Florian gently lifted up a wilted rose from her not-so beautiful garden. The roses had once flourished here and grew quite well. The petals vibrant and the auromas to die for, but lately the flowers didn't want to blossom and the bright colors were slowly fading away. She sighed soflty as she lifted her hoof from the flower and watched it fall upon the ground. She had given them everything--anything they needed to grow; food, water, and some extra TLC. But nothing. Maybe Florian wasn't one with a 'green thumb'. She frowned and shook her head before turning around. Just looking at the wilting beauties was making her more and more drepssed so she decided to walk from the garden.
"Did you hear about the rock that fell from the sky?" a bird chirpped, flying past Florian. "I did, I did! Quite wonderful, actually!" another bird answered. Florian had overheard the gossip of the outerspace rock, but didn't truly believe that it held magical powers--it was just a rock. Rocks surely aren't all that magical and don't posess any supernatural abilities except silent and still.
Everyone was so excited about the event and even some tried to find it, but ended up empty handed. And then there were some that just thought it was foolish enough to try to climb the trecherious mountains. However, it wasn't the adventure that dampened Florian's spirits, but however, it was coming back empty handed. Her roses needed her more than ever! If she ws to leave than they would simply die.
But they were already dying...
The young mare sighed deeply as she dipped her head down and pulled her ears back, paused and leaning her body up against a tree.
What was she suppose to do at a time like this?
