 Sayoko looked around the meadow that lead to the mountains. She was wondering what might await her in the strange lands, she had never ventured this far but of course was always up for a challenge and something new. Akira was beside her as always and was as grumpy as ever, he didn't like it that she wanted to explore the terrain but he would have to get used to the idea or just wait there for her in the meadow. "You can either wait here or come with me." She told him with a warm smile, she meant no attitude or to rush his decision. She just was eager to find out what the day had in store for her, if she would make any new friends or not.
The little bear looked around hesitantly and then laid down in the grass, Sayoko's heart ached a little because he wouldn't come with her but she shrugged it off. Akira didn't always have to be with her and at her side at all times right? With a small sigh, she wandered out of the meadow and made her way into the mountains. She pushed Akira to the back of her mind but the nagging thought of his safety and her own was eating at her.

 The silver goat led the way, staying close by Mikaeus as she walked slowly into the meadow. She made sure Mikaeus could keep up, and hear where she was stepping so he could follow right after her. Though he was still a foal, his parents lets him go out on his own for short periods of time with Dennae - knowing full well one day Mikaeus would be a stallion wanting to strike out on his own.
Mikaeus had gotten very good at navigating his way through the world. He followed, mostly by sound, the path Dennae took. Though she was always close enough that he could touch her easily with his front hoof.
Though, once in the meadow, the little goat stopped and gave a bleat; signaling someone was close.

The mare stopped in her tracks and was mesmerized by the sight of the purple spotted foal and the silver colored goat traveling into the meadow. It was like Akira knew that strangers would be traveling her way and that she needed to stay put, but she being the stubborn mare she was, she just had to go off on her own way. She slowly traveled back into the meadow and tried her best not to scare the foal or the goat. "Hello." She greeted them both in a soft voice. Sayoko had approached them from behind while her familiar had been laying before them, eyes open with caution. She imagined that Akira was wondering if they were a threat or not, she was starting to wonder the same thing.

Dennae nudged Mikaeus subtly, indicating to him where to turn. The newcomer looked harmless enough, but Dennae was dutifully cautious, ready to sprint off and get help from Mikaeus's parents at the first sign of trouble.
The little colt on the other hand was happy and excited to meet new friends. "Hello!" he said excitedly, taking a step in her direction. He looked up and smiled in the general direction of the mare, though his eyes didn't seem to settle or focus on hers. "Lovely day today! How are you doing?"

"It is indeed a lovely day, I'm Sayoko and that is my bear Akira." She figured it was best to get the awkward introductions out of the way already. "I'm quite well, going out on an adventure is the best thing there is!" She explained her feelings of the day and what it held for her and Akira all in one sentence or so she thought. The pair loved to be together and do things as a pair, they didn't like to be a part very often. But if they were not together, it was usually because they didn't see eye to eye on something like earlier when she was going on her own up the mountain. "What are you doing out here?" She was wondering if the little foal and her familiar would like to join them on their adventure or at the very least maybe in playing.
