 ~Alex walks into the area around the lake. He met a couple of females earlier that day he had flirted with them then left them after a little while to head to the lake. he thought that he knew what the females thought of him with his golden orange coat and apple markings on his hip, his brown hair and long braid down his shoulder he smirks and walks to the edge of the lake. He winks at himself and thinks about his mother. He had left her a couple of days ago and didn't really know what he wanted to do next. Sure flirting with the females made him happy. however he thought of his father an the fact that he was doing the same thing that his father did before his parents met. He sighs was there someone out there, was there more to flirting and flashing his good looks he didn't know but he hoped so.
~ he lets his mind drift and thinks about his siblings and his mother, she was pretty mare, golden and tan always happy and looking after her mate. She was loving and kind. He hoped that he would be like her someday. It was getting dark, the sun was starting to set it would be a purfect night if he had someone share it with. He shakes his head he had time for that later~

 Calli enjoyed coming to the lake, especially with her little friend Chantilly. The two made their way up to the water's edge, and the little bear plunged right into the water, splashing Calli who stood on the shore. She laughed, her high pitched laugh resonating off the water. The little bear was having fun by sending pawfuls of water through the air at the mare. Calli stepped back out of the line of fire and smiled at the bear. "Now, cut that out you. It's no fair when you have paws and all I have are hooves. I can't throw water at you from out here."
She giggled at her and looked around the area, wondering if there were other Soquili at the lake this evening. She spotted a golden hued stallion standing not too far from her, staring at his reflection in the water. She thought she'd go say hi while the bear was swimming. "I'm going over to meet someone. You go play, darling." she smiled at the bear and then walked over to the stallion. "Hello there. I don't think I've seen you here before. I'm Calliopi, and you are?"

~Hearing a voice he looks at the mare that walked up to him. He was so out of it that he didn't hear her before now. He puts on a roguish smile~ "Hello Calliopi, yes I'm quite new here. I'm Alex pleased to meet you." ~ He looks at her tiger strips and her long braid it was cute and he was feeling flirty her strips and pelt colors blended and made her very pretty. he like her choker around her neck and her blue eyes where different from his golden ones. He looks around then at the sun again~ " It's a beauful evening, are you alone?" ~ he smiles again, then looks towards the lake where he thought he heard someone splashing around in it~

She watched him as he looked her over. It always made her feel good when a stallion paid attention to her. "Don't stare too much," she teased.
She lightly chuckled, and looked towards the sun as it was lowering in the sky casting shadows across the land and giving pink hues to the clouds above. "Yes, it is beautiful. I enjoy watching the sunset, especially when I have company." She smiled at him then.
"Oh, no, I'm not alone. My friend Chantilly is over there swimming in the water." She looked to where she'd left the bear, but she wasn't there. She paused then, looking around for where she had gone. "Well, she was over there..."
Just then, a white figured moved beneath the surface of the water and sprang up sending water flying at the two soquili on the shore. Chantilly had snuck up on the two while they were talking, and splashed water towards them as she broke the surface. She giggled and splashed there in the water, proud of herself at having pulled off her little joke.
Calli, now soaked with water, gave the bear a stern look. "Now, Chantilly, you apologize to the nice stallion. Maybe he didn't want to get wet." The bear froze and slumped where she stood in the water, lowering her head and averting her eyes. Her ears went back and she said quietly. "Sorry mister. I was only having fun."
Satisfied with the bear's appology, Calli smiled at her. "Thank you, now you can go play. Maybe try and catch a fish or something?" That would cheer her up, she thought, and just like that, the bear was happy again. "Okay!" she said as she trod back out to the deeper parts of the water, searching for signs of a fish.
Calliopi turned to the stallion. "I'm so sorry about that. She's a spunky little bear; likes to play pranks and have fun.I hope you're not too mad." She gave him a warm smile, hoping to smooth things over.

~Alex smriks at her tease~ "you are quite beautiful, your black, white and mult colored strips make you shine like the heavens." ~ He relaxes a bit more~
~he looks at the sun and notices the hues of pinks and purples blended well with the strips on her.~ " company is always great. no one should be alone on a sunset like this." ~ he smiles back~
~ He looks around to lake for Calliopi's friend, he was glad that she wasn't alone~ " that is good that you have someone with you...." ~He blinks as water hits him. It wasn't cold out in fact it was surpise and refreshing he blinks and looks at the bear watching her lower her head " it is qute alright, Chantilly," ~he looks at Calliopi she was soak and he was he smiles at her~
~ he watches Chantilly go and try to catch fish the relationship was kind of cool between them~ "Doe's Chantilly like to play?" ~He eyes the bear watching her~
~he smiles ~ " I'm not mad, that was kind of fun, even if we are soaked it is wroth it because I'm getting to know you and Chantilly." ~ he smirks then looks at the sun then back at Chantilly~

"Wow, you're quite the flirt, aren't you?" She smiled, soaking in the adoration. She was dripping with water, but had to admit, that it did feel good. "You are right, the water is quite refreshing, though very surprising." She lightly chuckled. "That little bear keeps me on the edge of my hooves, that's for sure.
"So, would you like to go sit and talk? Chantilly is occupied for now, so we wouldn't be interrupted."

~he smirks and nods~ " My mothers tells me that is going to get me to trouble someday." Yes it was, I like water. the surpise was unque I don't thing I ever had a bear do that to me before." ~he smiles at her light chickle it was cute and he didnt want to get caught staring her her again~ "I bet she does, it must be fun to have someone that keeps you on hooves."
" Yes, that would be nice." ~ He heads for a nice dry spot under a oak tree with a good view of the lake and the sun and continues to sink to the gound~

She let him lead the way to a shaded area near the shore. There were some tasty looking plants growing here in the shade so she bent to take a nibble. As she chewed, she looked out over the water and around the shore, noticing a few other Soquili and a couple wild animals. 'The lake must be a very frequent watering area for most', she thought.
After swallowing her snack, she spoke. "Your mother seems very smart. I have to agree with what you said. I know I've flirted with the wrong stallion once or twice and almost gotten myself in trouble with an angry mare who didn't like their mate being flirted with. Those were some sticky situations to get out of. So, you might want to make sure whoever you're chatting up doesn't have a mate first." she giggled at her memory and her hypocrisy. "I can't say I always follow my own advice though."
"So Alex, what brings you here?"

~Alex smiles and watches her eat. He then watches as something in above them moved in the trees. He looks up and sees two growing eyes stare back at him. He didn't sense danger from this creature so he relaxed the creature would come down if it wanted to. He looks at the lake and sees other soquili so he relaxes more.
He nods. " that is true, so do you have a mate or someone in your life that is spacial?" He smiles and watches her. He was lucky so far he hadn't had situations yet, he was still young and liked to test the waters so far he had not had any.
at her question he stops then smiles at her~ " Well, I'm here to meet others flirt a little maybe and find a special someone that I could spend the rest of my life with, someone that I devote my life too and help, someone that would show me that I was more like my mother. That I had a kind heart. You?" ~he smiles again~

Feeling a bit uneasy at his response, she shied away from him a little, trying to look pre-occupied with watching Chantilly out in the water.
"That's a lot to try and accomplish for just one visit to the lake. Why not set your goal for something smaller? Perhaps just making a friend could be the first step in many goals towards your bigger one of finding a mate." She offered more advice, hoping she didn't hurt his feelings by saying so. "I am confident to say that just by the short time I've talked with you, that I can tell you have a kind heart. It doesn't take much discerning to tell that of someone."
"Chantilly and I come here quite often to just play in the water or enjoy the cool air that blows here. It's one of my favorite places." She paused. "I also like to meet new Soquili and make friends." She paused again, "Now that I think about it, I think I met Chantilly near here. The poor dear had her paw stuck in a hole in a log and I helped her pull it out. Ever since, we've been the best of friends."

~Alex watches her and blinks maybe she was right and he was asking too much from a first meeting with mare he looks sheepish she was right and there was no way he would meet someone that willing to spend her life with him after one meeting. "Yes, a friend would be good, someone I could hang out with and get to know." ~He listens to her advice and she was just beening honest he could respect that. " Thanks." ~He smiles~
~He listens to how she met Chantily it would be nice to have friends like them and maybe he could come back and hang out with them. he smiles and looks at her~ " this place is quite smoothing, I think I will come here more to make friends, who knows maybe we could end up being friends." ~He smiles again and hears another snap as something from above lands inbetween him and her. He blinks as he looks at golden and white pelt with a red feather in its head and golden eyes, he steps forward to check this creature out.~
