Wow, it seems that in my frenzied fever over the past four days, I entirely missed my Gaian Anniversary yesterday, celebrating my first year on Gaia.
When I first realized this, this morning, it seemed beyond insignificant as for the past <> or so, I have been virtually inactive. But on second thought, a lot has happened in that year; not only on Gaia but in my life as well.
Gaia has evolved insanely. For instance, price wise. Wow, I remember when Kiki's were 5K, NM Scarves were just over 100K, Chain Wallets were 30K, and Winged Anklets over 24K were unheard of. Featurewise.... Casino, Interactive Fishing, Avatar Arena, Towns. Dramawise.... Ankh leaving, having this crazy kid report me and being scared out of my mind, Coco leaving sad . And perhaps most influentially friendwise, HCC, the Wishing Well and the Exchange.
My life, and the world have also shown dramatic changes in nearly every concievable aspect; my beliefs, friends, politics, values and preferences have all changed.
Sorry, this post was not meant to waste your time but rather to... perhaps inspire you to reflect on your past year, week, day, what have you.
Cause Really, I mean just think; this time thirty years ago, Michael Jackson was considered normal....almost.
With this said, happy belated Gaian Anniversary to me.
