"So this is it?" The speaker hefted the box in his arms as he leaned back, squinting as he stared at Amityville Academy. "This is the place? Really?"

The smaller figure next to him nodded. "It really is. Come on, it won't change colors the longer you stare at it." He paused, adding a quick "Maybe," to the end of it. Amityville Academy had been the center of attention lately. It wasn't a surprise, considering it was one of the top schools in Halloween. He figured the drama and attention was a way to get free advertising out of it. Come to Amityville, the center of mystery and intrigue! He had to give the school credit. It was certainly a way to keep the name of Amityville out there.

The two progressed further towards the school, earning a curious look from students followed by a second look. These two weren't students. Their long cloaks, one green and the other light blue, set them apart. They were boogeymen.

The taller of the boogeymen with the green cloak looked around, nudging the smaller and pointing. "Hey! Check it out. Looks like their prom's starting soon. Got a date lined up?"

"What? Ugh, no."

"Want one?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"You just want an excuse to go to it, don't you."

"Aw, come on! It'll be fun!"

"I said no."

Depressed was an understatement. Mot was practically dead inside after the break up. The only thing that had him at least thinking was Lizzy's problem, and the help she had asked for. It got him thinking about Boogeymen again, how it was still his dream to join the ranks of those cloaked crusaders. They'd had a bad rep lately, but he still held faith they faught the good fight.

And suddenly a chance arose. Two boogeymen with boxes headed into the school zone.

The tall reaper paused in his slow paced walk. Why were they here now? He was almost jaded to their presence, but curiosity shone through his dismal mood. The long haired reaper stepped toward them casually, offering a small wave. "Pardon me. Um.." Oh Jack... he was... actually nervous. Boogeymen, despite it all, were his idols. What if he was shunned? He'd have a hard time bouncing back.

"Is... there something wrong here again? Or.."

"Yes there is something wrong!" The taller boogeyman interrupted. "Saebel here won't -"

"Take you to the prom," Saebel finished, cutting his companion off. The reaper had changed from the last time he was seen. His cloak had changed from its gradient white-light blue to a solid light blue. He had grown his hair out, tying it back in a queue. The bells were still present on his person, crossed both ways across his chest and around his waist. "No, no, nothing of that sort," Saebel went on to add quickly. "My friend here -- Aodh is just helping me move in. I'm going to be teaching."

The reaper wrinkled his eyebrows, looking at Mot again with concern. "Or is there something I should be concerned about? I know Amityville has a lot going on, but..."

The Grim furrowed his brows lightly at the banter, almost worried a moment. Taking who to prom? Apparently it was a remnant from their earlier conversation. Wait... Saebel? He recognized that name from a few places.

Wait---

I'm going to be teaching.

Mot's eyes must have widened to the size of saucers. the dark clouds of his mind being thrashed away by beams of sunlight. Their concern about his earlier question was ignored in favour of fanboying. "W-wait! You're... going to be teaching here?!"

His terra cotta eyes might have been sparkling.

The tagger boogeyman slung an arm over Saebel's shoulders, nearly sending the smaller reaper toppling over. "Yep! Saebel here accepted a teachin' position. I take it you're a student here?"

"Ahh, give him time to talk!" Saebel shot back, unsuccessfully attempting to shrug off his comrade's arm. "Otherwise, y-yes. I'm not needed elsewhere, and there's been some... misunderstandings between Amityville and the Boogeymen. I hope that I'll be able to assist in clearing up some of that confusion while sharing my knowledge."

Mot smiled. The biggest, widest smile ever to be seen.

His heart beat quickly in his chest, the urge to whoot and hollar high but kept down inside. Life had certainly been restored to the reaper's heart. "That's wonderful! Yes! I'm a student. Um.. to be perfectly honest it's been a dream of mine to join the Boogeymen after graduation." Inwardly he cursed himself for acting like such a fan boil, but he simply couldn't contain himself.

So Saebel was here to clear it up. The horrid mistrust between Amity and Boogeys. His little cowboil heart beat with renewed hope.

There was something off about the punk boil walking onto the campus. It might have been the stark, emotionless expression on his face--but no, he sometimes got into that sort of "mood." Not often, but sometimes. No, what stood out about the punk was the white vest he was wearing, one that looked an awful lot like his usual vests. But it was white. Roch NEVER wore white.

And he was walking straight up to the boogies. That probably stood out, too. "Mot," he said to his pal, almost blandly. "What's goin on, are we gettin' shut down again? If we are, what the hell did I miss?"

He frowned slightly. He doubted they'd be shut down for the trance... but he HAD been gone for a few days, and the haunted house had lasted all of one night--

"Was it fun?" he finally asked.

Mot turned, hearing Roch's voice took him out of his sparkling stupor. His pal wasn't exactly on the best terms with boogies. In fact, a lot of people he knew weren't. It was a little unnerving. "No, nothing like that. Mr. Saebel here is going to be a teacher here." He replied a little nervously.

"Was what fun?"

Willow had been pulled from napping on the school grounds at some noise a little ways away. Normally she'd open one eye long enough to glare before going back to sleep, but something else had caught her interest. Padding up in her natural form as she approached she shifted to her student form.

"Teaching eh?" She looked over the boogies. "As long as they're not trying to shut us down again." There was a pause, "We'll still be able to train to protect ourselves just on the off case we'd ever need to while you're here right?" Another pause, "Friendly spars and all that?"

She wasn't going to bring up the word hunters unless she found an oppertunity to do it without getting her butt chewed out or hauled off to some boogy-hospital for the insane.

"Whatever happened to get us shut down," Roch said. "I was out of town, so I figured I missed it." Then he looked at the boogies, raising an eyebrow. "Teach, huh? Teach what?" He reached into his pocket, his fingers touching the box that his family given him. So... he'd just been breaking into a mansion the other day--but it wasn't breaking in when your family owned it, right? Just taking an alternative route.

What was the last illegal thing he'd done... his mind raced, trying, more importantly, to figure out what the last illegal thing that the boogies KNEW about was... He was pulling a blank. So... maybe they WERE just here to teach?

His fingers brushed a sucker and he pulled it out of his pocket, unwrapping it and sticking it in his mouth as he waited for the boogies to reply. It would keep him from saying something TOO stupid, he figured.

It wasn't every day that boogies would be seen wandering around the campus. And so Shun was a little wary of why they were here. With his hands in his pockets, he stared at the two. While they did help out Seeds with a little something, he wasn't all too pleased to see them. Furthermore, he heard something about one of them teaching here. A few things were going to need to be kept even more on the down low if that was going to be the case.

Unsurprisingly, he noticed Mot looking like the way Lizzy did when something 'cute' was happening.

Shehk was in-between visits with Jericho when she'd noticed the boogeymen, and while it made her hackles rise a bit, she couldn't help but at least linger around a bit - at least enough to overhear from Mot that one of them was going to be teaching there.

She looked between them, brows raised.

"Been a while since we had a Boogeyman teaching here instead of trying to get some of us thrown out into the streets." she noted lightly - albeit, she sounded a bit more relieved than she did skeptical. Then again, a long term Boogeyman stay was going to case problems with a certain someone....

"Will you be mentoring at all? I'm sure I'm not the only third year who has been holding out in hopes to get some training to become a Boogeyman in the future."

Lizzy had been on her way back to school from the Maul, after getting some supplies for prom, when she ran into the growing group of students with a very familiar Bogeyman, and a not so familiar Bogeyman. Since she wasn't sure what to do, she decided to duck into a bush in order to listen in, feeling rather proud of her big brother Mot for being such an adult.

Sadly, being proud causes sparkles.

Speaking of Lizzy, Shun noticed a rather suspicious sparkling bush nearby.

Danny walked right up to Roch and Mot, pulled the sucker out of his mouth and put it in her own, and then said, "Hey guys what're we talkin' about?"

Classy.
