Hello there,

My name is Damian Harold, the head of a prestigious Academy in the pacific. It has come to my attention that your child has been recommended for a scholarship within my academy and, as such, I have reviewed your child personally. By my view, they are indeed fit for entry on campus, but before we get into those details, I'm sure you would like to learn more about our little institution, wouldn't you?

Now exactly why is my academy based in the middle of the pacific, and why is your child receiving an invitation to somewhere so secluded? Well, both of these questions can be answered with our history: 20 years ago, there was a great feud between 3 great powers... well, to be more precise, they were different worlds. The Human world, the Realm of the Demons and the Angelic Plateau. These three worlds were on the verge of a full scale, 3 way war that would ultimately end all life in existence. This was when the Human representative declared that a temporary truce be put in place, to see whether the three races could in fact live side by side. While the Demon messanger simply laughed in his face, the Angelic emissary thought the proposition over and negotiated the terms with with the human. "The experiment will take place on our planet: it will be fair ground there for all races to participate, but I think that only two races should participate at first... if all three are in the same area at once, there'll definitely be blood." Before either of the races could throw up their demands, the human continued. "And it -must- be with our youth." At first the demand was confusing, but then it started to make sense. The current generations could by no means get along with eachother: the past has taught people that well with ethnic differences. And so began the construction of the island and the facilities that would house this new social experiment. After a year of construction, the island was fully operational, and the three agreed that Angels and Demons should be the first to enter: since these were simply youths, they decided that the island should take the form of an academy with a functioning town to simulate a normal living environment.

At first there was deep tension, but as the year wore on, the groups began to accept the others: violence was strictly prohibited and communicating between different races was encouraged. By the end of the year, the 1'000 students left for home. There weren't any tears, but at the same time there was no blood shed, either. The experiment continued the next ear, with a majority of the students returning again... of course, it was mainly due to the beaches and the amazing quality food, plus to get the hell away from their parents: but it was this second year that bore the fruit of triumph. Small social groups developed and clubs began to grow within the school, though most of them stuck with eachother. This proved that the school was a success, and ever since then, Demons and Angels have been studying together in mixed classes. Though until very recently have there been Humans studying here, as tensions are still very stiff.

It is this year, 2032, that the school welcomes the people of it's own world to study here for it's kinds second year, though only by invitation of course. Also, within the envelope you will find:

Please consider allowing your child to study with us, as we're certain that they'll love it here. Sincerely,

Welcome to DHA Island, also known as the Demon, Human and Angel Island.

Rules and Guidelines

Every institution, no matter where it is, has a set of rules and guidelines that govern how it's students should conduct themselves, and they tend to vary slightly. This is why I've included a set of our rules within the envelope:

I am the head of the Academy, and thus, the equivalent to god: As headmaster of this fine institution, it is my duty to make certain that everything on the island runs smoothly. That also means that what I say is final.
Literacy skills are mandatory: The minimum standard that I expect from each student is semi literate to full literate. That means when assessments get get handed out, I would like to see, at the very least, one paragraph written. I do, however, understand that some students are susceptible to writers block, but this excuse can only get you so far.
Romantic relationships are allowed on campus: The point of this island was to try and see if the three races could, in fact, live in harmony. As such, unlike most other campuses of this calibre, romantic relations are more than welcome. However, if things start to get to the 'next level', please take it somewhere more private. We encourage relationships, but we don't want to see, hear or be able to make out anything adult-rated.
Mind control is prohibited: The use of mind control is 100% prohibited without consent from the student prior to the act. Without consent, you cannot control another Human, Angel or Demon under any circumstance.
Students attacking one another is unavoidable at times: As this school consists of three races that have been brought up to absolutely hate one another, there are of course going to be brawls between students. Although, the demonic code states that when two brawlers make an agreement with one another for a fight to the death, no outside force can interfere. As we must accept the customs of three worlds, we must abide by this law: When any fighter kills -without- making an agreement with the brawler they have slaughtered, that student will face -extreme- consequences, from permanent expulsion to suffering the same fate as the victim.
Students cannot spend their own money: As we know that some of our students will come from very privileged backgrounds, we agreed that all students must earn a common currency found only on the island. It helps remove the social hierarchy within the school: take note, however, that each student starts off with 100.00 Student Credits, or SC. Earning SC is very simple: based on their efforts around the school they can earn it by either doing odd jobs around the island, helping another student or by simply getting good grades. The currency system will be explained in depth in one of the next documents.
All Gaia TOS apply here: We also have another set of rules that we have name the 'Gaia Terms Of Service'. These are applicable to every institution in any world, so it goes without saying that they apply here, too.
Haggle the headmaster: The school is obviously expanding now that we're introducig new students this year, so there will be quite a bit of errors made on the my part. But be aware that I'm only one man, and alot of the process' in the school are decided by me, so if there are any issues please inform me. And for those interested, I'm also recruiting hands to help establish this location as a place where all can thrive. After all, one man, Demon or not, can only do so much

Please note that the rules are subject to change at any point, though you will be notified if such an event should happen.

Info on the island and School Facilities

Now that all the official stuff is out of the way, let us go onto something a little less serious.
User Image
The island where DHA resides is quite a sight: even thought the island was created artificially, it doesn't deny the fact that it's an absolute tropical paridise. The island even has its own ecosystem based off of nearby islands, too. Ah, the glory of magic and technology, am I right? It's not just the island that's impressive, either, but what's on it: see, the island is fully equipped with facilities like a desalination plant for drinking water, an airport and dock for transport, even a small town for an inland economy. That, and to supply the students with SC and the ability to spend it, of course, if they have the time.
User Image
User Image

We also have a variety of dwellings for the students to utilise, though all are fairly small. These houses are fitted with the latest technology and furnishings, and can be customised by the student via our islands furnishing store, though the houses are only capable of housing two students. But take note that there are plenty of these dwellings, so if the student wishes to be alone that they can do so. However, there are guidelines concerning student placement:
- At the beginning of the year, all students are placed within their respective race in separate areas. This is a requirement due to the hostile nature of first-time students.
- As the year progresses, and we see notable friendships develop [hopefully], we will allow students to move in together if they so wish it.

On top of all these wonderful things, we also have the most advanced learning facilities the three worlds, combining technology from all three plains of existence and putting them to use for everyone to use equally... for those who are capable, of course. From the most advanced computers and up-to-date text books, to precision made kitchen utensils, industrial grade wood and metal crafting tools, master-crafted alchemy tools and even the purest, most high quality materials and ingredients to exploit the full potential of these tools. All within a state-of-the-art building to ensure all the students feel right at home.

Notable Students of Each Race

ALRIGHT, NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

I've decided that putting a limit on the amount of human students is a bit of a waste of time, and as such I have lifted the limit. This includes humans and human-other hybrids being allowed, although take note that the human population will comprise of -only- the human characters or certain exceptions such as pdragons character Kin. There will be no other human NPCs on the entire island, only the students. If there are at some point, then they'll likely be under that single persons control for a single one-off event, and even then the person must contact me beforehand.

General Information

- You don't neccesarily -need- to be an Angel or a Demon in this RP. Each race has their own hierarchy of beings, and they all exist with one another. Here are the beings that you may play as:

Angelic Plateau

- Angels
- Direwolfborne: The angelic form of Werewolves, these blessed winged beasts are more resemblant of their namesake than their demonic counterparts. They are, however, very large beings; the size of a small car, in fact, so they are still creatures to be reckoned with. Within the hierarchy, Direwolves are either workers, warriors or tribal beasts that freely roam the forests of the Angelic Plateau, the latter being the purest blood. If you want to know a bit more about Direwolves, refer to Golden Ice Cream Cakes profile.
- Blessed Demons: Demonic beings that have gained passage into the Angelic Plateau through supreme acts of purity, whether it be selfless sacrifice or living a life completely devoid of sin. These beings are awarded a place while maintaining most of their previous features, with the only difference being either feathered wings or a simple cross on a part of their body. This trait is also passed down to their children.

Demonic Plains

- Demons
- Werewolves
- Fallen Angels: A title given to Angels that defy their kind in the most extreme way possible: whether living a life devoid of purity or committing an extremely large amounts of sins. They are cast from the Angelic Plateau and sent directly to the Demonic Plains, where their wings are charred black or take the form of bone. In some cases, their feathers are replaced with dead scales or bone chippings, making them stand out among the demons. Again, these traits are handed down through the bloodline.

Common species

- Beastkin: Cats, dogs, bunnies, squirrels, anything that's half humanoid and half whatever animal, they're all known commonly as Beastkin. These people are very common on two mystic plains of existence. While they bare the same abilities as their animal counterparts(like enhanced speed and/or strength, sense of smell, etc.), and share some physical traits for example, ears and tails, maybe a horn or a nose), they are unable to hide these physical traits the way an angel, demon or wolf-breed can. Their form is permanent, and as such, the only way to hide these traits is by covering them or physically removing them.
- Nekos and Kitsune: These beings are similar in appearance and ability to Beastkin, but they are different in that they can transform into their beast-form and have a very high ability in magic and the arcane arts.

Student Credits(SC)

To prevent students from being overly powerful with riches and such, the school uses its own currency which cannot be bought or exchanged known as Student Credits, or SC. The more experienced students of the academy often refer to it as 'Shrapnel'. Every student, after they check in at the office, is issued both an ID card and a portable card reader. The card itself also acts as a debit card for purchases, whether it be for the stores in town, the schools import service, replacement or repairs of equipment or to some of our soon to be added facilities. All students start off with 100.00 SC, regardless of previous grades or SC for those who are attending again. Just so we're clear, SC works the same way as normal Human currency. 1.00SC = $1.00, in other words. But as we said, no points can be brought with currency from either the Human, Demon or Angelic realms.

Earning SC is very simple: it can be done by either earning good grades, or by taking up a small job in town. However, you also earn SC by helping out people of the other realms. We do this as a reward for working with other races, not as a get rich quick scheme, which is why we monitor the island 24/7 from our security headquarters. Cameras are placed all over the island, so we -will- know whether or not the situation was indeed legitimate. Also, make a friend from another world, and we'll give a single one-off bonus of 5'000.00SC. Very generous, I know, but the whole point of this academy being built was to promote this sort of thing. And if you happen to get fairly romantic and earn a boy/girlfriend from another realm, well, there's definitely a special gift. Sadly, we're yet to hand out a single one of those gifts, but take note that it's VERY impressive.

Food is provided by the school for no cost whatsoever, but if you wish to get a bit fancy and want to lash out for something a little more pricey, you'll need to spend SC. For example, if you want to bake a cake, and you want to get extra strawberries, you'll need to buy them yourself.

And also, a big thankyou to ChibbiKairi for allowing me to reproduce this RP. The original RP went down thanks to people losing interest, but I was so addicted t the idea and asked her to re-make the idea personally. Funny thing is, this is the second time I've helped helped her out. lol

Finally, any querries as to any part of the RP, whether it be story, races or the money-earning process, don't hesitate to contact me. Once again, thank you very much to everyone and, err, yeah. Let's begin smile

UPDATE
Wow, I've never seen this much support for a RP in a long time: seriously, in these last 3 days there's been a constant, steady flow of requests to join the RP, all of them great. If interest continues like this, I might just make a guild out of this! Haha, I knew this RP had potential when I first helped ChibbyKairi all that time ago blaugh

Thanks for the support everyone! Now, let's start:

-"You know what? I tried to be nice, I tried to be political and where the hell's it gotten me?"-

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗
A small aeroplane was making it's way to the island. In fact, it was only the second time in the history of the school that this particular plane made it's way to the island; the first time was last year, when only a single human student made their way to the school. This year, though, there were supposed to be more than that coming. It was nearing the last two weeks of Summer vacation and all of the new students were starting to arrive, whether by boat, plane, underworld portal or from the sky itself. Royce sat inside the cramped, noisey cabin: the earplugs in his ears were a sign of the intensely amount of sound travelling through the cabin. *sigh* seriously, wasn't there a better plane to hire out? This damned school better be legit... Being bored out of his mind, he looked through the cabin once more. The panelling was shoddy, but somehow it managed to stay in one place. The seats were cracked vinyl with holes in the edges, showing the cheap and discoloured foam hidden inside. There were no working seatbelts, there were no glass panels in the windows, there was nothing that would even suggest this plane would stay intact for any longer than an hours flight. Yet somehow, he'd been in here for well over 5 hours, with no sign of the machine falling apart. Hell, Royce bet he could pay a hundred bucks for the entire thing and still get ripped off. Looking over to the pilot, the first thought that popped into his head was 'smuggler': He was in his a Jamaican man in his 30s, full dreadlocks and had a very heavy build. Definitely not what someone you'd expect to fly your child to an island, especially in this deathtrap. "HEY! HOW MUCH LONGER UNTIL WE REACH THE ISLAND!!!" The man made no response to Royce: great. You'd think he'd at least give me a walkie talkie or something, jeez. But nooooooo, they cost $20 at the second hand store, that's too much for a drug smuggler. As the trip wore on for what felt like weeks, a green light lit up above his head. "~Alright, mun, we're nearing da island now. Take a look out da window if you like.~" The intercom sounded so cheap that all he made out was 'island' and 'mun'. It was a surprise that it was able to go over the sound of the engine. Royce wasn't sure what to expect after all he's been through, but when he saw the island he was speechless: all around the place were white, sandy beaches, a mangrove swamp, lush forest and even a mountain- a damn mountain for christ sake! And the view gave him an excellent view of both the town and the school, both of which looked brand spanking new. Okay, they either have no reason to hire this guy, or perfect reason... hell, maybe this crap about Angels and Demons is true, hehe. Royce was like the rest of the Human world: Angels and Demons belonged in mythology, not on a tropical paridise. He wondered what made his step-father jump to the chance, then grew a smile. Then again, he -is- easily impressed.

As they landed on the tarmac, the smile on Royces face was almost meeting at the back of his head. He could finally get the hell out and far, far away from this plane. The large man jumped out of the pilot door and pulled off his earphones. "How was da flight?" "s**t-house, the in flight movie sucked and the peanuts wouldn't open." "Hahaha, never heard it put like dat before!" Royce jumped out and grabbed his things: a laptop bag, a hikers backpack, a sleep-in swag and a rolling carrycase. The first three he carried on him. The landing strip looked very new indeed, and it was nearby to a dock aswell. In fact, the pathways intersected after a few hundred meters. "Hey, you need a hand dare, mun?" Royce just smiled like it wasn't the first time he was asked that question. "Nah, I'm good. Thanks for the concern though, mate." There wasn't even a single sign of strain in his voice, and as he walked the man was impressed: he expected this sort of thing from someone like him, not a 17 year old kid. Something caught the attention of the man and he quickly turned to the unaware redhead. "Hit da deck!" Royce turned in the direction he was pointing to and saw... wings? Before he knew it, there was a massive gush of wind that knocked him down to the ground. Another 5 sets of wings flew over him, causing him to look back up and confirm what he saw. He could swear on his life he just saw a person attached to those wings! "Damnit, stop harrassin' ma customers, ya brats! Here, let me help ya up, mun." What the hell did he just say? As Royce was getting hauled up, he just stared in the direction of the wings as they flew off in the distance. "Did you just say... kids? You mean-""Didn't you read da letter? This school is made for da three races: Humans, Demons and Angels. Dose kids are just some of de students dat study here." There was no way in hell that those things were Angels and Demons. Absolutely no way. "No way. There's no damn way those, those things are some mythical beings!" The man simply smiled. He removed his shirt and, like out of a horror movie, jet black bat wings sprouted from his back. Royces heart skipped two beats: that was all the proof any human being would ever need. They were way too big to be fake, well over 3m long for each wing. "Believe me now?" Royce just nodded as the man handed him his bags again. He was absolutely speechless. "Take my advice: stick to da forest path and go straight to da offices first. Dey'll give you everything you need dare, mun." "Uh, sure." The man looked at his face and started to chuckle. "Don't worry, from da way you look, you can definately hold your own with dese guys. And besides, I hear dare's more Humans coming, too." Royce found it disturbing the way he said 'hold your own'. The only times he's ever heard it put that way was from his combat instructors and step-dad. "... how many fights happen here?" The Rasta turned around and smiled coldly: "Let's just say dat I wish I was here... And by de way," Royce tilted his head. I wasn't joking when I said you look like you could hold our own, especially wit how easily you're carrying dat stuff there. You'll earn your place." "... thanks?" The man simply turned and laughed again, walking back to his death trap. "Well at least he doesn't need a parachute when that thing falls out of the sky." He turned around and started walking towards the pathways.

Beneath the veil of starry sky,
As cold as winter's darkest night.
It's there you sleep, silent and deep,
You're all alone.

Oralie wearily sighed to herself on the boat she was on that was traveling to the island she was to stay at while she attended her new academy. She peered over at the other students on the makeshift, wobbly boat and figuratively shrunk in size at the notice of their wings and other animal-like features. Some looked like dogs and cats while others appeared to be more angelic or demonic. But it was just surprising to see this because Oralie was a regular human girl. She really wasn't aware of these types of people besides that fact that they were mythical creatures in fairytales. 'I guess what the principal said in the letter was all true. Mom, dad, I'm going to have an odd life here...'

"ʂome of them get very neurotic about not being to ShapeShift- it's a dream that many of them hold very very dear to their hearts...

A large, white figure was fast approaching the island. It had wings roughly six meters long and a large body rivaling a polar bear's. The wind ruffled its white fur as it soared closer and closer, slowly dropping in altitude. Just as the creature was about to hit the ground, it reared in mid-air, flapping its wings in an angle that drastically slowed its descent. A large wolf now stood on the island's dock.

Glass's landing was mostly silent, but a thin cloud of dust and sand floated aimlessly in the air due to the wind brought about by her wings, which were now folded neatly on her back. A mixture of scents swirled together, giving her a sneak peak of others on the island. The ones that stood out the most belonged to angels and demons, but there was a faint—very faint—hint of human in the air. 'Twas no surprise, considering that this school was built for angelic, demonic, and mortal creatures.

Large paws lightly padded the ground as she languidly made her way to the forest's path. How did Glass know where she was going? Why, instinct of course! And the typical scents found in an office that's location was now known thanks to her overhearing it from two demons.

Other curious creatures had stopped to glance at the large wolf. Some wore an expression of surprise whilst others remained impassive. Glass ignored them for the most part. They could stare all they wanted, but it wasn't like that was going to do anything.

A rather petite angel had mirth practically gleaming from her ocean blue orbs. At first, she seemed hesitant to approach Glass. But after a few second of contemplation, the angel jogged towards the direwolf. "H-hey," she called out, wings fluttering nervously as she tried to catch Glass's attention.

The direwolf slowed to a halt and tilted her head to gaze at the angel that now stood directly behind her. "May I... touch your fur?" asked the angel timidly. Glass swayed her tail, allowing it to brush the girl's hands. Once that was done, she darted off towards the forest. Glass did not want to attract anymore attention to herself.

Sprinting through the pleasantly dense forest was as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.  Despite her large physique, Glass was quick, agile, and flexible, allowing her to traverse the area without even panting for breath—since breaking into a sweat wasn't physically possible in this form. Her large paws thudded softly against the ground and dug into the dirt. As she increased her speed, the sound grew fainter and the imprints became less noticeable.

A white figure shot out from the forest, landing a few meters from one of the offices. Glass tentatively sniffed the air, noting the human's scent had gotten stronger. No... It was different. Definitely human, but muskier. The earlier had a more... Feminine scent.

Two humans, huh? mused the canine. She shook her body, removing foreign objects she had picked up during her run. This... 'school' was definitely going to be quite interesting.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗
As Royce made his way to the forest, he kept getting an uneasy feeling about the whole idea of living among Demons and Angels. Then again, he -did- only just discover the existence of those two races. "Damnit, I hope this is the right way... then again, there was only one pathway." Thankfully, the pathway led straight to the front entrance of the main arrivals office. He walked to the front desk and saw a woman with the purest white wings. Plus she was beyond beautiful... he almost found himself entranced before he shook his head: it almost looked like a red mop was shaking through the air. "Umm, excuse me," The woman looked over to him from the computer and smiled. "Oh, you must be Royce. The principle wants to guide you to the units personally, so if you could take a seat." Royce smiled and turned around before thinking about what she said. "How do you know my name, anyway?" The woman just kept smiling at him, adjusting her wings as she stood up. "It's not everyday that I see a Human walk in here. And besides, we're only getting a select few of your kind here, in comparison to the 2'000 of the other races, so you -do- stick out like a sore thumb... No offence intended, by the way." She walked away into the back offices and left Royce by himself. Royce took off his bags and set the swag and roller case either side of him as he took a seat.

As he sat there, the man in question walked into the lobby area, making Royce stand up and extend his hand. "Ah, the man of the hour. I'm Damien Harold, the principle of the academy." He took Royces hand and gave it a firm grip: he definitely looked exactly like the man from the photo. "Pleasure. You wanted to escort me to the dormitories?" "Hehe, I'm afraid we don't have dorms here..." Here we go, cheapo mode: activate- we provide small housing for each and every student." Knew it-"Wait, what?!?" The vice principle was surprised at the reaction. "Yes, that's right. We don't have simple dormitories for our students because it would likely add tension and stress, increasing the chance of brawls and such. No matter what race, we all like a bit of space to call our own, am I right? So, we decided that pre-built, demountable housing is the best solution." Royce was impressed at just how much consideration he was taking to the students, going to the extent of importing demountable housing... but then he remembered the pilot. "Wait, if you could afford this much, than why did you hire a man with such a shoddy plane?" "Oh, Steven? He just loves that plane. We've offered to replace it on multiple occasions, since he's the only one we can trust with keeping the information of the school a secret in the three worlds, but he's turned down every one. I don't even get how that thing's still able to fly... then again, with how he treats it... Ah, but I digress. Please, follow me." As Damien walked out, Royce at least understood why he was even on the payroll. As they walked to the housing areas, there was signage indicating where each race was divided into, and even more directions into each area, almost into streets. As they walked, the first thing Royce noticed was how small this place was compared to the Angel and Demon areas. "Well, this is where you're going to be staying, Royce." The building was small, but it was definitely big enough for a single person to live in. Even big enough to house two people comfortably. Now the boy was impressed. "Here, let's look at the house." Royce had just realised that the bags were still at the arrival office. "Umm, I need to go back and-" "Get your bags? No need, my assistant has already carried them here." He then noticed that his bags were on the front porch. Impressive, to say the least. "Come on, the interior's just as impressive." As they walked in, the first thing Royce noticed was just how modern it was: LCD TV, gas cooktop, knotted pine furniture and a leather upholstered couch. The only thing it was really lacking was trinkets like paintings and maybe a pot-plant or two. The bedroom was a little more bland, being a pallette of white and pale brown sheets and walls, and simple table lamps, and was just large enough to fit a small table to study with. Again, nothing to really state that anyone does or has lived here. As for the bathroom, everything was very simple: a combined bath and shower with fogged glass, toilet and a vanity and sink. The window was a high-set piece of fogged glass that looked 100% fixed, perfect for deterring prying eyes. But then he saw a third room and investigated it himself: empty. "Uh, what's this area for?" Damien smiled at the redhead. "Whatever you want: a study, second bedroom, personal gym, dancefloor, anything that's within reason... hell, maybe even a 'dungeo-" "Keep going with that sentence and I'll cut them off." Royce easilly picked up on jokes like that and always stopped people mid sentence, regardless of who it was. Damien just laughed at the response he recieved. "Pretty quick response time, there... but I've also got a question."

Royce turned to the headmaster and saw him rummaging through a black bag of his that was wrapped inside the swag: the assistant must have searched his stuff. "What kind of student brings a military grade axe and knife to a school like this, as well as all the rest of this... stuff?" The bag contained all sorts of stuff, from a fishing handreel and tackel box, to rope, duct tape, flint, and a first-aid kit among other things. And the accused weapons: but to the uneducated man, that was a common mistake. "Well, what do you expect me to cut fish and chop wood with? Those things are needed for a survival kit." The man was still not quite convinced. Royce didn't look irritated, since he actually got asked this alot. "Alright, here's the deal with that bag: notice how some of the stuff in there looks like the sort of thing would take camping? Like the rope and the fishing line, even the stick of flint? Well most don't realise that the basis of survival and camping are very similar: the only difference with camping is that you bring everything you need to spend time in the wilderness in comfort. But there's also alot of stuff there that's not really needed in a camping kit. For example, the duct tape and knife." He started using hand gestures resembling movements to help emphasise a point: it was also a sign of great certainty and knowledge. "There's going to be some times when you can't practically use a knife, like when you're hunting for fish or an animal for meat, but you still need something to catch an animal for food. It's times like that where you'll need a spear. Use the duct tape and connect the knife to a long, straight stick or stalk of bamboo, and bingo: a hunting spear. That knife there, being a military grade weapon, is designed to take an absolute thrashing and be used for survival purposes. Hunting, too, so it can be brought by the general public. And that axe has more than its fair share of uses, like a climbing aid for example. Plus it can do some things that a knife simply can't do thanks to its size and weight." Damien was absolutely astonished by the wealth of knowledge that Royce had, and he bet that the by was only scratching the surface. Plus the fact it was kept in his swag supported the argument. "Well, I think that you've more than demonstrated what you use this equipment for. I'll allow you to keep these, then." He laced the items back in the bag and zipped it up, handing it back to a now smiling Royce. "If you ever want to give lessons on survival, just give me a call. I'm sure you'll fit in well with the staff." "Hehe, nah. I'll stick to camping for fun, thanks." Just before Damien walked out, he stopped at the doorway. "Oh, I almost forgot: You're ID and reader, plus the keys to the house." The man pulled out a card with Royces picture on it and a portable card-reading device, plus a set of keys. "Keep those on you at all times." "Sure thing." Damien then smiled and walked outside. "And don't be afraid to socialise with the other races! We need all the data we can get on how humans get along with those from other worlds!" Royce couldn't help but feel like an evil scientists guinea pig. But at least now he was in his house. He unpacked his things and started getting changed into something different, mainly thanks to the horrible smell of mould from the plane. He took a shower and changed into a t-shirt and denim jeans, then found his pair of thongs* in his carrycase. After that, he slipped his wallet, phone and other items into his pockets before he locked the door and walked out. He also had his black backpack with him and headed out to the beach: after a long trip like that, a little fishing would be nice.

Eumi hated portal travel. She would have been happy enough to just travel by human means to DHA island, but even a social outcast had to keep up appearances for her family. A dark gap in space opened just off the dock, and a dark leather dufflebag flung out of it carelessly, with another following it after a second. Hefting up three other dark suitcases, Eumi stepped out of the portal and into the bright new world, wearing a black visor, a dark purple summer dress and a pair of black laced boots. She lifted a hand to wwave goodbye as the portal snapped shut behind her, as if saying "Good ridance." Eumi felt the same.

Oblivious to some awkward staring, Eumi walked down the path purposefully. With two roller cases in each grip and another duffle bag over her shoulder, the girl tromped along, clicking her tongue every time her other two suitcases apported along with her. It was an odd sight to see dufflebags disappear and reappear further down Eumi's path. Teleportation is for transporting inanimate objects, losers. Of course I'm not gonna carry 'em.

Eumi shouldered her way into the office and dumped her bags onto an empty chair. She eyed white winged angel behind the desk, obviously not intent on welcoming Eumi back this year. She was an angel, after all. "Not to be rude, but can you get off your touche and just get my ID and key," sighed Eumi. "That's 'Eumi Dreldan'." The angel nodded and handed Eumi's card and key over. The angel tried to salvage the moment with a smile. "Thank you for returning this year." Eumi took the items with an eyeroll and didn't respond. Her bags were already gone, taken to her housing while her back was turned. Her chakrams and needles were still packed in there, but seeing as the headmaster knew how she felt about fights, and how she fought, he wouldn't have them confiscated.

Eumi, instead of heading straight to her house, went out to wander. She would unpack later that night, or tomorrow. She wanted to visit the beaches again. Last year, she and another demon made a rope swing, and she'd already planned to start off with a splash. She had a bathing suit underneath her dress. She trotted off the path and into the forest with no one the wiser to her secret destination. Eumi was glad she'd worn her boots as she hurried through dense, prickly weeds and ivy. Soon enough she arrived at a rocky section of beach, with a drop off. The turquoise water looked cheerful. Eumi looked around until she spotted the sturdy year-old rope and quickly untied her boots and threw off her sunhat. She grabbed onto it without hesitation , and took a running start. Her bat wings flapped out, hurling her off the small ledge. She howled enthusiastically and let go, tucking her wings in. She dropped with a canon-ball splash and resurfaced, grinning.

-"So I not only discover that Demons, Angels and various other beings exist, but I'm about to spend an entire year studying with them."-

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗
Royce had wandered the beach for a little while now, and finally found a decent spot to lay down his line in the beach. There were rocks around the area and there was a good supply of baitfish swimming in the water. Perfect place for catching a good sized fish. He took off his pack and pulled out the handreel, and cast it out to the water. Then he simply took a seat on the sand and waited for a bite... well, that was the plan, anyway. Hearing a howl just down the beach, a girl with batwings could be seen flying through the air, and into the water. While it was all fun and games for her the fish didn't agree and, before he knew it, they were gone. Well, there goes that idea. Ah well, can't be helped, I guess. It is a public beach. He left his line in the water with the bag on top of the reel. With how this was looking, the fish weren't coming back any time soon, so he may as well take up the principles advice and try to socialise. When he walked over he noticed the rope-swing, too, so this girl must be a previous student. It looked moderately new, too. "Hey there." Royce stood from atop the ledge she came from, looking over her from dry land. "Thought I should come around to say hi. You know, try and get my name around the school here? Name's Royce." He had a light smile across his lips, and his body language lacked any aggression whatsoever. As naturally as it looked on him, it was more of a reflex his dad had hammered into him: a less aggressive stance is less likely to get you bashed or seen as a threat. He never really took notice of how he did that anymore after 10 years of lessons.

Caligon Ryzer-Neko

"Yo pops, you sure this is safe for me to be in here?" Caligon asked anxiously. The science department wanted to try some kind of teleportation cannon on him. His destination was the DHA, but the device was still in development. This was its first trial run. "Don't worry so much, meowz!" His father called up to him from the control panel. "It should be fine from here on out! We're launching you... NOW!" Caligon barely escaped the barrel before the warp set in. When he opened his eyes, he was above the island... Way too far above. "Alright, Caligon, calm down. You're only descending very rapidly and you can't light fire at such high speeds... Or can you?" He tried the impossible, only to succeed. His flames were bringing him to the island at a much slower rate than just the free fall, and as he got close enough to see people he saw someone familiar as his flames gave out. "E-Emui! Catch me!" He called out, realizing he would fall in water. He could swim, but the electronics in his bag would short-circuit. Caligon didn't want that.

"Hey there."Eumi startled and bobbed below the water for a moment before popping back up. She kicked around, facing the voice above her. She scanned her ledge to see a carrot topped boy examining her from his vantage point beside her rope swing. "Thought I should come around to say hi. You know, try and get my name around the school here? Name's Royce." She blinked, then grinned snidely. "Geez, a stalker already? Sure I'll make you infamous," she called light heartedly. She lazily stretched her wings out and laid back in the water. "Anyways, I'm Eumi. Come on in. The water is fiiine-" "E-Emui! Catch me!" Eumi glanced up, suprised at the distant holler that sounded familiar. A pinpoint speck in the sky blazed like a flame then went out as he fell rapidly towards her. She screamed in what sounded like delight and rage caught in one breath and pointed at the falling person. His bag warped into nothing and reappeared beside Royce with a pop and the smell of ozone. Then there was a great splash that filled Eumi's mouth with water. Sh glared at the water, waiting for the neko-demon to resurface before she ruthlessly shoved his head back under. You idiot! It's Eumi! What the hell were you doing, you could have killed both of us, Caligon!" She let him up for air, scowling at him, then glancing at Royce almost apologetically. Her voice, though, was still sharply annoyed. "Well, check his stuff! Is it okay?"
