Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Mephistopheles floated down to the stage as Lenore sat against the railings of the trainer box. Mephistopheles looked around for his opponent.

Kate entered the stadium, inwardly cheering at the stadium type. Her newly caught Galvantula, Azchel, made a noise of excitement at her side.
Eyeing her opponent from across the stadium, Kate noticed the ghost pokemon floating around.
"Ooh wow, a Duskull!" she exclaimed. Azchel narrowed his eyes in jealousy, pouting by his trainer's side.

Watching his trainer fawn over the ghastly-looking pokemon was enough to make Azchel fire off a large bolt of lightning in the Duskull's direction.
Hmph. That would teach them.

Mephistopheles was caught off guard by the sudden onslaught of lightning, losing feeling in his limbs. He looked at the Galvantula calmly and announced, "Greetings. I am Mephistopheles, and as you seem aware, I am your opponent. Good luck."
His eye glowed as he spoke, memorizing the pattern of the attack he had just been hit by.

Kate spared another glance at the cool red Duskull, before entering full battle-mode.
"Okay Azchel, good job on paralyzing it on your own! Now let's go for some damage with another Thunder!"
Azchel let out a little chirp of agreement, sending yet another bolt of lightning at the Duskull known as Mephisto.

"Good job, Azchel!" Kate called with a grin.
Azchel let out a twitter of delight at the nice attention his trainer was giving him for doing so well. It felt good to be praised.
"Use Screech!" Kate put her hands over her ears as Az took a deep inhale and let out an ear-piercing cry.

Mephistopheles attempted to draw some shadows up to him to block out the noise. However, his body still wouldn't listen to him.

Azchel drew in some of the electricity emanating from the surrounding towers and combined it with his own electricity. Creating a large electric orb in front of himself, he hurled it at his opponent.

The ball of electricity struck Mephistopheles square in the chest and he fell the the ground. He tried to gather up some shadows, but failed..

Mephistopheles sighed as the attack hit. "This combat will only grow into a farce if I continue to attempt this losing battle. You have bested me." With that, he bowed before shadows erupted everywhere.
Mephistopheles appeared beside Lenore who got to her feet. "Better luck next time, Mef." She gave him a small smile as they left the arena.
