Last time I checked there are only two Homestucks in the guild, but hey, making a thread couldn't hurt, right? www.mspaintadventures.comI'm both a Leo and Cancer due to a really neat coincidence that I am born in the midnight between the two days that separate them, but I'm technically a Leo. Coincidentally my two favorite trolls are Karkat and Nepeta, just like my zodiac. And like how I want to stay Cancer I also liked Karkat better, but that's only because (spoiler) Nepeta died. My favorite human character is Rose because BLUH BLUH HUGE WITCH. I'm indifferent to Dave, unlike many others. Discuss, I guess?

Would you care to explain where you are talking about? Is this a book or game you're describing? And what is a homestuck?
Out of curiosity which day were you born? They all have overlap periods.

Therapist Hope Would you care to explain where you are talking about? Is this a book or game you're describing? And what is a homestuck? Out of curiosity which day were you born? They all have overlap periods. Well to explain, Homestuck is what's called a webcomic. Fans of the webcomic are also called Homestucks. It starts out with 4 kids named John, Rose, Dave, and Jade (One introduced at a time) playing a game (any details are spoilers). After 5 acts (equivalent of books) a new group is introduced, the twelve trolls, each one representing a zodiac sign. (If memory serves right it's just above 5000 pages) It's really good because the plot gets really complicated and complex later, and the flashes in it are amazing. Not to mention parts of it act like a game.

also the first act is so phenomenonically boring that almost all new readers quit before finishing it.
I'm born between 24th and 25th of July, no one actually have the exact time, but I'm registered as being born in 12PM of 24th so I'm technically a Leo.
And yeah the spoiler is so heavy it's nigh impossible to talk about it without spoiling anything.

Moon at Dawn also the first act is so phenomenonically boring that almost all new readers quit before finishing it. This is true. I tried reading it, but for the life of me I couldn't complete the 1st act gonk Since I have nothing to do this summer I'll pick it up again.

♋ Prince Yuui ♋ yum_puddi _________________________________________ yum_puddi Well you can always skip to Act 2 right away and consult the MSPAwiki when an unfamiliar term come out. I skipped act 5, and pretty much all of the dialog of the "purple girl" and "Mr. Vanilla Milkshakes" just because his font is annoying to read. Then I come back later when I catch up with the story.

Hmm, that sounds like a good tip. I wasn't sure if Act 1 was ever going to pick up in pace but if it's skip-able, then dammit I'm skipping it gonk My experience with series-type things is that some of them you have to start with book/part one, and some of them you can jump ahead. I wasn't sure about Homestuck so.. For example, I'm on book 4 of the Earth's Children books by Jean M. Auel and it's so freaking boring that I want to skip it altogether because I already know that the main characters complete the journey. However, I accidentally started book 2 of Stephen King's Dark Tower series and I was so horribly confused that I ended still thinking 'What the ********?'. Book 4 was the same way, and now that I know that a lot of the characters die, I don't even know if I want to read books 1 and 3... D:

♋ Prince Yuui ♋ yum_puddi _________________________________________ yum_puddi Homestuck is actually really confusing, but from what I know reading Act 1 won't help much because the chronology of the story is messed up anyways.
