When I'm in a depressed mood, I listen to 'Boys Don't Cry', over and over again.

It just makes me feel like Robert Smith knows what I'm feeling. He knows exactly what's bothering me.

What mood are you in, when you listen to a specific cure song? Does the song fit perfectly with that moode?

I just listen whenever. Usually whatever song I hear puts me in that mood.
I have my player on random so I never know what song is going to play.
Though when I am mad at my s/o for usually a stupid reason I listen to Just Like Heaven and I remember why I am with them.
Right now I am in too much pain and on 1.5 mg of ativan every 4-6 hours. Bah. I will go listen to...uhm...Why Can't I Be Me?

I'm like...always lonely, haha. Seriously. I don't have any friends that I hang out with here (hey, it's college...)... so I'm usually by myself at school or at a mall or whatever. But I got my iPod, and "A Night Like This" is the very song that makes me feel ... like, having myself is all the people I really need, haha.

That's a pretty good song I am always alone but that is mainly by choice. I am out of school and and can't go out much due to my various health problems, and since not many people have what I have not too many people are understanding so I am stuck inside with my animals and my computer.
Though I do have one friend who is going to come over more and hang out with me. (I do have a renter who doesn't work or anything, but there is something about him that has always made me uncomfortable so I avoid him). A really cheesy Cure song that helps is Doing the Unstuck. Or listen to one that really makes you wonder "what the ?!?!?" like So What?

Hehe, thanks guys, I'll check those two songs out... I actually haven't heard those yet. Haha... didn't know the Cure had a song that was titled to the point of my feelings there too. ^_^

Hehe, yeah, I have renters in my house too, Numi. One in particular that moved out some months ago always made me uncomfortable too. She almost never even said "hi" or anything when you walked by her, unless you said it first. She'd always have this expressionless, stiff way of walking and looking at you. O_o

I do that sometimes, but then again that's when I am suffering a dizzy spell or in major pain. Tonight my renter just walked into my room to grab something my s/o was using. I quickly had to pull down my shirt because I was in the process of cleaning a cut on my chest. stressed

yes, I am mean, but it is the only way he is going learn that he can't be irresponsible.
Now my Betta is staring at me.

Other song suggestions:
New Day, So What? (this makes me laugh)

hmmn I never know what mood I am in until I start listening to something. The music is what sets my mood for the day. Example yesterday I was having an alright day nothing too bad, long and tiring but quite enjoyable. then on my way home from college I decided to listen to NIN's Broken, and the combination of that and the heat put me in a real dark mood, real evil like, I was staring at people on the train with my sunglasses on so the couldn't see me. twisted It's also what I'm basing my current set of artworks on, that whatever music I listen to shapes what I paint

Doing the Unstuck is a good one; Never Enough is another good one and so is The Same Deep Water As You.

The Cure have a song to fit every mood. I think that's why I can never get tired of listening to their music. When I find myself unbelievably happy I'm blaring Mint Car or The Walk from my stereo speakers, and when I'm sad I listen to The Drowning Man or Other Voices.

When I am super angry, I always listen to "Us or Them" and sing along to it really loudly. It helps me vent.

Well, generally listening to the entire Pornography album causes me to, almost literally, writhe with angst, frustration and anger. It is one of the most angry, passionate albums ever written. And it is brilliant.
