Then things got busy.
That’s what usually happened when one made plans. One made plans and then THINGS happened that made one have to push them off for a bit. Molly’s brows were furrowed and a frown pulled at her lips as she walked down the hall from the cafeteria, a potato chip bag in hand. She did tentatively make plans with someone…but she never wrote them down in her planner…which of course meant she had a harder time remembering…and then of course, THINGS happened.
Today would be a lucky break though.
Luckily it was sight recognition that caused Molly’s mind to jar as she saw a tattered Death coat. “WILSOOOOOOON!” Molly cried down the hall, so excited about remembering her plans now that she raised her voice and waved her arm frantically.

By now, Wilson had pretty much forgotten about that walk on the beach. With seagulls. He was far too preoccupied with the fact that he was no longer a PMSing woman. Now he was just himself. Wilson would never ever ever ever not appreciate females, especially ones with big busts because wow big melons were really uncomfortable.
Maybe that’s why he was heading toward the kitchens and hoping to borrow it for some time to make some cookies for Em. The recipe was in his hands as he ambled down the hall in his usual backward walk. His gaze scanned the ingredients and directions repeatedly until he heard someone yelling his name. Looking up, Wilson stuffed the paper into his jeans’ pockets. The cookies could wait. He turned around and waved. “Molly! Hey! How’re you?”

After Wilson returned her greeting, the Mist trainee was practically skipping down the hall the rest of the way to meet him. She came to a stop before him, rocking a bit on her heels as she smiled widely at him, waggling her fingers in another greeting as well. “ Oh, I’m doing wonderful! Thank you for asking! How are you, Wilson? I hope I wasn’t bothering you!” She’d remind him of their promised seagull filled walk here in a moment.

He just smiled even more. “That’s good to hear! Oh, me? I’m just tired.” A beat later Wilson hastily added, “From the beach mission and that weird effect. It was a—uh—emotional rollercoaster ride, I suppose?” Awkward laughter. Both arms were raised now. He shook his head. “Oh, no! Not at all. I mean, I was going to make some cookies, but that can always wait! I just wanted to make some because I wanted to eat some, you know?"

“.. O..oh! Yes…” Molly had totally been there…in the background…somewhere. “ I understand…um…just work on getting a good night’s sleep soon, okay? Getting a good night’s rest is very important and hopefully you’ll feel better!” Oh that Molly, so helpful. “ Oh, cookies!” She cheered. “ Well…I really hope I wasn’t interrupting! I actually wanted to know if you would like to take that beach walk…um…only if you want to though, and you’re not busy!” Molly waved her hands a bit. “ If you are though, that’s totally okay!” Molly understood the siren call of cookies.

Because a good night’s rest would totally patch up his friendship with Dakota. His expression was hesitant, but he smiled back at Molly anyways. “So I’ve been told. I’ll do that.”
“Oh no, it’s alright!” Wilson waved his arms at the mist trainee. “I can make cookies anytime. They weren’t very important anyways. I was just, in the mood for cookies, you know?” He paused. “A walk on the beach?” The young man gave her a blank stare, but a few seconds later his face lit up when he finally remembered that particular tweet. “Right! That thing. Gosh, I’d totally forgotten about that until now. I’m really sorry about that. I would love to take a walk with you.”
