Okay so any thoughts for the rp?

i think that's earlier than what Lav had in mind, but the creation of the first avatar sounds interesting to me. It could deal with energy bending declining due to the rise of elemental bending, perhaps Avatar: The Last Energybender. Lots of ideas of my own now. What about you? What'd you have in mind?

Ok, i kindof forgot about this for a while (sorry...) But your idea sounds interesting and it gets me thinking, so i will make up for may tardiness now. Check this out:

Before humans, the world was mostly ocean, and was cared for by the lion turtles who maintained the balance between nature and the spirits by bending the energy of living things. As land masses grew, the spirits realized the World needed new caretakers, so the humans rose to take that place, and the lion turtles taught them to bend energy and maintain the balance as they themselves had done for eons. Humans took their new place and became powerful benders, but regardless were still low in the hierarchy. The spirits looked down on them and became arrogant in their power and authority. Many humans came resent being slaves to the spirits.

Then they noticed that energy was not the only thing that could be bent. They saw the moon bend the tides of the ocean; the rocks and soil, bent by badger moles; dragons commanding fire; and the very air itself, bent by the sky bison. Humans realized if they could learn to bend energy, they could learn to bend the elements as well. Rather than simply caring for the World, they could command it. The remaining energybenders discouraged this, seeing it as a misuse of bending and claiming that it was not humanity's place to control the forces of the World. But the element benders refused to listen, using their new found power, they rebelled against the spirits. For the first time, war came to the World, spirits trying to maintain their command over humanity, elemental benders trying to win their freedom, and energybenders trying to maintain peace and balance.

As the war escalated the World Spirit saw that action was needed of this conflict was to be resolved, but also saw that both forces, spirit as well as human, were only attempting to shift the balance in their favor. No entity either purely spiritual or purely natural could bring balance, only a being of both could. And so, the Spirit allowed itself to be incarnated as a human: The First Avatar.
