Talents: Dancing, be it tribal or formal, she has skill with them, and can pick up a rhythm to move to with ease; Theft- somewhat self-explanitory, no?
Specialization: Dancer
Background: Seru had been born and abandoned in the Red Circle almost at birth, and taken in by a lower-class family. Even as a child, she had been willful enough to survive and thrive, despite the fact that her sight had dimmed since birth, eyes slowly losing their strength.
Her family never really had enough food to support her and her three other adopted siblings, and so, when she was old enough, her eldest brother taught her how to steal for her supper. She was quite good at it, and if she got caught, what was one loaf of bread to a child with cheeks gaunt, her eyes with hints of silver?
Seru's eldest sister had been the most graceful, the gentlest of the four souls that called the same couple 'mother' and 'father'. She had been the quickest to learn to dance when a troupe came through the Red Circle, to entertain the lower-class folk, and had promptly set to work teaching Seru. She had the fairest skin of the four of them, and a pleasant form, on the cusp of maturity, and her sister knew it was make or break for the girl- she was youngest. She had a chance to get out of the circle, the best of any of them. And Dancers seemed to have a freedom all their own... And so, Seru learned to move with the rhythm, despite the fact that her eyes had nearly fully silvered.
Seru had left on her thirteenth birthday, tearfully kissing each face she could no longer see, but knew better than her own and hugging them all, naming them- Kaila, Ivek, Nomaak, Matera, Paetre- and offered her 'twin', the brother she had not shared a womb with but shared a birthday, a silver anklet, and he gave her a delicately made choker, sliver, set with a sapphire flower, a stolen gift, and all the more precious. She parted ways with them, and had gone off, alone, blind, and utterly unafraid.
It had been shortly after that that she had met the young Nyx, an adorable foal who had a biting sarcasm and somewhat patronizing tone, despite her much younger age, and, after some considerable time traveling together, they had Bonded wonderfully. She never could find her way back home, to the Red Circle den she had grown up in, despite her many attempts, and secretly prays that she will one day find her twin, to show him the beautiful girl she had become, and the wonderful mare she had bonded.
Personality: A loving soul, Seru enjoys the company of others. She enjoys offering comfort whenever she can, and will often put them far before her. She has a wistful nature just beneath her cheerful demeanor, although she'll deny it. She secretly longs to belong someplace, and to protect her lovely mare, she will do anything in her power...
AppearanceSeru stands at 5'1" tall, and weighs one hundred thirty-five pounds. She has shoulder-length, blue-black hair, and pale, lightly freckled skin, and pale blue-grey eyes. She wears loose-fitting clothing, such as a wraparound top with a sash to keep it closed, and long, baggy sleeves, with embroidery on the right sleeve, and baggy pants that have harem style hems, and embroidery on the left pant leg. She often wears a blindfold, to protect her eyes, and a choker of sorts around her throat, and is often shoe-less.
