- Each character also has a cell phone that for some reason they were carrying. Each day, the cellphone sends strange text messages of important significance, you MUST READ AND REACT ICLY to the messages TO FURTHER THE PLOT. Your cellphone is strapped to your belt, it is not leaving anywhere anytime fast.
- You can only RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES ON YOUR PHONE, for some reason attempting to respond to the message or use any other function other than READ NEW TEXT yields nothing.
Cell phone events will consist of two categories:
1) RANDOM EVENT: At random intervals during the IC days, random events will happen. This can happen in ANY area, and increase the chances of supplies and clues to be given, but also increase the chances of death. However, no clue = no leaving this island! In fact, in a lot of random events, if you do not participate your character will instantly find themselves very dead, at not having a very key item.
2) CLUE: Occasionally the cell phone is generous and will text a very big clue such as "GO TO __ LOCATION". The map of the location will also be texted.
