Shadow Lark

This kimeti buck is a strange mixed bag of emotion. He's very manic, switching from excitement to extreme depression in the blink of an eye. he loves to collect things, mostly shiny things. He buries them in a special place near the cave where he resides. To anyone else these things would be meaningless, but to Shadow Lark they are his greatest achievement.

When he becomes extremely agitated, his other side comes out. Shadow Lark refers to this event as 'the voice'. It tends to nag and taunt him, turning his attitude dark and unpredictable The physical signs of his shadowy self emerging are hard to miss; twitching ears or tail and a sudden drastic change in attitude.

He is quite a shy kin, preferring a mostly solitary life. He rarely makes good friends, though he is not unfriendly when he comes upon others. His disposition often confuses other residents, and makes him a little more difficult to get along with. Despite all of this, Shadow Lark someday hopes to find a lifemate and have a clutch of his own.

Omens From Ashes

Omens From Ashes is one special Kio. He is a little bit paranoid and a lot superstitious, and he sees signs in everything. Unlikely to do anything without an omen to guide him, this kin spends a lot of time waiting. Other kin think him strange, though some of them have been known to come to him for advice, or fortune telling. He has a talent for seeing signs in the ashes of things burned, though whether he's making it up or not is up for debate.

Snail's Pace

Snails Pace does things in her own time. She simply cannot be rushed. Taking things slow is just what she does. This annoys some kin, but Snails Pace tends not to notice.

She is a studying healer, and can often be found gathering plants, roots, and bugs from the swamp to take back to her home to experiment with. Kin are welcome to seek her out for help finding herbs, or to ask her about a specific plant or treatment. Just don't expect a quick answer!
