Spiritual Councillor

Duties:
Regularly consults with the Mshauri Seers regarding any unusual visions. Is also responsible for monitoring the festivals and traditions of the pride such as Mating and Adolescent Rites.

Duties:
Responsible for overseeing security. This councillor monitors the borders, co-ordinates the guards and ensures that new guards are trained in accordance with what the pride needs.

Duties:
Ensures that all hunters have ample territory to hunt within, as well as ensuring they pull their weight when bringing in supplies for the pride. Generally speaking the Bahari'mtoto have ample supplies so the hunting councillor can concentrate their efforts on assisting with the hunts.

Duties:
Oversees the Bumani as they construct the various 'buildings' that the pride need. Should any other issues arise such as fallen trees and boulders, the construction councillor aims to co-ordinate the Bumani to ensure these obstacles are moved.

Welfare Councillor

Duties:
Oversees the Mwani, Hlare, Pomiki and Pombuka. He makes sure that the pride are healthy and happy. If supplies are low it's his responsibility to ensure that more are acquired through discussions with fellow council members. If the pride are also unhappy, he has the power to confront whoever is responsible, including the pride leader!

Diplomacy Councillor
Name: Neoni'linga (~Masamune~)
Duties:
Oversees and co-ordinates the Ambassadors within the pride. It is the duty of this councillor to select the correct Ambassador for the intended location. Once that ambassador has been dispatched, they must then stay in regular contact and if need be, pass on important information to the Pride Leader.
In times of crisis, the diplomatic councillor has the ability to recall his ambassadors or to provide additional guards.
If it is vital that the pride leader be present in another pride for negotiations, this councillor has the power to request it.

There are currently no "Jana" in the Bahari'mtoto as Ram is without a mate and his only daughter is an adult and has attended her equivalent of the Ba'Ushufo.

The Pombuka and The Pomithi"A responsible lion or lioness, who can handle a multitude of cubs and keep them entertained, they are the main child-minders in the pride. Families are expected to raise their offspring, but prides are busy places and children can't always accompany their parents! It is therefore the role of the Pombuka and Pomithi to educate the children while their parents are performing other duties.

The Pomboo"Cubs, juves and adols alike, anyone who has not attended Ba'Ushufo. After Ba'Ushufo, an individual is considered mature enough to take on responsibilities that aid the pride, but are still seen as precious youngsters and are therefore expected to still spend at least some time with the pombuka and pomithi of the pride, possibly helping with the younger generation...
