About Mara: She grew up in the inner city and learned to fight as a sort of survival skill. She had a drunk for a mother and an abusive father. Her older sister, Erica, couldn't wait to get out of the disfunctional house and always told Mara stories about the life they should've had. Mara ran away from home when she was 15 and lived in the forest outside of London. During A-Day she stayed in the tree house she had built. After awhile, Mara decided to go into the city and search for survivors.
