Lenore's head perked up from her book as she heard a noise. Mephistopheles immediately stood at attention, aiming to protect Lenore from whatever may have been approaching.

The rustling was the movements of a very large legendary pokemon. Electricity seemed to jump as the Raikou stepped out into the clearing. He wasn't really looking for trouble, just for food.  

[Qixel]

Lenore gaped at the raikou. Mephistopheles remained cautious, shadows building up at his hands. "Who are you, and what do you want with us?"  

[Zakiax]

Itzal sniffed at the air, however his sensitive nose was still sore from the bee's nest he had gotten into earlier that day. "Food?" he inquired. He could swear that he smelled something yummy on them, or it could be his imagination, after all he was hungry.

If the duskull heard the raikou's question, it did not register. Mephistopheles' eye glowed as a wall of shadow formed around Lenore. "I'll not have the girl fall into harm while I still stand. My name is Mephistopheles, and I shall have you turn back from whence you came!"

His arm launched forward, the shadows bolting forward towards the Raikou.

Being attacked at random, or what he thought was at random. (After all he was just asking if there was food around, or so he thought.) Caused the legendary pokemon to become a tad angry. Electrical charges danced around his form and then he charged at the duskull aiming to ram his electrical charged body into the ghost pokemon.

Mephistopheles flew backwards from the titanic impact, electricity continuing to course through his body even after he regained his composure. He sent another wave of shadow racing towards the raikou.

The Raikou was hit once more with the shadowy attack. A low growl escaped the legendary and he charged at the ghost aiming to crunch its misty body between his jaws.

Mephistopheles phased out of the raikou's grip, cloaking himself in shadows.

The Raikou took a few steps back and his body began to spark once more. However instead of attacking the legendary seemed to be charging his attack power.
