Big, tough, smelly and stupid. wot more can be said except that man for man (or whatever) they have the best rank and file troops in the game, they only come in smallish numbers though.

Honestly, how can so many people think that a new army such as the Ogres could just be proof of GW running out of ideas? I personnally think their awesome. Their my second favorite compared to Beasts of Chaos...

Female ogre maneater... beard or no beard? I liked it without the beard. Did GW get seme flak for it looking like Fiona and that is why they changed it?

Didn't know they'd changed it. I had noticed that it looked like Fiona.

I'm actually planning on starting an orge army and albeit the points costs are uhhh (OUCH) the thought of an infantry used like a rampaging mack truck does make me happy smile and gnoblars! hundreds of gnoblars!

Just got my hands on the WHFB rulebook and I'm looking for an army to play. I saw the Ogres and I think my prayers were answered!
I like the look and the feel of them. I love the models. And the character of the army is what really draws me into them. Now I just have to get my hands on the army book.

Anyone have any thoughts on just what the Great Maw is?
I have a few: its an alien entity (tyranids come to mind, but Gav already said the two worlds are not linked), its just a big crater and the ogres who saw it went mad from the poisonous wastes that surround it, or its some chaotic entity called down by the still unknown astromancers of the Cathayans.
I like the alien idea, but I still like to think its something that simply cannot be explained, adds an air of mystery to it all, very becoming if you ask me.
