QUESTLINE: A Modest Proposal A Famine alchemist suddenly stops you for a second. "Hey you, come here!"
You look around.
"Yeah you, here here." They suddenly press something into your hands why, they look like a bunch of flasks.
"Look, I need you to hand these flasks out to people, you know, so they can try out my works." That sounded potentially dangerous, just sort of. "I won't know if my works have succeeded unless I have results you know. Okay, how about this, you can take all these flasks for free, just don't forget to come back to me with the results from each flask when done." OOC - You will need to make a PRP thread either in this subforum (HORSEMEN EXPERIMENTERS ONLY) or in the main thread (for Amityville). If you make it in the main thread, simply label it as PRP, you can now invite students to try out these flasks, and rp the results. The status effects affect anyone trying out the flasks. - They will need to roll a 100-sided dice, which determines which status effect they get. Don't forget you have to record the results! Once five people have tried a flask, you can then wrap up this quest and post a conclusion/ give the results to the NPC. You complete this quest once you have done so. - Anyone who has had a flask can keep the status effect for 24 RP hours - 1-20: Whomever trying the flask doesn't notice much different... that is until they start growing mushrooms all over their arms, and then grass and then flowers and... wow... they look like a walking garden. - 21 - 40: Whomever trying the flask suddenly turns very very fluffy - holy crap they are an alpaca! Maybe you should just leave them be... (they are stuck as an alpaca, they cannot talk) - 41 - 60: Whomever is trying the flask suddenly feels very light - they are floating away. They have suddenly lost the ability to maintain gravity, unless they are being held by someone, they will simply drift off into the endless sky... until the status effect wears off. -61 - 80: Whomever trying the flask suddenly falls in love with (THE FIRST PERSON THEY SEE IN THAT THREAD), they can't figure out why, but there is just something so beautiful and enchanting about them, they have to be with them forever! - 81 - 100: Whomever tries the flask suddenly turns into a minipet (of their choice), they still seem to be able to talk though, I guess they are just stuck like that for a while...

"As a fellow alchemist I would be happy to assist," Fai said, slightly evilly as he took the bottles. Of course he immediately brought the bottle up to inspect the contents, sniffing them curiously and letting a single drop fall to the ground to see what happened before looking around. A colony soldier caught his eye. He was a scientist, not a pack mule, he thought as he motioned for him. "If you would assist me, I do believe we have a job to do," he told Kiwi. "Take these, please," he said, handing over four of the bottles. "For the good of the clan, of course." Or to see what happened, whichever came first, the famine alchemist thought with wicked amusement as he started for the school.

Kiwi was more than a little taken aback by the sudden horseman's summoning of him to his aid. He had just been on his way about his daily rounds across the Clan perimeter, a task he took quite seriously.
Still ... this was for the good of the clan ... and this clansman did reek of Famine heritage. As if all those plants growing from his limbs weren't obvious enough.
" ... Alright," he answered simply, following after the clansman, careful not to spill the vial's contents clustered between his fingers. He had the ominous feeling this would be quite the trip.

"Have you met many of our new... neighbors?" Fai asked the colony soldier as they headed for the outskirts of the school. "A fascinating bunch. But very wasteful." He pullled to a stop at a grassy clearing and tugged off the top layer of his robes, leaving him covered still, but giving him a blanket of sorts to lay on the ground. "I am Faiyum, by the way, Famine alchemist. I was in the lairs when... the incident happened." Then he sat on the blanket, crossing his legs and placing the bottle in front of him. "Join me," he said, motioning to a spot next to him.

For one of the few times in her relatively short unlife, Genevieve found herself in the midst of a caffeine high. She'd been sleeping very little the past few days, struggling with the whole concept of Mort and Belladonna. She was happy for them, of course, but...
Well, jealousy was quite the thing to get over.
To compensate for her lack of sleep, she'd foregone her typical froo froo coffee drinks, and made a double shot of espresso, with ginseng. The effect was instant, and now she was aimlessly wandering around campus, with far too much of a spring in her step for a ghoul off the rebound. When she happened upon the Horsemen on their blanket, her face lit up. New people!
"Oh, hi there! Which clan are...were you from? I'm Genevieve, second year student. What's this?" Her speech was rapid, as were her movements, as she took a flask and guzzled it down.
A loud POP! resounded through the air, and where a ghoul once stood, there was a minipet.
"What...why can't I breathe normal? Why are you two so big Hey! What's that thing?!" The two Horsemen would be given a great show of a caffeinated ghoul turned pup chasing viciously after her own tail, before tripping over her two new legs and landing in a heap.
"Mmmm....someone scratch my belly~"

Fai blinked. He hadn't even had to talk her into taking one of the bottles! What delightfully naive scarelings these were! "Fascinating," he said. "It seems your FEAR is rather easily changed, isn't it? I wonder why the minipet..." he said, reaching forward and scratching her belly as it was offered. "Although thinking of it, it is a simplified version of FEAR--"
He really needed to speak with that alchemist, there were so many interesting possibilities here!

Any and all of Gene's worries were taken from her as she was given the desired belly scratches, and she became content with life.
Then she saw a squirrel.
She was gone.

"No, I haven't," Kiwi responded simply, a dryness to his tone at the thought of the Amity residents. The horseman's description seemed appropriate enough though. Kiwi nodded as Fai introduced himself. "I am Kiwi. I was ... summoned by Medea, when the incident occurred."
He didn't really wish to recall it, and 'incident' was the only word he could think of to describe that day without a negative connotation. Kiwi took a place beside his fellow horseman, crossing his legs in front of himself likewise.
The sudden appearance of the strange Amity ghost ghoul oddly fascinated him. And her abrupt transfiguration into a specter dog sent him inwardly grinning with amusement. Silly ghoul, any Famine clansman knew not to trust any but the most dignified alchemist's concoctions. ... Most had an infamous penchant for ... experimenting with anything they could get their hands on.
"I'm curious what the next one will be." he remarked with a small smirk.

Willow's tail flickered as she walked up. The vines had wilted off her and disappeared leaving a scar trailing down her hip that looked like vines. She was still wearing shorter outfits and idly scratching at where the vines had been. It was still itchy as she noticed Fai. "Hi, who's your friend?" She asked.
Her ears perked up as she looked at what they were doing.

"Hello, darkling," Fai said. "This is Kiwi, he's a fellow... Lost Clan member, a colony soldier, which makes him an expert fighter. He's assisting me in a little... give-away. A sort of 'welcome' for our new neighbors. Would you like to try one?" he asked, holding out one of the bottles. "The last ghoul that did found herself quite happy. She looked happy to you, didn't she, Kiwi?"

"Oh very," Kiwi nodded, bangles jangling as he shifted position slightly. "She ran off just now, bubbling with glee."
It wasn't an entirely false statement. And anyway, he was enjoying this 'giveaway'. "Go on, try one." He smiled.

Willow was looking at the bottles and picked up one. "Hm...."
She then looked back at Fai and Kiwi, "What's it taste like?" She asked curiously wondering if they'd even tried it themselves. "Is there a flavor to it?" She added as a second thought, better to ask than not.

Willow was watching the two, as one said minty, the other said berry. Berry, mint... Willow's face automatically contorted with the reminder of how peppermint smelled.
She looked around and then whispered to Fay, "I wouldn't tell anyone that's mint." She said before looking at the berry flavored one and taking it, almost careful at this point. Pausing to take a whiff.
"Huh... Well... bottoms up right?" She asked before turning up the bottle. For a few moments nothing happened other than her making a face of 'yuck'..... then, suddenly.... she started floating...
