Glancing down at her map and then back up at the building. This HAD to be the right dorms. She'd already made a fool of herself in the library and then again when she had been trying to find the dorms, it was going to be an extremely long day if this was once again the wrong building.
Sliding the door open to the common room she took a quick look around. So far it seemed right, Maybe this day was looking up. Pulling her skellyphone from her pocket she glanced down. Maybe she should finally tell Julian she was here. But it was kind of late...maybe she'd just call him tomorrow...she knew better than to walk and look down at the little screen at the same time. Bumping in to a wall or falling flat on her face was one thing but when she bumped in to another ghoul, she blushed deeply and bowed her head
"Oh...oh....jack...I'm so sorry I...I really should have been looking where I was going...oh...are you okay?!"
Great...she thought now she was going to be making enemies all over again.

Sin normally wasn't down in the common room so late, but she had finished visiting Rosc and she longed to re-familiarize herself with the demon dormitories after having been away so long. She had turned to head back upstairs, not to her room but up to visit Julian near the attic. She had a lot of questions for him and she was curious about the ghoul he had texted her about meeting on the last school field trip.
She blinked as she felt a light bump against her wings and turned. Oh...another student up late, someone new...or new to her. She felt like she was starting all over again and tried not to sigh. Her lips curved into an easy smile, the usual default for meeting new people.
"Not a problem..." She turned and eyed the map in the ghouls hand.
"Are you lost?" She asked uncertainly, wow why did that line always feel so familiar? She held back a laugh and then cleared her throat. "Sorry, I'm Sin Err...and not that you don't belong here, what I meant was did you need some help finding your dorm room? Are you new?"

Lumikki winced at the question, she was getting asked quiet often it seemed if she was lost, she must have looked terribly lost for everyone to be asking that of her. Hearing the ghouls name her eyes widened, a slight squeak of utter mortification. Oh great, she wasn't supposed to meet his friends not until after she actually let him know she was here. And this ghoul was so pretty, but she wasn't the one he liked right...wincing she couldn't remember but quickly recovered, "Oh uhm...Hi Mrs. Err. I'm a little well uh...lost...kind of..."Frowning is scolded herself for being rude. "I'm sorry...My name is Lumikki...and yeah...I'm lost...I...was supposed to call Julian when I first got to the school...but I got so distracted and a nice boil named Ren showed me around the major areas. Then I went to the library thinking about how to tell Julian I was here...and got caught up talking to another student...and now I'm meeting you and"Letting out an sigh, as she nervously fiddled with her pendent, she looked at the other ghoul,
"Could you maybe not say you met me...I think he might get upset..."She wasn't sure what Julian had told his friends about her but she was sure she was digging herself in to a deep hole right now.

Sin was a bit surprised by the wide eyed look on the ghouls voice, what had she said? Well it didn't look like she was offended, but a bit...flustered. She slid a strand of her hair back over her shoulder and smiled.
"Call me Sin, It's nice to meet you Lumikki..." Hmm why did that name sound...oh Julian? "Julian? Oh you must be the ghoul he met during the last school field trip! Relax I was just on my way up to visit Julian, he won't be upset. You really ought to take the night to settle yourself in anyway it sounds like you're a bit overwhelmed."
She looked the ghoul over again and tilted her head. "Hmm...you and I should go the Maul sometime..."
Snapping out of her thoughts of dressing up the other ghoul, and maybe getting Julian to dress nicer as well, she smiled.
"So where are you trying to go? Finding your room? Let me help, Julian wouldn't forgive me if I just left his ghoulfriend stranded."

Lumikki nodded at the being overwhelmed she was so excited to get here she really didn't think the school would be that much bigger or even that much more different.
"The Maul?"
She asked a little hesitently, she wasn't sure about that last time she went shopping it didn't end so well. She wondered if what she was wearing wasn't good enough looking down at her clothing she frowned slightly her mother probably would have said the same thing. She was always getting on her for dressing better. Snapping out of her thoughts when she heard Sin say ghoulfriend.
"Wait Ghoulfriend...uhm..no I mean I'm not his ghoulfriend...well I mean I'm a ghoul..and a friend I think...I mean I..."
Fiddling with her necklace a lot of than normal she blushed a few shades darker as she looked around. Trying to think of something to change the subject. It wasn't that she didn't like Julian in fact she liked him very much but she just didn't know where she stood with him.
"Oh! Uhm...what's the prom? I...I transfered here from an all ghouls school...a small one at that I've never heard of a prom before. And I keep seeing those posters."
She had seen the poster before and figured it would at least be a change of subject hopefully it didn't have to do with Julian or else she would just die on the spot.

"Yes the Maul, we have a huge one right near campus and you and I can have a nice day, just us ghouls...it'll be fun." Sin could tell she was making the other demon nervous though. It seemed she would never manage to sound soothing, ah well. Imitating her mother's perfect demonic grace and poise had fallen low on her priority list.
When Lumikki started to stammer Sin knew she had chosen the wrong words. Okay so Julian hadn't said she was his ghoulfriend, but it was obvious that he wanted her to be. He had seemed so sad about her not being from Amityville, and now here she was.
"Right...that's what I meant...a friend...who's a ghoul." She tried to amend, but it seemed a bit late now and then she jumped into Prom and Sin grinned.
"Oh you'll LOVE Prom, it's this big dance and everyone goes and we have a great time. This year it's gonna be a masquerade, you get to dress up a bit more. I'm sure Julian will be begging you to go with him...you know as a friend...who's a ghoul. If he doesn't though you can still go! I mean there is nothing wrong with going to a dance alone, in fact I went alone last year....and I'm going alone again this year." Wow Sin, way to sound pathetic. Still she didn't want Lumi to think that she HAD to go with someone or not attend at all.

Lumikki tilted her head to the side, the prom it was a dance...as she heard the other ghoul try a little hard she couldn't help but frown maybe this was the ghoul that he liked, she made comment she was going by herself.
"Uh..do...do you not have a boilfriend or..or anyone that you would like to go with I..I mean."
She felt a little stupid asking but she really couldn't remember what Julian had said about his friends. She knew he liked one, and the other one had a boilfriend. Wait did the ghoul say dresses? Eyes wide she looked at her,
"Dresses? I uh...I don't have very many of those...I mean I have one...but uh...Julian said its uhm...but..oh...maybe we could go shopping..."
Her ears dropped slightly, maybe shopping with some one that wasn't from her clan would work better. But she was dying to know,
"Uhm...what makes you think that Julian would want to ask me...I mean you are so very pretty...wouldn't you think he might ask you...I mean since you...well..."
Okay she was totally putting her foot in her mouth now. But she was actually very curios about the ghoul she'd just met. Julian had told her a little about his friends. But it all seemed to just melt together now that she was face to face with one of them.

Sin felt her cheeks flush the pale violet color darkening slightly around her cheekbones. Going alone was her choice, not because she was dateless! She could easily have lined up any number of boils who would probably trip all over themselves to take her...maybe...she hoped. Still that wasn't the point, she loved Rosc too much to go with some other boil even if it was just as friends.
Her eyes narrowed for a moment before she relaxed, Lumi hadn't meant to offend obviously. She had gone to an all ghouls school and this whole thing had to be tough on her. Sin still remembered the agony of the Demon Academy and she had only been there a little over a month.
"Don't worry, I can help you find a nice dress, you're very pretty I'm sure all sorts of styles will look good on you." She found herself able to be a bit kinder to the ghoul because she was a new demon, and Julian liked her.
"Julian wouldn't ask me out as his date because he knows I have a boilfriend, Rosciel. Rosc just doesn't like big crowds so I go to most of the dances and parties by myself. Besides it sounded to me like Julian really likes you, so if he's smart he'll take this chance to ask you out." Sin was a bit flattered that the other ghoul thought she was pretty. She had learned a lot about being humble, but her vanity and cockiness hadn't totally vanished.

"Oh...Oooooh!"
Lumikki felt totally stupid this was the ghould that had the boilfriend, now she remembered sort of. She knew Julian was a little frightened of her boildfriend. She realized she must have sounded quiet ignorant when she made comment about her being dateless, wincing again.
"I...didn't mean to offend you if I did...I...I thought you were the ghoul Julian told me about the one he liked...well I mean...he likes you too but...I'm sorry..."
Wow she normally wasn't this bad around strangers except for boils...who was she kidding she normally didn't talk to strangers. Looking down sheepishly,
"I'm not used to other ghouls being nice to me...but uhm...I think you might be mistaken about Julian liking me I mean...well...he did kiss me...but that was because he thought he wasn't going to make it..."
She winced at that memory, the destruction of the four clans still stung but she was doing a little better after having gotten away from the school. Smiling to herself a little,
"...Do..do you have an idea on how I tell him I'm here? I had been sqeemailing him...and I called him once...but uhm"
She trailed off as she remembered their last talk it was the reason she was so hesitant to tell him she was here. He had seemed wilshy washy on her coming to the academy. Like he was excited but not really, and so she had thought she'd try and make some friends in case Julian didn't really care to have her around. Completely lost in thought she never did finish her sentence.

Be nice Sin...be nice. She had to remind herself how bad she felt when she had gone to the Demon Academy and been scored by everyone. She was going to try and be nicer to everyone now, she was trying to be more open minded.
"It's fine...I know what you meant." She tried not to sound terse and then her look turned sympathetic. She wasn't used to ghouls being nice to her? Sin knew how that felt, other ghouls had been mean to her as well, but since she'd come to Amityville she'd made so many wonderful ghoul friends.
"Look...Lumi, I know Julian and...we've been in some tight spots before...he wouldn't have just kissed any ghoul because he didn't think he was going to come out...only one who was special to him. You don't have to believe me, but at least give him a chance to tell you how he feels before jumping to conclusions."
Of course, the wince, the idea of 'not making it' it sounded like the last field trip had gone as poorly as all the ones before. Now she was eager to get to Julian and ask him what the jack had happened.
"Hm? Oh...well you should just go up to his room once you're settled into your own. He's on the uppermost floor, I could show you the way up if you want I need to talk to him anyway? Or...I could help you to your own room first...since you looked a little...turned around." She was about to say lost, but the ghoul was already nerve-wracked enough it seemed.

Lumikki finally smiled a real smile this time, she hoped maybe she'd be able to actually make some friends here. Looking at the notes scribbled on her map she folded it up and looked at Sin,
"I would LOVE help finding my room. I have had such a day...being able to actually know where my room is would make it all worth it."
She wondered if some of her things had gotten here already, all she had brought with her was her phone, and a few papers she needed but her mother had said she woild take care of the rest.
"If I read my packet right...I think I'm in room...oh hmm suite 747? Does that sound right?"
She was a little concerned at the word suite.
"...does this school have suites?"
She winced, hopefully if it did have suites it wasn't a big deal here like it was at her old school. Although this demon seemed to be of a higher status anyways. Maybe it didn't matter to her.

"Oh good your in a suite, you might be on my floor then I think, or maybe the floor right below. Either way you'll be pretty close so if you ever need anything come see me, I'm in Bat Suite 999. Come on I'll make sure you get to your room." She turned and headed for the stairs glancing back to make sure Lumi was following.
"Suites have their own kitchen and a little more space, but otherwise all the demon dorms are pretty nice. Most of us bring any luxuries we need from home, my closet is positively overflowing, I keep most of my nicer gowns at the Estate to keep from crowding out my normal clothes." Judging by the fancy dress Sin was wearing her definition of 'normal' clothes was different than everyone else.
She jogged up the stairs and glanced at the numbers on the door before pausing. "Let's see...I think this is the right floor, yup here you go 747. Hey I was right, I'm just one floor up, and Julian is just one floor above me."
Sin could have left Lumi at that point, but now that she was standing there she was curious what the other ghoul's room looked like. Julian wouldn't mind being woken up...if he was even asleep. Lumi could get some rest and she could pump Julian for information about what had happened at school while she'd been away.

Happily following Sin up the stairs she listened to her talk about the dorms.
"Own kitchen?"
She was baffled why would her mother put her in a suite. Oh no...her face completely mortified as they reached her room, she didn't think she would...would she...looking over at Sin.
"...Parents aren't allowed to ask very nicely to uhm...decorate are they..."
She had purposly staied away from the comment of nice dresses back at the estate because knowing her mother the clothing that might be hanging in her closet would be nicer than she was comfortable with but the other ghoul seemed to understand the concept of fashinable and nice clothing. Maybe she'd have to learn a little from her. It would certainly make her mother happy.

"Yeah you know so you can have private meals instead of having to eat that stuff in the cafeteria. Trust me you do not wanna trust the Jollymeals, not that Ginger isn't a good cook, but I'm totally used to having our personal chef whip up marvels!" She licked her lips and smirked before looking at the door.
"Oh yeah of course, your mom probably has your whole room set up for you. I know mine did, she had everything moved in so I felt like I was right at home."
Hmm, Lumi looked kind of...worried. Was it because she had things she hadn't wanted her mother to see? Or was it because she was afraid her room would be in shambles and not ready to settle into? Sin had always been so close to her mother...until recently. She was still furious about being pulled out of school and held captive at home.

Lumikki sighed as she slowly opened the door, at first glance it didn't look too bad, her mother had apparently asked for a suite with wooden floors. And dark blue walls, opening the door up further she winced,
"...hmm I guess hiding in here could always be an option..."
It wasn't so much that Lumikki didn't like the room it was more of the fact that her mother had taken every opportunity to try and make it look dignified and in her own mind spoiled. Why did her mother always have to try and flaunt her status, Lumikki could careless but maybe this school was different. So far she'd met Sin and she seemed to be okay about status and such so maybe this school was okay with it. Seeing a rather skimpy kimono she rushed in quickly to hide it hoping Sin didn't see that. Oh why would her mother make sure that particular outfit was sent.
"ah...haha...my glassettas are here...that's a good thing..."
Turning to look at the other ghoul wondering what her reaction would be. Hopefully her mother didn't make her room look too much like a snobs. Considering that she might try to rearrange it all later.
