Akira woke up Sayoko by grumbling and growling in her face, it was hours past sunrise. They should have left the area a long time ago but for some reason the mare decided to sleep in. Sayoko opened an eye and glanced at the little bear but then shut her eye again and ignored her friend. This only angered the little bear even more, the area was strange to him and he didn't like being here longer then needed. Akira began to nuzzle and head butt Sayoko, any attempt to try and wake her would be good, didn't matter if she would be angry or not.
Sayoko shrieked with pain as a loud crack echoed around them in the dark and empty woods. The little bear had really clocked her a good one with that last head butt, she was certain that if she opened her eyes that stars would be forming in front of her eyes. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and the world slowly came into focus, she glared at the bear with anger. "Why on earth! I was sleeping rather well!" She yelled at Akira, she had no patience now, she had only wanted to lay there and sleep for a little while longer.
Akira grumbled and bounded out of the woods, hoping that the stubborn mare would follow. Sayoko huffed and stood up to follow after the bear, she did have to stretch first though. She yawned as she stretched, really feeling good about how much sleep that she was able to get in. "I'm coming Akira." She sighed and wandered out of the woods expecting to see her familiar waiting for her there. "Akira?" She looked around in panic, the little bear had only been inches before her, he couldn't be that far away right?
