A bare and filthy room where naughty students go to suffer at the hands of the ruthless staff, primarily Samael Agnusdei. It doubles as his office, with all of his paperwork and things stacked in one corner of the room.

There was still a little time before class started and Angela had a quick errand to run. She'd found out where Samael's office was and needed to drop off a gift to hopefully cheer him up. He had completely freaked out after accidentally hitting her the day before and she felt kind of bad about it because, really, she'd jumped between him and Abel without really thinking about it. After the fact, she had realized it was rather stupid of her but at the time, she'd just been thinking that she didn't want them to fight.

And it was a little disturbing to see someone with a temper that rivaled hers.

But at any rate, he had obviously felt terrible about it so she went out before class and grabbed him a potted plant as a welcoming gift because she felt responsible for upsetting him (which, honestly--he'd knocked her off a ladder, then hit her. She wasn't sure why she was the one who felt bad...).

She eventually found the little room tucked away in a forgotten corner of the school and knocked on the door carefully before pushing it open. Oh...god. What the hell was this dingy little place? It was like they forgot this room existed until they hired Samael and shoved him in it.

"Mr. Agnusdei?"

Ew. It smelled like burned celery and frogs. What the hell?

Samael Agnusdei

All men are not created equal. It is my purpose to make them so.

Samael was standing in the room, looking out a gap in the shutters of the window, watching the front of the school like a hawk. It was the beginning of the school day and students were arriving, so he wanted to watch and see if any would do anything he deemed punishable. But he quickly lost his focus when he heard the door open.

He spun around, wondering why in the world someone would disturb him when he was busy spying on the possible delinquents. Did something serious happen? ... Nope. He frowned in disappointment when he saw it was just a student, then realized what student it was.

"Oh, Angela! I'm so so-- .... What is that?" He stopped in the middle of his thousandth apology when he noticed the potted plant she was carrying. Was it... a gift? Okay, first he knocked the poor girl off a ladder. Then he hit her. And now she was bringing him a gift!? Either he was a lot more intimidating than he thought, or she was a loony masochist. He didn't like it either way.

"Yes? How can I help you?" He asked wringing his hands to try to keep himself from showing any of the nervousness on his face. He just hoped she hadn't told anyone of his little... mishap. Or mishaps, rather.

"Well, I wanted to bring you a welcome gift since you're new and all that," Angela said, looking around. She was still sort of shocked by the horrible little room. He could at least open the windows and get that horrible smell out. Then again, maybe he liked it.

"And I sort of felt bad about the incident in the infirmary--I mean, I sort of jumped in without thinking. Mostly because I didn't want you to be reprimanded on my account--I'm mean I'm really thankful you stepped in and all that. I just...ah...it wasn't worth getting into a fight over." She would have flailed if her hands weren't full. She wasn't sure what she was even trying to say. She wanted to apologize for upsetting him and thank him for his help and let him know that she was fine and she didn't know why she cared since he was kind of a jerk. But he also seemed like a sort of neurotic, anxious jerk and he had definitely been extremely upset for accidentally hitting her and that made her feel bad. "And yes, ah, don't worry about me because I'm fine. Really. I'm a lot tougher than I look. Um, here?" She held the plant out to him. "I guess you're still moving in and such?"

"Would you like me to help you clean up? Um, I can stop by during my free period if you like."

He was right. It was a gift. Samael wanted to facepalm at that, having really, really hoped that his 'loony masochist' assumption was false. But it appeared that it was true. He would have to deal with this... lightly. Someday. Yes, he was just going to put it off, because it disturbed him. A lot.

He began to contemplate how to hint at the strange student that he wasn't interested and didn't want to hurt her again. It took him a long time, but he eventually realized that she was talking now. Whoops. She was a lot tougher than she looked, eh? ... That didn't mean what he thought it meant, did it? Oh my, now he felt really awkward. He tried to ignore that statement as he took the plant from her. Well, he couldn't think of it as just 'the plant', so he would have to give it some sort of name. ... Charley. Yes, its name would be Charley. "Yes, sort of. Thank you," He told her as he placed the plant in the corner of the room opposite to the one where he kept his things.

And then he heard her offer to come by during free period. ... She was so persistent, it was scary. He didn't hate her or anything, and in fact, she wasn't too terrible to talk to, but... he just felt uncomfortable around her now. "No, no thank you. You can go out and enjoy your free period with your fellow students. I'm about done cleaning up here anyway. I don't want the place to be too nice for the naughty students who will be punished here."

"Ah..." Angela watched him take the plant and put it in a corner. "You're almost finished? Really..." Naughty students that would be punished? That sounded suss. Very, very suss. He sounded way too eager to 'punish' 'naughty' people. That sounded more like something you'd hear in cheap porn than from a school staff member. Creepy. Very, very creepy. "Well I hope your...'punishments' aren't too severe because it could be considered illegal." She raised her hands. "I'm not trying to be cheeky. I'm just trying to help because I know, um, that different worlds have different rules about these sorts of things. But you can't actually make the students suffer--you'll probably be sacked."

"Besides, isn't the goal to reform disobedient students instead of punishing them? Eh...I'm probably talking too much. Apparently that's something I do frequently." Frequently enough that Abel always told her to shut up and Tarik barely listened to anything she said. Idiots. "Anyway, I really need to get to class." She gave him a slight smile as she headed for the door. "I don't wish to be tardy because--and I really don't mean this in a bad way--but I don't intend to be spending any time in here."

Not because she intended to be entirely obedient. She just didn't intend to get caught. "I'll see you later. If you change your mind about the cleaning, just let me know. Or you can ask the janitor--I think his name is Briar and he lurks around the boiler room a lot."

xDon't you know what's out there in the world?
Someone has to shield you from the world.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Another new room! Gad had been doing his usual skittering around the halls when he realized a previously empty room had a new label on it and everything – which meant that a teacher must be inside; a new teacher! He had left the moment he realized that so he could get a present to the new teacher and establish a better relationship with the entirety of the school. Even if he hadn't enjoyed the last time he had tried to do that to a new teacher, he still had made a very good friend as a result! Cyrus was certainly among his most treasured of pals and if it wasn't for that dead flower he had tried to give him when he was having intimate time with his partner, he would never have discovered how alike they were!

In the end, greeting new staff members to the school would benefit more than not. So, he came back with a box of disposable gloves and a puzzled expression. He had overheard a few students discussing rats, stars, and palindromes. It was a very confusing statement to over hear, but he brushed it aside and decided to go on with his intentions – or, rather, he did before he opened the door and saw the interior. Oh. God. He dropped the gloves and covered his mouth, stopping breathing as he took in the absolutely filthy room. He.. Oh, God, he needed to go and wash himself. Now. He turned and ran away from the scary, scary room and pretend it never existed ever again ever.

[Exit Gad]

Samael Agnusdei

All men are not created equal. It is my purpose to make them so.

Samael had felt like a total recluse, a shut-in, for the last couple days, turning to the most obscure things to keep him amused. That included counting the dots on the ceiling, having deep discussions and intense debates with Charley the plant, and counting and memorizing the faces of each and every student as they walked up to the front of the school.

And that last little 'hobby' of his made him notice something very peculiar. There were quite a few missing students; even more absent than usual. Maybe a group had decided on a Skip School Day? Or maybe... it was something much more severe. And for his answers, he turned to the one he trusted most... Charley.

He set down the watering pot he usually used to water the plant in the center of the room and walked off to the other corner of the room, where he kept a small lamp for when it got dark. He set the lamp down by Charley, flipped the switch, and turned it to his face. ... Well, the plant didn't have a face, but it was close enough. He stared the plant down, watching closely as it quivered in fear. ... Well, not really, because it was just because of the slight breeze in the room, of course.

"You. I know you know where these missing students are. Tell me now, or face the consequences!" ... No reply. "Fine then," He said as he folded his hands behind his back and paced back and forth in front of Charley, "If you're not willing to speak to me now, then you will have to wait there until you change your mind. See that watering pot? It's full. And you're not getting any of that precious water until you tell me where the missing students are!" He stopped in front of Charley and stared at the plant for a long moment before lightly nudging it with his foot.

... What in the world was he doing!? Plants can't talk. He sighed, knowing for sure that he needed to go out for some human interaction before he would end up losing his mind completely.

Romane Bissette

xHaving just the vision is no solution,

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

This was strange. Completely and utterly strange – there was no other word for it! Romane was on full panic-mode as she moved up and down the halls, circled the school, checked the dorms, eyed the classrooms, and even went through both bathrooms, checking within the toilets and inside the vents. Students. Were. Missing. She couldn't find them – anywhere!

She had been counting heads all morning and had assumed that they were sick or ditching or being annoying slackers, but not one corner of the school grounds revealed any hint of their presence. She even noticed one injured student was missing! Truly, despicable. To think even a student who was supposedly injured would ditch the school to go lollygag out in the city! Ah, she would wring their necks the moment she saw them! She couldn't stand such a mass attack on the rules and guidelines of the school! But, first, she would need to tell the other security guards on how horrible of a job they were doing. It was more efficient to do that before leaving after the students.

Romane burst into the detention room and – “...” ..She could have swore she heard someone talking in here. She glanced over the room and eyed the officer within suspiciously. “...Where are they? I know you were speaking to someone. Who are you hiding? Is it the students? I can not believe such a detestable being would be allowed on staff; to hide students from the law! You should be fired right now! I would fire you right now!” If she had the power, that is. She scowled as she circled the room and began glancing through the filth to try to figure out just where he could hide students – did he shrink them first and then hide them? That would be odd, but she had seen stranger magic at work.

Tarik entered the classroom just as he heard a woman yelling about firing. How odd. How peculiar. A woman. Yelling at a man. Tarik would go immediately to his defense, but there was no time.

"I have heard there was news of missing students. Have you heard of this?" Tarik asked as he entered a classroom. "My source comes from a student herself. She found out a student and her friend were missing and has been searching for them, but there seem to be no trace. They haven't even been around in the dormitory and you would think they would at least go there to sleep unless they were whores."

"If you've heard of this subject or know about it, tell me now so we can go search for students." Tarik figured that if it involved a lot, it'd be best to send all the students to their dorms to avoid any more disappearances, but hopefully that wasn't the case.

Samael Agnusdei

Samael stiffened slightly and spun around when he heard the door slam open, glad that he finished that little crazy moment before the person arrived. They better have had a good explanation as to why they were throwing doors open like a-- ... He paused and stared at the familiar woman, recognizing her as the one he had a very long stare-down with. She better not have been looking for a rematch.

He scowled at her outburst, wondering who died and made her queen... or more like dictator, "Excuse me? Can't you see I'm in the middle of interviewing someone? I am trying to find the missing students at this very moment, and the longer you interrupt me, the longer it will take for us to find them! And you are the one who should be fired for your flagrant disrespect towards your fellow staff members!" At least, he was fairly sure she was a part of the staff at this point, simply by the fact that she acted so high and mighty. He watched as she searched around with a frown. The room was pretty bare, and if she thought that a student could be hiding in a room like this, then she must have been insane.

He sighed in irritation when another blond came into his office, at least relieved that he didn't slam the door open like the previous one. But, hey, at least this was the human interaction he was looking for. Though they may not have been entirely human. At least this man seemed a little more calm about the situation. "If these students haven't even been seen at the dorms, then this is possibly an emergency situation. We should send the students to their dorms and have the teachers watch over them while we search the grounds. If we don't find them here, then we will search elsewhere. I want these students found alive and unharmed," He told the two of them as he walked over to the phone hung on the wall.

"Since you're so determined to be the one to find the students, feel free to do the honors," He offered to the fussy woman with a frown, knowing that she would probably either enjoy having that power, or feel insulted that it was granted to her. Possibly both, now that he thought about it.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Romane stopped in her search long enough to glance at the man and the area around him. The closest thing to him that could possibly be alive was a potted plant and some garbage that looked as if it could possibly be housing some lesser lifeforms with some basic self-awareness, but neither were capable of speech. She stared at him for a moment in consideration of how sane he was, but gave up on it when she realized she was wasting time. She only gave him a snort, unamused that he would consider himself a 'fellow' when he seemed preoccupied with wasting his time on delusions. She tapped the wall to see if there could be a hidden doorway that was concealing the students, but it seemed as if the room was empty of such humanoids. She creased her brow in confusion as she turned to start an interrogation on the man, but another individual was in the room.

..It sounded like he too was a staff member, likely in the same category as herself as he actually had information on her task. She was still unsure on the first male's position in the school, but it was more important to pay attention to this serious offense that they were just informed of! If the others students were even alarmed, then that would mean this could possibly be something more intense than the usual ditching party.. More importantly, was the delusional man giving her orders?

...Don't listen to him,” She said quickly to her fellow security guard, “he's mentally unstable and currently hallucinating. I'm Officer Romane Bissette – head of security.” Or she may as well have been, considering she did more work than any other officer could possibly hope to. “Before the student spreads panic and awareness to the delinquents involved, I believe it would be safest to contain them to command control beforehand. We should send an announcement to have the rest of the staff bring the students to their dorms while we search the area.” That sounded like a good plan; it was a good thing she had thought of it. “Ah, we should take that man into custody; he's a possible suspect and threatened me before you arrived.” Well, threatened her job, but it was about the same thing in her head.

Tarik frowned. Now was not the time for arguing, but despite the clashing personalities between these two, the end result was unanimous. The students had to be all in the same place. Whether it was them being delinquents or them being in danger, he wasn't sure, but locking them in their dorms wasn't a bad idea.

Although he had to take a moment to give Romane a baffled look because she was apparently 'the head of security' and Tarik was part of the security. He was definitely not taking orders from a woman. If anything, she'd probably be instructing them on how to raise children rather than being security guards. Well, he shall keep this to himself and he will find the head of this facility and complain.

"Then we've all come to an agreement. I will head to the office and ask for an announcement to be made." Tarik said. Oh yeah and he should probably go and introduce himself too. "Yes, and I am Tarik." Tarik added in clumsily as he left.

Samael Agnusdei

All men are not created equal. It is my purpose to make them so.

Samael stared at the deranged staff member when she claimed that he was mentally unstable, finding that extremely ironic. She was the one who needed quite a few anger management classes and plenty of therapists to work out her obvious superiority issues. Especially when she claimed herself to be head of security. He doubted anyone would let such a dominating force have that kind of power, unless they were asking for trouble.

He folded his arms and tapped his foot impatiently as she repeated exactly what he had said previously, unable to resist the urge to mumble, "I am astounded by your maturity, ma'am..." And taking him into custody? What, was she mad? ... Oh, yes, she was. "I didn't once threaten you! I would never! You were the one who came in and threatened my job, when you have no authority to do so."

He had forgotten the man was there until he started to leave, introducing himself rather awkwardly. "Tarik, uh... yes, go do that," He said after he already left before clearing his throat and turning to the batty woman, "I am going to see if the doctor needs any help transporting any injured students. You can start the search and I will join you later." Or not. He would rather not see the woman ever again. And with that said, he left immediately, not wanting to hear her try to defy him with her seemingly never-ending stubbornness.

Angela made her way to Samael's office slash dungeon slash broom closet place and knocked quietly, unsure if he would actually be there. It was the weekend so he might have actually done something normal like...go out for lunch. Then again, he could just be sitting in his office talking to his plant.

But she didn't think he was that sad an individual. She hoped. Though if he was, at least he'd have someone else to talk to soon. She'd gotten him a little cactus this time...

Pushing the door open slightly, she said. "Hello? Anyone here today?"
