Welcome to Clubs! You will serve, during the fieldtrip,
as delegates of your faction representing the desire
to continue the longstanding peaceful condition of Wonderland.

The trip will begin with Ecstasy at the Fun House,
so please make your way there.

Please expect to spend the afternoon with a light snack
and a tour of Clubs. After that, infants will be assigned
sleeping space in the Circus grounds; in the morning,
a vehicle will pick up all the delegates and drive them
to the border.

♣║ɡѻ!▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The invitations trickled out from the Red Queen's palace any way from standard mail by carriage to delivered-by-pigeons: whatever it took to invite the youth and infants of Wonderland to visit the factions and ideally impress upon everyone the stretch of the Red Queen's rule. That was her unspoken goal, after all. And it had made sense, at the time, that one of the factions should offer up a guide. It had not, however, been her intention to send Ecstasy along with the children. That was a poor notion no matter who one asked, and yet, here he was.

It was utter chaos in Clubs. The invitation instructed the kids to find their way to the Fun House buried within Summerland, and have their guardians drop them off there. The sun was fading in Summerland, and that meant that all the partying was starting. At the massive doors of the golden gates, a clefable conjured up will 'o wisps and the surrounding teens laughed raucously. Past that, vendors with anything from icecream to pills painted like flowers lounged around and turned on shop lights, preparing for the night. Summerland's gates never really closed, and the park didn't really wind down: most of the equipment ran itself. Efficient, perpetual.

It was even worse at the Funhouse. Ex was nowhere to be found, but a disheveled and tired-looking HootHoot adult with round gold-rimmed glasses and soft, downy looking hair leaned on the doors and looked up and down a clipboard. "Oh, welcome, welcome! ... Ex has shut himself in the Funhouse, I'm afraid, and while we were supposed to have snacktime before heading out, um... there has been a complication," he recited to the gathered guests, pushing his glasses up the rim of his nose. His eyes were a striking blue, with some hint of honey-gold at the center. "If you want to eat, you're going to have to catch your food!"

He wasn't kidding. A closer inspection of the area would reveal that the snacks, which were in rather advanced self-recycling packaging, had been hacked (probably by Ex, which would explain why he was so heinously absent to his own greeting session). They were running around, rolling around, you name it: beverages were giving parkgoers sass while snacks were trying to wriggle their way up pants legs or into open doors. It was mayhem, and the hoothoot didn't seem to care about any of it.

He just stared at the infants expectantly, as if saying: What, don't you want to eat?

♣║ɠɐϻE ʈ𝔦ϻE▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The Setting: Outside the fun house. Maximilian is waiting. The robots have malfunctioned, sending Ecstasy into a fit of laughter. Maximilian is trying to explain that he needs to rein in Ex, but the infants should please catch their own snacks.

In order to do battle with the snacks, the infants will have to use their wits o Ao
1} Roll 1D100 in your first post: match your results to the list of possible snacks and beverages respectively!
2} Roll 1D4 per post, each post at least a paragraph long, to see how they fare per snack. You get two tries to secure an item!
xxx1 :: Pass! You successfully dominated the snack/beverage you rolled for.
xxx2 or 3 :: CHALLENGE ROLL O AO The snack turns on you, and demands you play a round of truth or dare! Please post your choice between the two in bold and any bright colour. If you win, you captured the snack!
xxx4 :: Fail :((( Roll for a new snack ((1D100)) and try to catch that, or else go hungry!

xxxxx♣║roll match▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

xx1-15 :: Summer Pudding; berries cascade out of the side when you bite in. A successful capture on the first try means something special...?
xx16-20 :: Pink Lemonade; Facey's boys can consume this if you win it on your first try.
xx21-40 :: Lonely Cherry Timbit; Yeah... there are a lot of these running around.
xx41-50 :: Novelty Chocolate Raisins; these are beyond weird, and they come with a little miltank dispenser. Yeah, I don't know either.
xx51-60 :: Bubbletea; nobody knows what the hell flavour it is, but if you taste it maybe you can be the first to figure out.
xx61-70 :: Half-eaten bag of chips; who could say no to a bag of chips someone already rejected? Man, you should have looked a little harder.
xx71-80 :: Energy drink; who would feed this to an infant?!
xx81-90 :: Spam roll; it's sushi... and spam! It's either super appealing or revolting, depending on who you ask, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
xx91-98 :: Mystery coin; you can only assume these are like... chocolate coins in foil, or something?
xx99-100 :: This snack is packaged so weirdly that you can't seem to tell what's inside... guess it's a surprise?

[[OOC: This is a rough post to show you how it's done, I'll fill in more detail later for my own purposes.]]

Logan arrived without his father Briar, as he lived outside the gates but close enough that it was an easy walk. Even for an infant. He swished his tail back and forth, waiting impatiently. Delegates? Logan huffed under his breath, his ears drooping. He didn't really want to delegate anywhere, but it was rare that he got a chance to explore the other factions in depth.

However, the afternoon was starting stupidly: he certainly did not want to have to catch snacks. But that was exactly what he'd have to do if he wanted to eat, apparently. There was a beverage rolling around under the Funhouse steps, so Logan tried to catch it.

[[OOC: This is another example post, to show the steps; I'll be editing it later to be more in-depth. For now, here we go!]]

Logan had never consumed an energy drink before. Perhaps it was something about the label that made him really want to try it... or maybe he was just feeling rebellious. Yeah, no, he didn't factor in the drink's ability to cackle madly and then roll under the building itself, leaving tiny Logan frustrated and looking for another snack to trap.

The bag of chips spun around and, if it had eyes, was probably staring him down. "Truth, or dare?!" the snack asked him with its tiny tin-sounding voice. He didn't think all the snacks sounded so... lame. In fact, he was fairly certain if the energy drink had spoken, it would have sounded practically studly.

Logan kicked at the bag of chips half-heartedly and finally replied: "I guess I'll take "truth," then?"

LOGAN CHOSE "TRUTH."

Philip always had a taste for grandiose entrances, at least when it came to travel. He seemed to bring Bigsby everywhere in the cabins of carriages, and out from the bowels of just such a carriage the Phanpy boy hopped. Bigsby had been extended an invitation, from the Red Queen, no less, as Papa had informed him when reading the invitation, to explore the various factions as a delegate for Clubs. Bigsby had tried and failed to understand what a 'delegate' was, but he had sprung at the opportunity to get a look around the other factions, an opportunity to see how they partied down. The door of the carriage slamming the second Bigsby was out and the rattle of the thing pulling away not a moment later said that Papa wanted some quiet-time, too.

Bigsby's feet slammed on the ground with as much thunder as can come from a small child. Straightening up, he caught a glance at Logan in his periphery, but before he could pay his friend (begrudging though the boy sometimes seemed to call Bigsby that) any mind, his sight snapped and riveted onto something... something... delicious. Something delicious and running.

Time to nab him some eats.

The delicious thing was, upon closer inspection, actually a delicious dessert-type snack thing, and Bigsby intended full well to put it into his mouth as soon as possible. He also discovered with this further inspection that the pudding was trundling away, seemingly on its own, and as quickly as possible. Perhaps because Bigsby’s closer inspection OF the pudding was performed in mid-air, as the phanpy boy launched himself at the snack. Something about the ballistic blue missile of raw childish energy must have intimidated the thing, and it managed to scoot away before Bigsby could grab hold of it.

With a tumble and a thump, Bigsby landed and rolled back to his feet, his temporarily lost bearings from the hard fall already streaming back as he charged again at the fleeing pudding. He thundered forward, his plodding footfalls closing distance faster than the seemingly legless pudding could create. He reached out again, this time so sure that he’d be filling his belly in no time at all, when the snack turned towards Bigsby and an angry little voice issued from it. ”Truth… or dare?!”

Bigsby stopped short and stared for a moment, unsure of how to respond. ”What… what’chez… Truth or dare? Do I get to eat’chyez if I say dare? Yeah, dare, dare!”

Bigsby chose Dare!

Malo was eager for this. He had been wanting to explore Wonderland and all its factions for a rather long time, but Preston never had the chance to take him. His eyes were bright as he wondered what the day would hold. Preston had taken him to Clubs that morning on horseback and dropped him off at the gates, warning him to be on his best behaviour before galloping off, back to hearts.

But Malo was not honest. Especially not with Preston. "I'll be so good they won't even know I'd ever been bad before!"

Malo approached the table. The boy sitting there looked oddly similar to Preston and wondered for a time if they could be related. His attention was broken when he heard the hoothoot mention the run away food. Looking all around, Malo saw Logan take off after a bag of chips. Then there were more boys, all his age, all chasing snacks.

Upon seeing them all scampering around like bugs, Malo's first reaction was to laugh so hard he fell onto his back and kicked his feet in the air, little tears rolling off his cheeks. The prospect of others running around, some hardly able to stand, trying to catch bickery little treats was so tear-jerkingly amusing that he had to take a chuckle break.

But when a tiny miltank dispenser ran across his skyward tummy, the litwick startled and stared at it with determined eyes, still snickering. He floated after it, hands open and taking grabs at it.

Malo drifted lazily above the little miltank dispenser. He could have reached down and caught it at any time, but where would the fun in that be? He let it get a few feet away, then easily closed the gap. When it ran headlong into the side of something and fell on its back, he picked it up and let it hurry on. It was a plastic cow full of chocolate balls. It wasn't getting away from the agile little ghost.

But he grew bored of his little game quickly and finally clasped the struggling dispenser in his hand, delighted at the method of which it gave him his treat- pushing it from its bottom when he pulled the tail! He sampled a few, then frowned. Raisins, his favourite. Blech. Opting to cheat, he only sucked the chocolate off and dropped the fruity turds on the grass behind him, floating back to the table where Maxamillion had been hosting from and sitting on the edge of it.

The invitation arrived just in time far off into the depth in the Diamond's faction upon the farm. The old Shiftry was the one to have obtain the letter from a dove seeing that it was addressed to his son Briar. However the young Leafeon didn't care to go to the event that is occurring for he wanted to help his father. Dmitri has to harvest the Verdant gijinka right out from the fields and drop him off at the Clubs Faction for he wanted his precious boy to make some friends with all the other children. After a long ride upon horseback, they had arrived upon the brilliant grounds of the Faction where Briar was left from his father to enjoy the exploration of Wonderland.

Bright green orbs peered about his surroundings as he fixed up his work clothes and dust any dirt that hid its way in his golden blonde hair to be presentable among the other children. As to his knowledge, he is the only Diamond 'delegate' here. He's not sure exactly what it meant but being the only one made him seemed to be very important and made him very nervous about for he only hoped not to mess up. Soon, he has seen three other children here; a young Growlithe boy, Phanpy, and Litwik. But before he said his hellos to them, his stomach spoke before him. Uh-oh, it's time to get something to eat . . .

"Oh n-no . . ." Briar said as he saw the children who were catching their snacks acting . . . weirdly. They actually spoke! He thought that his leafy ears has been playing tricks with him but Briar was wrong. It had made him incredibly worry as he hoped that the snacks won't harm them but he has his own worries now seeing that he was presented with a shiny coin as a snack amongst the others that ran off. His leafy ears twitched slightly, wondering what it is but before he could figure out, the little coin spin around in his hand and faced him which made Briar yelp in surprise. He should have known it would happen to him!

'Truth or dare?', that was the mysterious coin has spoken to him in a tiny voice which Briar barely heard. For a moment he ponder, wondering what to do seeing his little leafy tail swishing from side to side until he made his decision. "I guess truth. That seemed to be safe . . . right?"

Briar chose Truth!

Zale clung too his guardian tightly, small hands gripping the muscular leg. Sully was obviously trying to pry the boy off long enough so he could slip away, but Zale was having none of that. They had spoken before, Zale had been told what was happening. Yet, the little hooded boy wanted none of it. He was scared. All these other kids... he was so very scared. It showed, his hood covering his face, hiding the little wide-eyed expression he held. As Sully led him into the room he shuddered violently, pressing into his guardian.

Suddenly, his attention was caught from him. Food. Everywhere, frantically jumping and hopping and taunting.... it enticed a slight giggle from the green haired boys lips. The food mocked and taunted, and he left Sully's side, hands clambering out for a particularly nasty food, a cup of Summer Pudding.

It teased Zale, drifting in-front of his hands before rushing off. Zale barely acknowledged Sully when the pink haired man said his goodbyes, rushing for the pudding. Not only did it look absolutely delicious, it was fun.

The second Zale leapt he knew it'd hurt, his foot catching on a chair and causing him to tumble roughly towards the ground. The pudding was gone when he looked up, and a sharp exhale left his mouth when he realized that not only had he lost the food, but Sully was nowhere to be found. The boy was close to letting out a shrill scream, drawing his legs up into his chest, hood firmly being held over his head by tiny hands. Now that he had little to distract him he realized just how loud it was here, and how crowded it was.

It was only when he realized that the population was mostly children did he relax, eyes raising and narrowing slightly. Suddenly, he was analyzing the others, sizing them up and trying to identify what species they were. Sadly, it was rare for Zale to be allowed outside Spades, so he only knew a handful of species, none of them matching the children he saw. His eyes landed onto Logan, eyes widening when he saw the tail, and then flicking aside when his attention was caught by another food that was dashing near him.
