Dakota didn't have long to plan for this trip and he would owe a lot of the older hunters A LOT of favors but good god, he had managed to pull something together. He had gotten leave for Vegas for one night with a questionable amount of hunters...mostly male and Clerise to have the largest and most expensive suite in the strip of Vegas. (all paid for on one of the hunters accounts...again something he would owe a lot of pod duty for the next year or so.) As well as fake Id's for all those underage who'd make it.
His plan was to get Marcus so ******** up that he didn't even remember what Marriage was until he walked down the aisle later. Not really but...he wanted his friend to have fun. And in having fun, it meant taking every single damn male hunter who would get this cheesy if not overrated text message.
He just hoped it didn't circulate to the higher ups.Text Fwd: To those who get this, Bachelor party for Marcus, Portal, Overnight visit to Vegas. Bring change of clothes, Money if you want (most of its paid) and yourselves. About to get ******** up in here. He tapped the second message out.Text Fwd: Bring whoever you want as long as its a guy. Anyone ask, we're all on Cleaning duty for the night...or Patrols. We got back up from some of the older hunters.... That was it. He waved at the hunter who was manning the portal now. Now to see who'd come visit for a trip to the city of Sin. iStoleYurVamps Text to Marcus: Come to the Portal Bro! Time for your Party ILU 5 EVR Text to Clerise: Hey Red, want to come be our Bro at the Bachelor party? Need a wingman to take all the incrimanting photo's

Clerise had been plaintively exploring Clarice's closet, grey monsters be damned, when her phone went off. Nyxtsuki Moon pretty thing you know im down Surprisingly, or perhaps not, this was not her first rodeo as a bro for a bachelor party. Making the trek to her own room and conveniently running from everything that popped out at her, Clerise grabbed a duffelbag and started packing it. Underwear. Extra underwear, because she knew she'd probably lose the first pair by no fault of her own. A dress. Tights. Loose top. Vest. Her cash. She was dressed plainly-- comfortable combat boots, sparkly pink tights, a black miniskirt and a pink and black top. Her normal red ribbons had been exchanged for pink ones. Clerise arrived at the portal, bag slung over her shoulder. She had made a pit stop at Dwight's, and after a little bit of sweet talking and a lot of lap sitting, they parted ways with mutual benefit. "Who in their right mind would let you be the best man?" Clerise asked, brow raised, snapping a picture of Dakota with the camera. Fortunately, it seemed pretty straightforward. Point and shoot. She was SO taking ten million pictures.

As Marcus arrived at the portals, there was the familiar expression of 'no Dakota, no'. Marcus had said yes sadly, some time back, and the younger hunter had hit the ground practically running. Still, he had asked, Marcus had said yes, and Marcus wasn't about to crush his hopes and dreams. Not to mention that Marcus was pretty interested in the whole 'bachelor party' thing.
He'd never been to Vegas for Vegas,he'd never gotten drunk, and he'd never... well okay he had technically seen a girl strip but he didn't pay for it. He was getting married and apparently having a bachelor party was mandatory. He'd do it. Life experience and all that.
Looking at Clerise, he raised a brow. ".....Eh." A shrug, if Clerise was coming, it didn't bother him. So what if she was female, she would probably be more sane than half of them by the night's end. All Marcus was hoping for was that he didn't get drunk married to a stripper.

Clerise just grinned, bouncing on her heels and snapping a picture of Marcus. Then of Dakota. Then of them together.
Moon bros, and all that.

Dakota grinned as Clerise and Marcus joined him before wrapping an arm around Marcus's shoulders.
"This kid here did Clerise." He thumbed at Marcus before his grinned widened. "And then I got to throw together some party or something. Excited for Vegas Marcus?" He waited a beat, "It's my first time going there."
He posed for the picture...and the next one....and then relaxed, waiting for any other hunters that came.
In truth, he wanted to make sure there was a big enough group when they went through the portal. It would drop them right off in the suite, and then would be open the day after in the suite to bring them home. Again....He was going to owe a lot of favors.
He just hoped that the text message made it to everyone.

The dorms were looking clearer. Still not safe, but Harrison braved the foggy halls to rescue his best kicks. He picked up a neon windbreaker and some jeans while he was at it. Not that he knew what you were supposed to wear in Vegas. He had vague ideas that all looked like James Bond from Casino Royale, but he was minus any formal wear and this was a bachelor party, not a funeral.
Rep and Jordan were still gunshy about public appearances, but a guy only got one bachelor party.
Especially a guy that worked in an organization where everyone had the life expectancy of a butterfly.
Harrison got changed in the dim of the bunker, pocketing his wallet and a few party favors, and then waiting for Rep to be through so they could head up together.
Dakota, Clerise, and Marcus were already there, and Marcus looked understandably wary. Harrison clapped him on the back. "Sure he's excited. Look at that face. I can tell he's about ready to bust at the seams." ...He'd warm up. Probably.

Rep had agonised for a while when he got the text about showing up to the party, but in the end he'd decided. One, it was Vegas, two, it was an all man's party anyway so there was nothing suspicious about anything. And the major third point was that there would probably be booze so any other points would quickly become irrelevant as the night wore on. Plus he couldn't hide forever, there came a point when avoiding people just made the rumours worse.
The first order of business had been to go get clothes to wear. He refused to wear "his" t-shirt because he was aware that he'd lost and ruined way too many items of clothing at parties in the past and he liked that shirt. For this reason, he was finally forced to go back to his room for the first time in weeks to actually get something to wear that wasn't either borrowed or standard issue. It was nice to have at least a few of his possessions back and wearing his old clothes again made him feel more stable, more grounded. Anyone who wanted to say anything smart arse to him could talk to his fist.
As they got ready to head off, Rep ended up dressing in an unzipped tracksuit with a celtic football shirt under it and a pair of trainers. Perfectly suitable for Vegas he figured.
< Sure William, you'll be fully prepared if a sport breaks out in the middle of the night >
<< Shut up Tracey >>
On their arrival, he hung back moodily as Harrison said his hellos, not about to say anything to Marcus after the fairly unpleasant terms their last encounter left off on. He didn't care if this was a party for the moon hunter's benefit, he was here strictly for the booze. Clerise did get the manly headtilt of bro greeting despite being female - she was an honorary man in Rep's mind anyway - and Dakota got a "please don't come near me or remember that favour from before" pleading look, at least it wasn't a glare.

Jerry had been catching up on recovering from what he liked to think of as "the roof incident", and had been feeling a touch bitter about life when the text came in. He read Dakota's messages with narrowed eyes from the cot he was hiding in.
On one hand, he did not know Marcus very well. Would he be welcome to join in this party? Jerry didn't usually get invited to parties. It must have been a mass text.
On the other hand... Vegas. He had never been to Vegas before. Alright, there were plenty of temptations he could get in horrible trouble for, mostly booze and never mind the more than likely scantly clad woman but... Vegas was famous for more than just pasties and martinis!
You know what? He deserved to see a proper Vegas show! It wasn't like Broadway, he didn't think, but it still would be fantastic, right? Maybe they'd find some good old-fashioned vaudeville, even!
He let Sasha know he was going away this time, at least, leaving his guitar in her care, and scrambled for the best of what remained of his 'street clothes,' namely the tattered suit he had worn to Robert and Petra's wedding, sans bow tie. The only unfortunate thing was that his leg brace didn't fit UNDER the damn trousers. At least well. He wasn't sure what the weather would be like, after yet another mad-scramble-dash to his room, he added his long coat he had gotten at Christmas to at least keep the thing from being embarrassingly obvious.
Hopefully he would know other people who were coming too- he poked his head into the portal room, and was happy to see some familiar faces.... only to flush at the sight of Rep.
He saw nothing. He knew nothing. Act casual. Pretend you didn't know.
Except Harrison was there too and HE knew he knew and aaaah hopefully he hadn't said anything.
"Ah... Hi, guys! I heard there's a ... er... party?" He spotted Marcus and gave a large grin, limping his way over, "Congratulations, Moon-man!"

There were a few people already in the portal room when Jordan arrived; all, fortunately, people he was pleased to see. He was still a little edgy about the whole gossip business, but there was a point at which one had to brazen it out; anyway, he genuinely wanted to go. He liked Marcus. He crossed to where Marcus stood looking ambivalent about the whole thing, and clapped the man on the shoulder. "Congratulations," he said, smiling. "You two are good together."
"Hey," he said to the others. Then he paused. While he was wearing a nice shirt and loose tie with his jeans and boots, both of his boyfriends had arrived in ... questionable sartorial choices. He looked vaguely pained. " ... Guys. Seriously?"

As Jerry arrived Rep shot him a glare. The guy knew how to drink, that was the main thing he had going for him at the moment and the main reason he didn't get a snide comment as he passed to address Marcus.
As Jordan showed up on the scene, Rep stopped scowling quite as much and his expression softened a bit, at least for a short time. It was only as the memory of recent events reared its ugly head again that he remembered people might be watching and intentionally scowled again.
His question though was confusing and the redhead froze dead in his tracks, mortified he'd done something else wrong, this time inadvertently. His expression was carefully blank as he replied.
"Aye?"
The fact it could have anything to do with his clothing choice didn't even cross his mind.

Jerry was looking, well, still like he had escaped from a desert island, but maybe the clubs wouldn't hold that against them. He'd gotten a new cell phone in short order.
"You're in the right place," Harrison allowed.
At the look from Jordan, Harrison looked over at Rep. Nothing wrong as far as he could see.
"...Seriously what?"

"The clubs aren't going to let you in dressed like that." His own opinions on the matter went unmentioned. "We're going to have to make a short side trip. I'm sure there's clothing stores near the Strip. For people who didn't realize they needed a jacket or something." Jordan crossed his arms over his chest and glared. This was not negotiable.

Rep blinked. This was about clothes?
"Well clubs let me in back home" he ventured with a petulant pout, but his resolve faltered in the face of Jordan's serious face.
"..Okay, we can look. I guess."

These were his clubbing clothes.
"I look good," Harrison said, and then in a lower voice, behind his hand, "you ought to talk to Jerry, he got this whole...homeless thing going on."
