit as the seeds latched on; it felt quite uncomfortable. But his trainer's command reached his ears loud and clear, and he dove toward the deer with his fangs bared, ready to steal some health.

Willow, having sensed an incoming attack, barely dodged the incoming zubat. Sliding to one side, she looked up and readied her next attack.
"Hit it with Toxic!" Kytti exlaimed.
Willow heard the command, shook her head and charged. Spores of toxic leaves leaped from the bushing on her head and launched towards the awaiting zubat.

Feeling a bit of her life being drained, Willow stands and shuffles her hooves along the ground, charging up static electricity then arcs it towards the zubat.

"Nice one!" Zin complimented as Zyk swiftly regained height to avoid the deerling's retaliation. "Now for another Leech Life!"
Zyk winced as the leech seed and toxic took their toll once again, but he dove in for another drink of blood.

Willow barely sidesteps the attack and begins to shuffle her feet again. Building her static back up, she launches another attack towards the zubat.

After dodging the charge again, Zyk carefully emitted several supersonic chirps, using his echolocation to lock onto his target. He aimed, then dove once more.

Zyk dodged Willow's attack once again, this time allowing himself a small smirk. It seemed like her Wild Charge was a bit too wild! She really had to aim better when her opponent was as acrobatic in the air as he was!
