I really need to get a ps2.
i played the first game and really loved it. i love the story, the characters, the music, the gameplay, the graphics, the cutscenes, and playing w/ my favorite final fantasy characters along w/ my favorite disney characters.
i'm so tempted to watch some of the japanese cutscenes online, but i dont want to spoil the adventure. it's bad enough i watched the japanese intro movie. gonk
I love this series. i love the soundtrack. i keep watching the intro movie and the deep dive movie in anticipation. here is a long to a song from KHII. listen and be amazed.

Squee~! I lurve the opening song Passion. Don't worry too much about the cut scenes. Some of them won't make too much sense unless you've played the Chain of Memories GBA version. The plot is suposed to tie into it quite a bit. I've got a copy reserved... along with a copy of the soundtrack, the art book and a first print edition of the guide.... Luff!

wait sephy, which final fantasy character do you play as? I don't ever remember that. Oh well, yes, Kingdom Hearts II is so gonna be the bomb-dot-com! I watch all of the video clips on ign.com and I was simply awestruck. It's so beautiful! i can't wait to get my hands on it at the end of this month (march 28th?)!!!!

oh, and I believe investing in a PS2 would be a good idea because there are a bunch of great games on it! My guess is that the PS2 will go down to $99 soon, which the PS3 launch in the distance. Don't know how soon that would be, but it's very possible! Or you could buy a used one for a good price too.

I'm pretty sure in the game you still play as Sora(*isn't entirely sure of the question*) And Ansem isn't invinsible.... He just seems like it. What level are you?

*eats cookie dough* My bro and I went to EB games last week after class got out so he could pre-order KH2. The clerk asked us if we had seen the preview and we said no so he showed up. It was so awesome! I hope its the opening mivie for the game! Hikki's song was so awesome too! I'm so glad she's doing the theme song again - I really should buy some of her japanese cds, I only have her american release Exodus...
So glad its finally coming out soon! xd
btw, Hikki is code for Utada Hikaru, in case you didn;t know that.

I was wondering, who do you think approched who about Kingdom Hearts? Was it Disney going,'aww man, we gotta get all these anime fans off of out back about ripping off ideas!" or was it Square Enix going "What if Cloud and Donald met?"

It's quite a weird concept, when i first heard of it, but they sure did pull it off nicely!

The whole "Disney and Final Fantasy characters meeting each other" thing still kind of baffles me. Don't get me wrong, the game is very well done. There's just... something about it that doesn't satisfy me. Meh. confused

I personally think its just another excuse for fan girls to squeel over their bishies... A fact that I'm very much guilty of xD... But seriously though. maybe some videogame designers were walking by each other, they tripped, their papers got mixed, and voala! A whole new videogame.

i got to level 99 on difficult, got save the king and queen, ultima waepon, beat the clock tower phantom, beat that extra agrahbah boss, and tricked out my gummi ship. not to mention i whooped sephiroth w/ the regular kingdom key. mrgreen
what can i say, i liked the game. rolleyes

Sephoroth was alot tougher then Ansem. I still cant beat that guy.
