This will be a singles battle using 2 pokemon and a random field will be rolled. Each of you will face each other once. The person with the best win record wins. If it's a tie, I will judge based on your strategies and on a lesser note, the quality of your responses.

Remember:

FIRST POSTS (for both of you): An introduction post of you walking into the stadium, DO NOT LET OUT YOUR POKEMON YET OR EVEN POST THEM, and rolling a 100-sided dice.

SECOND POSTS: The person who rolled the highest last time now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK) and preferably posts the pokemon's cert/stats (also mention what your second pokemon is either OOC or in the RP post)
The other person now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK) and also informs the other person who their second pokemon is either OOC or in the RP post

THIRD POSTS: The person who sent out their pokemon first can now attack
Then the battle proceeds as normal.


You guys will have 3 days to reply to the threads and I am hoping to get this wrapped up within 3 weeks. If your battle is incomplete within 3 weeks, the victory goes to the last person who posted.

Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Shina entered the stadium, taking her place in the trainer's box. She took a deep breath of the grass-scented air and smiled. Final round. If she could win this, she could actually become a gym leader.

"Annabell would never forgive me if she sat this one out, so I'll give her first shot!" Shina said, pulling Annabell's pokeball from her belt and sending the ball spinning into the field. Annabell made a gleeful sound and chittered her teeth in excitement.

1100HP

Trailing her fingers over her remaining pokeballs, Shina nodded. Yuki would finish the battle.

Annabell twisted lithely out of the path of the attack, chittering her amusement at her foe.

In the trainer's box, Shina's eyes narrowed. Trying for status effects? She would have to watch out for that. In the meantime, "Anna, Shadow Ball! Lower his defense!"

With an evil laugh, Annabell gathered the ball of dark energy, and blasted it at the puppy.

Annabell twisted to the side again, launching another glob of shadowy energy as the Growlithe charged past. "Fufufufufu!"

In the trainer box, Shina nodded. If her opponent was going to be using status effects, it was best to weaken them as much as possible so that what attacks she was able to land would really count.

Annabell darn near pirouetted out of the way this time, launching a Shadow Ball right at Odin's hindquarters. There was no doubt about her laughter this time, as she reared up on her hind legs, wrapped one paw around her belly, and pointed the other at Odin. "Fufufufufufufu!"

Shina rubbed her forehead. "Annabell, we've talked about taunting!" she called. Annabell ignored her.

Annabell pouted, then grinned as she sent a raging torrent of water blasting at the fire pup.
