Samawati was rather desperate as he headed to the massive rock formation known as Pride Rock for the third night in a row. He’d gotten into a minor scuffle with a leopard at the borders the day he had met a brown lioness and had failed to meet her that night as they had planned. Normally it wouldn’t be much of a problem but the golden lion had realized with horror that he didn’t even know her name! They’d never actually introduce themselves, how was that possible?! And even worse, the day after he had tried looking for the “pretty brown lioness with piercing blue eyes” and now there was a group of young lionesses that started giggling every time he walked past them. He had a feeling his friends would soon hear about this and that he was in for mountain of teasing. It wouldn’t be so bad if he actually managed to find the brown lioness though.

Although he was on her mind she wasn't seeking him out.
She was a weird lioness at times. She really enjoyed his company she did and she wanted to find him but yet she wanted him to find her. She was weird like that. She didn't really realize that she never told him her name. But she was still hoping, she was really hoping, that he was going to come find her soon. It had been a few days now and she was starting to get a little upset. He seemed so interested in finding her and spending time with her but so far she hadn't seen him.
She huffed a little and laid out by the rocks, toward the top of them. There wasn't any lions up here, not many others went up here and she knew it. That was why she liked to hang out here. Not only that but she could also get a good view of the pride it was pretty during this time of the day. Not only that but it was also pretty seeing the stars and the moon. It was beautiful she enjoyed watching things like this. The moon was enough light for her to see creatures moving out in the distance. Tonight surely was a beautiful night.

He’d found her. Even now as he stared in silence at the dark shape of the brown lioness, Samawati could barely believe it. It made sense that he would eventually find the girl – they did live in the same pride, after all – but after the previous failures the golden lion had begun wondering if perhaps Fate hadn’t decided to play a cruel joke on him and through some untimely twist prevent the two young lions from ever seeing each other again.
He ran up to the lioness, his mind a complete blank. He could’ve said many things. Good evening, would’ve been a good choice. A friendly Hello might be just as good. That was not what came out of Samawati’s mouth.
“What is your name?!” he asked bluntly as he reached the blue-eyed lioness, his voice filled with frustration. Samawati took a very deep breath, almost as if he was breathing properly for the first time in a long time.

Sarabi stretched out her paws before getting ready to stand up. She was thinking about going for a walk, however as she shifted herself something caught her attention. A dull yellow figure was coming her way. She was extremely surprised she wasn't actually expecting to find company. However she did have to admit that she enjoyed the idea of spending time with some one and as she started to turn her attention She arched her brow and then smiled at the male was she fully processed who it was and then why he was demanding her name. She smiled a little more and she followed it with a laugh.
"That is an interesting way to tear some one." She asked curiously, she flicked her hair out of the eye once again before pawing at playfully before deciding to tell him her name. She smiled at him. "My name is Sarabi." She said simply before letting out another chuckle.

“Sarabi… Like the old Queen?” Samawati said slowly, his voice more composed even though he was still wearing a rather pronounced frown. “I’m Samawati. I’m not sure I told you before.”
Even he, who hadn’t been in the pride for long and could hardly be considered the Historian-type, knew of the Kings and Queens of old. It was not a name he had expected for the blue-eyed lioness but he supposed it suited her.
“It’s very hard to find someone when you don’t know their name, you know?” he spoke again as he moved closer to the brown lioness, her smile and laughter slowly calming him down. “I couldn’t meet you that day we talked. But I did try to find you.”

Sarabi was asked that question a lot, and normally it annoyed her but at the moment she just thought that it was cute. She smiled at him and nodded, "Yes like the old queen." She chuckled a little and then nodded to him once again. "I did get your name last time. That was when it occurred to her, she remembered that she didn't tell him her name. But he was pretty interesting if he managed to find her. She had to give him a lot of credit for that. She shifted herself so she was more comfortable as she could get so that she could face him.
"Well Samawati you know." She started at his question about being hard to find some one when youd didn't know their name. "Sarabi DOES mean Mirage." She laughed a little with a small smirk. "I hope you were looking for me!" She giggled. She wasn't going to admit if she was looking for him or not. She did like to play hard to get. But he was cute so she was going to try to behave herself the best she could with this whole hard to get thing.

“No, actually I didn’t know.” Samawati said, finally calming down enough to sit. He was starting to regret having been so blunt before and admitting to have been looking for the lioness so quickly. It made him look a little desperate, after all.
“Yes.” He admitted after a brief pause, frowning a little. Why was he repeating himself? It seemed he just automatically answered anything the brown lioness asked, regardless of how embarrassed he felt. Finally he smiled and his voice became softer and almost playful. “You know… you could’ve looked for me as well.”

Sarabi was a little surprised at the male saying that he didn't know her name. She was actually very surprised. "Oh, I thought I told you!" She laughed a little, mostly at herself, she then she had to admit something that was for sure. "Well, I don't think it would help that much." She said shaking her head before flicking her hair out of her eyes. "I don't think there are many around here who even know me." She chuckled a little, it was such a big pride and not only that but she kept to herself at times so often. Sure she would strike up a conversation with others but she couldn't really say if there were many others around that knew of her. She was still more than sure that she didn't know that many others around here and not many knew her. It made her a little upset but at the same time she didn't mind.
She then laughed once again and turned toward him the smile even bright on her face. She couldn't help it though she looked at him she was being a little flirty and she knew it. "Now then! Maybe I did,, maybe you'll never know." She then thought about it. "Beside! Isn't the male supposed to look for the girl?" She asked him curiously but playfully.

He laughed with her, unable to hold a grudge for his previous distress but not too bothered by it. It had been a while since he felt that kind of his expression on his face and he felt a little surprised. Sure, he’d laugh every time his niece and nephew did something silly when they were little and his friends had also managed to get a few laughs out of him but it wasn’t a common occurrence and to have a near stranger break his perpetual frown with such ease confused the yellow lion. He felt lighter just being by her side.
“I suppose.” He agreed with a small smile though he was pretty thick when it came to flirting signals. “So… I guess it’s a little easier to find you now I have your name. You know, if you don’t mind that I find you…” he grinned a little, somewhat anxious. It was better to make everything clear from the start but because of his history with females, a part of him couldn’t help but to fear that she was simply humoring him.

"That it will!" She agreed with him. She was guessing it would be easier to find her in that case. She was hoping so anyway. "I don't know, my sister has called me tricky to find some times." She giggled playfully before she flicked her hair out of her eyes and then paused to listen to him. He was pretty cute that was for sure, in both an attractive, and also an adorable way that was for sure. She flicked her tail behind her. "No I don't mind at all!" she giggled a little before then taking another pause and then smiling at the male, she could feel her cheek burning a little.
"Would you like to join me for a walk toward the shore of the watering hole?" He asked her curiously.

Oh, well. Well… right. Samawati’s mind was once again blank and he could barely manage to keep his wide smile from turning into something ridiculously silly. This meeting was going remarkably well, much better than he could’ve possibly hoped for. It was nothing like the complicated and deceitful exchange he’d experienced once before – so complicated in fact that it had given him a nephew and a niece instead of sons and daughters.
“If it is your wish, it would be my pleasure to escort you, my lady.” Samawati said with a little bow, standing up and turning his body towards the waterhole. He was grinning a real good-natured grin as he chuckled at his own words.

She returned his smile, a quieter sweet smile. She was excited for an adventure like this. It wasn't an adventure other than the fact that the way she was feeling about this male was new and something that she wasn't that sure about how she felt about him. It was a feeling that she had never felt before. Somethign that she had never seen before or felt before. This male was weird and how she felt for him was too. She didn't do something like this and never felt something like this but she was up for the journey
She turned toward him and nodded back. "Well, lets go."
