THUNK The thick blade of a knife hit the seat of a wooden bench in the park, the rugged tanned hand gripping the hilt slid off of it, letting the tool stand on its own imbedded in the wood. This frees up the eccentric looking person's attention to the other hand, dripping with blood.
This person was a women, or at least that would be the guess of most people, She didn't have what could be considered a very striking female figure, she was tall, and long, though the baggy clothing didn't exactly help. The heavily shadowed eye lids, what looked like carefully styled gray hair and polished nails (while not strictly reserved for women) was probably the biggest hint. This meshed with her strong facial features politely, and while giving her a somewhat ambiguous impression on her gender, certainly give her an interesting person to spot.
Half lidded mossy green eyes slid over the cut on her hand, while her wide lips spread into a board looking smile. She didn't move her fingers at all on the wounded hand, holding the hand out away from her earthy colored clothes, letting the blood drip down onto the ground that was scattered with wood shavings. The remnant of what looked like a half finished wood carving sitting on her knee.
"Hm" she glanced up, the uninterested look breaking away to one that seemed much more enthusiastic as she saw people passing by.
A wide, uncomfortable looking grin spread over her lips as she sharply snapped her fingers and pointed to the first person that crossed her path "Hey! Hey hey hey, you. C'mere, help me out, yeah?" She called, gesturing whoever she pointed to over.

A number of people turned to look in response to the enthusiastic call for attention, but the majority of them turned to continue on their way on discovering that gesture was not intended for them. The single individual at the end of the line of her point blinked in confusion, pointing at himself momentarily to question if she was indeed talking to him. It seemed that she was. Luke wasn't really on any kind of schedule, so he shrugged and decided to indulge the stranger.
Or that was what he intended to do, at least, until he realized what kind of situation the woman was in that she was calling for assistance in the first place. He froze, blanched, and recoiled a step. His first reflex was to escape, to simply turn around, rejoin the crowd, and continue on his way. But that was sort of a horrible thing to do, considering she was asking for help, and so, with great reluctance, he forced himself forward.
"A-Are you okay?" It was really, really hard not to look at the wound or the blade that presumably caused it, but he gave his best effort.

She took a moment to sit amused enjoyment at the momentary deer in the headlights look she got in return from the one person in the crowd that seemed to take her summon seriously.
A young man, probably in his late teens, handsome guy, with the same kind of crazy of clothes and facial features that had not seen very often, even with her extensive travels. She could tell he wasn't too thrilled about the idea of coming over to help her, but she was pretty impressed they he didn't just turn and ignore her like most of these other people.
"Hum? This? Oh yeah, its not serious. But you know, my first aid kit if in my bag, I've kinda only got one hand to use, AND not a huge desire to get blood all over all my fancy brand new gear this soon." She lifted a shoulder and then let it drop abruptly.

He listened with a mild tightness to his posture and nodded slightly when she stopped speaking, locating the mentioned bag and searching for the requested first aid kit. Damn it, his hands were shaking. Calm down. The boy paused, exhaled audibly, and pulled out the kit. He moved to pass it to its owner but stopped, visibly stricken by a thought. "Oh, sorry..." he murmured. One hand to use, right. Kinda hard to treat oneself one-handed. He opened the case hesitantly, glancing cursorily over all the items it contained. Very few of them looked especially familiar, and he frowned. "Sorry, I'm not really good at this kind of thing..."

She watched with relative silence, but watched all the same, with her one eye that wasn't blocked by a silky cascade of ashen gray hair. As he looked around her bag, in a state of extreme nervousness she could help but arch her notched eyebrow, tilting her head a little to free the vision of her other eye.
As she watched though, Ray had found the belt of pokeballs that the boy was wearing. Before she commented on them though he was handing her the kit, only to continue to explain he didn't know about this kind of thing.
"Oh really? Well, then I guess now is a good time to lean then." she nodded her head to his belt. "Your a trainer right? Man, a trainer who doesn't know first aid is just asking for trouble. Here." She reached forward with her good hand to pluck up a couple of things from the kit, holding out a tube of what looked like super glue to him, while she tore open a small package with her teeth.

Luke made a slight sound, a murmur of acknowledgment. It indeed probably wasn't a very good idea for him to know so little about handling injuries, but the only time it had ever been a problem, he'd been close enough to a hospital that his lack of understand wasn't a pressing issue. That didn't mean it wouldn't be valuable knowledge in the future, though, and he certainly wasn't against learning. He watched the stranger's movements and studied the items she selected, moving a hand slightly as if to volunteer to open the package. It didn't seem like she needed the help, though; it looked as though she was perfectly content and natural going about it her own way.

Alright, well, she seemed to have him for the time being, the quiet guy wasn't protesting to her advice, she wondered how long she could keep this up. Awesome
Working the cleaning pad out of the wrapping, letting the trash fall onto the bench next to her, she glanced over at him as she started to clean up the wound. "Make sure to always clean the wound, when your out there in the wild you don't even want to know the number of nasty stuff out there that could get in there." She smirked "Don't even get me started on the city."
That was totally elementary, he probably already knew it anyway. Good.
She nodded her head toward when he was holding "Know what that is?" She asked. Seeing as the tube did say 'super glue' she had high expectations for him to answer correctly.

He nodded, though it mostly a polite gesture to indicate listening. Even Luke was aware of the idea behind disinfecting, though he'd never actually had to do it himself. It was interesting to think of the city as more dangerous than the wilderness in terms of infection, but he supposed he could imagine it... There were an awful lot of people in the city, after all, and all the waste the produced and scattered. Something to keep in mind.
He looked in the direction of the woman's gesture, reading over the label. That... seemed like a really weird thing to keep in a first aid kid. It sort of felt like a trick question, but since he didn't have any other answers, "Glue, right?"

The tall women nodded "Developed through the horrifying process of human experimentation during a darker part of our looonnngg human history! And yet we use it not only for every day life-" she held her cut hand out to him another wide smirk spreading over her face. "But for healing."
She gesture to her wounded hand, as if to imply that she wanted him to put it on her. "Amazing the things we look over for convenience huh?" With that she laughed and shook her head.
"So Kid, you didn't answer me before, about being a trainer and all, most kids jump at that topic like its a wild shiny."

He blinked in quiet surprise at her words. That was kind of... depressing. And weird; he'd never really thought of something like glue as a medical tool. The extended hand was met with a slight recoil that gave way to an enduring hesitation. Ahh dammit, there was that feeling that he hated so much again. Steeling himself, he pulled the cap from the glue and made an effort to apply it properly - not that he distinctly knew what 'properly' was in matters like this, but it seemed pretty straightforward...
Oh, that had been a question, hadn't it? He nodded, "Yeah, I am." Was it really such a big deal. Of course, she was using the word 'kid' a lot. He frowned slightly. "It's not really something I do for fun though..."

The slight recoil from the boy was met with a length of silence, as her lips formed into a more subtle smirk, watching him closely. She wasn't oblivious to the fact that he was uncomfortable, but this would be a good experience for him to have.
"You got it." she told him, as she watched the boy apply the glue to her cut, helping to seal it up. It stung, but she made no impression that it bothered her. "Hey there see, your a natural." pulling her hand away from he was done, and blowing lightly on it as she let the glue set. "Pretty simple huh? and so useful, mark my words you'll need this in the future." This was joined by a wink to him from her only visible eye.
"Not for fun?" The tall women eyes him for a moment. "Well, thats a first. Why exactly are you a trainer then? Thats putting a lot of work into something that your not doing becasue you just 'HAVE TO BE THE MASTER' you know."
