Got what he deserve, let's be honest.
You took someone's life who did nothing to you. It wasn't self defense, it was stupidity. You took him away from his wife and children, and now you've got to pay the consequences.

It's a harsh punishment, but people really need to see how dangerous the issue of texting while driving is. No one that does it thinks about it until something bad happens.
