[[ YOU ARE INVITED TO GALE'S HOUSE! Please do not post until you are quoted again. Just want to get a few set-up posts in before guests show up! Please IM me: thegodforgotten if you have any questions or want to set up pre-party conversations between Bix and your character. biggrin ]] Bix had tried to plan this as thoroughly as possible. He he'd texted people ahead, people he'd fished out of Gale's phone while he was hanging around one day, and he'd been plotting with Molly while they hung out. He knew that Gale would never agree to a party but having a small group of just his close friends would be nice. Everyone was given a few days warning by text message, 'Party at Gale's, small group, housewarming sleepover. Text back if you wanna contribute games/drinks/etc.'. He figured that was good enough. Bringing a housewarming gift was usually expected and anyone who'd texted back about food or drinks were directed to plan with Molly. Baking, of course, was Before's expertise. Bringing games and activities would always be appreciated! The last piece of the puzzle was getting in. Bix's first plan was just to go in a window but as soon as he found out that Deryk was crashing on the couch his problem was solved. On the appointed day, Bix and Molly showed up as soon as they knew the coast was clear. They were carting bags and boxes of decorations and supplies (as well as their gifts for him). Bix knocked for Deryk in the late morning, peeking in the window for the other hunter to let them in. He remembered and sent a text. His bro always got called first. Huni Pi Coast is clear. Meet us there.

Once he found out about the housewarming party, Deryk was on board right away. After all, it was the least he could do since Gale was letting him crash at his place for the time being. When the day came around, he just waited, reading through his book. Upon hearing the knock, he sat up from the couch and looked to the window, spotting the albino hunter waiting outside.
With a grin, he quickly rushed on over to the door to let in him and Molly.
"Hey guys. Come on in," he said in a hushed tone.

Molly was just all sorts of excited as she juggled her large bags of things all for Gale. Today put her in a rather cheerful mood…and a talkative one at that. She was sure she chatted Bix’s ear off all about Gale’s house warming things today, and that as soon as they were in she needed to start preparing Gale’s favorite dish, fish and chips! The Mist trainee was rocking on the heels of her new boots as she waited for Deryk to let them in, and at the sight of the blond hunter Molly was grinning widely.
“Good morning Deryk!” she chirped. “How are you? I hope you’re doing well! Thank you so much for planning with us and letting us in and—Oh! You know, I think I owe you something!” Molly leaned and kissed the Death trainee on the cheek. “That was for the Isles!” She winked then, and scooted herself quickly into the kitchen where she was immediately setting out the food and drinks she bought, in addition to the deep fryer for Gale’s favorite food.

Bix shifted his box of supplies and followed Molly in, pausing by Deryk to give him a look. "You don't get a kiss from me. You aren't good enough for these lips.." He made a puckery smoochy face and laughed. "Hey wait.. NO FAIR. Where's my cheek kiss?!" Bix got loud at Molly's back for a second and gave Deryk a wink. With a little bit of a shoulder nudge he nodded to the other young man, "Thanks for this though. My first plan was to break a window... proooobably not the best one." He was mostly carrying decorations and put the box down on the floor in Gale's living room. "Molly's got food stuff.. I have decorations. I may have to run out in a sec and bring back sleeping bags and stuff. Lemme text Before." He'd piled it in his dorm but then forgotten it. Huni Pi Forgot sleeping bags.. grab from my dorm?

Deryk grinned at Molly but he soon became rather flustered as she kissed him on the cheek.
"H-huh wuh? Oh. Right. The isles. Y-yeah," he stammered out as his face took a rather pinkish hue. He managed to kind of snap out of it though when Bix spoke up.
"Haha. D-don't worry about. No kiss is fine with me," he grinned before shaking his head, "'N dun worry about it. Least I could do really. Uh. Lemme know what else you need me to do. Both of you."

“Catch a grenade for me, Bix! Then we’ll talk.” Molly giggled from the kitchen, plugging in the deep fryer and then went about getting out some potatoes, a potato slicer, fish fillets, breading, and cooking oil. While she was waiting for the deep fryer to heat up, she rolled the fillets in the breading and then working on chopping up the potatoes into fry shapes, humming in the mean time.
Seems she’d be rather occupied with that for a bit, and was quite happy with that.

"Catch a grenade she says.." Bix muttered to Deryk, "I went clothes shopping with her.. I think that's up there. I mean.. top of the list! You ever go clothes shopping with a girl? I am an expert purse holder, by the way." Bix started pulling things out of the box. "Help me with this stuff.. just decorations and stuff. Got a banner and streamers. Let's make this place OBNOXIOUS." That would be Bix's touch to the party. And Gale would know he was responsible too. "Are Wilson and Eva here or did they go out and do that shopping like they said?"

"Uhh... out right now. Yes. Should be back soon. I think. Yes. Sounds about right," Deryk said while looking around. He soon just shrugged and went on to start pulling things out of the box, grabbing onto one of the rolls of streamers. Go wild with this, hm?
"Can't say I have. Doesn't sound too fun though," he replied as far as shopping with a girl went. He didn't have many lady friends before and the ones he did were all into computers and games and s**t. Any shopping trips with them were like to... Best Buy and the like.
"So uh. Molly. What'd you bring?" he said while looking over at the kitchen.

"Haha, think this is enough, lil bro?"
Eva looked like she may have been struggling a little as she made her way up to the house, waddling awkwardly as she tried to keep her grip on the plastic bags in her hands. After talking to Molly beforehand, they had ended up purchasing some snacks--biscuits, chocolates, and so on--along with some ingredients that could be used in making food.
And, of course, there were the games. Despite the fact the boxes kept swinging into her leg as she walked, Eva was quite pleased that they had managed to buy Monopoly and Twister. Okay, they weren't the best games for a giant group like this, maybe, but they were classics, okay? And if no one played them today, then at least they could be used some other time if anyone got bored.
"They should be in already, yeah?" She looked over her shoulder at Wilson for confirmation before dropping the bags in her right hand, using her newly freed hand to knock. "Psst, guys?"

Then Molly was right behind Bix, and frowning, looking at him with disappoint.
“Um…Bix?” She wagged a finger at him. “You wanted to go clothes shopping with me…so…you sat on that grenade yourself!” She smiled then, and turned to Deryk, gushing. “I brought everything! Food, blankets, a painting of Big Ben to hang on the wall for Gale…” She then rattled off a whole bunch of other home items. “But I’d have more but Bix toned it down and—“ She kept on going, until the door was knocked on, and then Molly remembered she had stuff going on in the kitchen and skittered back to it.
"Make sure you guys get the door!"

"Shh... Molly." Bix darted his eyes around. "Doing my male bravado thing, you know..." The albino stuck his tongue out a bit before darting for the door to let Eva in.
"Oh got it! Hey guuuys... Welcome to the pre-party whatever this thing is.." He flailed his arms around at all of the nothing they had done so far. "Even though.. you currently live here."
"I'm going to text everyone else once we've set up so they know the coast is clear." At least mostly set up. Or maybe just once they'd delegated things a bit.

Bix had wanted to go? Deryk eyed the white haired male for a moment, then turned his attention back to Molly. Wow, she had brought quite a bit of things then.
"Wow. Hopefully we'll get everything set up before its time, yes?" he said before looking to see Eva and Wilson come on in. He smiled to the two before taking his roll of streamers and... started to put it places.
An interior decorator he was not.

“I’ve told you multiple times, but I suppose I’ll say it again—I’m older than you. You should be my lil sis,” noted Wilson as a smile tugged at his lips. He watched with a careful eye as Eva hobbled her way up to the front door. While the trainee would have offered to alleviate her load, his own hands were filled with plastic bags. Today’s shopping trip had been more than satisfactory. Not only were there board games—Monopoly being his most cherished one of the lot—but lots of sweets for the party. Wilson approved. “They should be,” he answered with a nod.
Once the door opened he smiled at Bix. "Well, live here for the time being, but thanks." He walked inside to plop his bags on one of the empty chairs. “Hey! Want me to take all this food to the kitchen?” Wilson eyed the roll of streamers in Deryk’s hands. “You okay there?”

Eva chuckled at Bix's greeting, and she would have waved had she not had to bend down to pick up the bags again. "Haha, hey guys! I see that you've...got a lot of things done since Wilson and I went out?" She gave Bix a playful nudge with her elbow as she made her way inside, eying Deryk's handiwork with a bright laugh. Well uh...more color was always good, at least?
"Hey, Deryk, uh...looking good!" She grinned at him, before realizing that--while the boys were all here--Molly was not. It took her a moment before she realized that the other girl was probably in the kitchen. "I'm going to drop these off in the kitchen and say hi to Molly. Maybe I can lend her some help or something."
She left the bag of boardgames beside the door before making her way towards the kitchen, where she poked her head in and grinned brightly. "Hey, Molly!" Eva greeted cheerfully, lifting the bag of snacks up for the other girl to see, "Lil bro and I picked up some stuff, as promised. How's everything going in here?"

Bix had black, yellow, white and blue streamers. He hadn't been able to really decide on colors. There was also ONE SINGLE roll of rainbow.
"Ok dudes. This is decorating time. Here's the banner..." He lifted up a rolled up white piece of cloth that looked like a cut up bedsheet. When unrolled it said 'HAPPY HOUSEWARMING' and had cartoon stick figure soccer players in vaguely the uniform of Gale's favorite team. One may have also had a beard and an axe....
"Painted it myself. So this needs to go up and then we can streamer the s**t out of this place." Bix tossed Wilson a couple rolls of streamers. "Scotch tape and thumbtacks in the box too."
