A voice caught her attention, and Shaheen turned her head towards it, eyes snapping down to the headless ghoul quickly and arms uncrossing, her stance suddenly poised as though she were ready to do battle.
But it was just a...student? She assumed it must be. The ghoul looked like a child, at least (or what Shaheen considered to be a child), not nearly old enough to be a teacher, surely. Her face remained impassive as her body relaxed, her wings folding in neatly behind her and pressing up against her back.
"Good day." She nodded, and then a small frown creased her features. Was she okay? No she most definitely was not. But she doubted this young ghoul knew anything about that.
"I'm fine." She offered, her forehead smoothing out once more as she lifted up a hand and gestured towards the school.
"I just thought I might come and have a closer look at the facilities here. I've only recently been admitted into the lost clans reserve, so have not yet had a chance to observe the school and it's inhabitants." Shaheen realized belatedly that it might help ease this ghouls mind if she at least offered her a smile, so she twitched her lips up in what she hoped was something more reassuring, though of course it only came out looking more like the horsewoman's usual self satisfied smirk.
She just didn't know how to properly smile, okay?
