Personality + Bio:
Eluf was born from two foreign parents that met one another by chance. His mother had visited "Saudi Arabia" during a very important trade made from her family to another. Deciding to go along with her parents for the trip, she met Eluf's father from those who were receiving the prized horses that were to be sold. It wasn't love at first sight, mind you, in fact she held some animosity towards the younger man due to his rather cocky, and show-going attitude. But after years of visiting one another, and writing letters back and forth, a love began to blossom, over their mutual love for horses and the world of equestrians.
The two moved to Sunderland when Eluf was just a bun in his mothers oven. They'd bought land there, and wanted to strike out on their own with a conjoined business. With the help of their family's, the young couple was able to make a name for themselves.
Growing up, Eluf was always surrounded by animals, and especially horses. He learned how to care for them, read them, and ride them. He was a natural, really. As such he helped with the family business as best he could. With a kind, and gentle spirit, Eluf was always willing to do what he could to make his family proud, and extend their good name. They weren't a poor lot, but not extensively wealthy. They were able to splurge here and there, and have more of the nicer things in life, but weren't the type to flaunt all that much... well, his father was. But after settling with his mother, Eluf's father held back from his usual flashy ways.
Eluf enjoys company a great deal, but he also likes solitude just as much. Being an only child does often make him feel lonely since his parents are usually so busy with the business, but he's able to quell some of it by spending time with the horses, cats, and dogs. He had a few friends growing up, but none really close to him. He took to drawing after awhile, and after seeing an artist in town one day. Quite mature for his age, Eluf doesn't mind going into town to handle some trades with customers in place of his parents. In truth he really likes the interaction, and to see all the going ons in the city. It's also how he's come to terms that unlike the norm, he's not been ever attracted to females in a romantic sense. He very much enjoys their company, and quite likes their nature, but hasn't felt any sort of attraction. In truth, it's been for the same sex. It hit him while going through puberty, and has been a secret he's kept very well hidden from his parents. When fix-ups are attempted, he merely gives simple reasons that he and the lady in question are much better off as colleagues and friends. The girls rarely have any hardships about it, due to how kind he is towards them, and usually are able to become pleasant acquaintances afterwards.
