City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Zephar strolled into the stadium head held high, Clyde trailing right behind him. He was not in uniform. Seeing the flat stage a small grin fell upon his face. This was their first battle at the arena and it seemed that they had gotten quite an easy stage. The male had heard of fairly difficult stages in this place and was glad that they were on an easy one for their first battle. "Alright Clyde, ready for this." he knew the answer. The Blitzle was quite the stubborn fool, never giving up even when they were being pursued for stealing things. Which was something the two did often. They had gotten out of some sticky situations because of his pokemon's stubbornness which surpassed his own. He knew Clyde wouldn't like it if they lost so he'd have to come up with some sort of strategy. That or Clyde just might take the battle upon himself.

Kate let out a grin as she ruffled her companion's fur. This was her first stadium battle and she could feel Ozar's excitement thrumming in tune with her own.
"We can do this, Ozar," she whispered to him. Ozar let out a bark of agreement and they both turned to their opponents. "Win or lose, it's all about the experience," she muttered to herself, narrowing her eyes.

"Okay, Ozar! Let's start this off with a Flamethrower!" Kate called, pointing a finger at the opponent's Blitzle. Might as well start things off with a bang, Kate thought.
The Growlithe took in a deep inhale and then exhaled a large plume of flames towards the dark Blitzle.

This time he was in the game giving his blitzle some commands. Previous battles Clyde had started with out him. "Dodge it Clyde and lets Use your Famous Charge Beam to up your attack!"
The blitzle gave a small snort. He didn't need to be told to doge an attack. He knew full well to dodge, and that he did jumping behind a garbage can. Even before the command was given Clyde was already charging himself up.

Kate cursed as the flame attack missed the blitzle. Ozar was strong, but Kate had come to realize he lacked accuracy in battles. Letting out a small sigh, she noticed that the blitzle was charging himself up.
"Can't have that, Ozar," she muttered. "Leer!" she called.
Ozar growled and fixed the blitzle with a terrifying glare.

"Clyde Paralyze it with Thunder!" Zephar commanded hoping that the Blitzle would listen to him.
The blitzle could feel his defense lower. Possible in his sub conscious mind he was afraid of the thing? he gave a small shake of his head. No that couldn't be possible.
Giving a small glare at his trainer, he didn't want to paralyze but attack, still he was the one in charge and obediently obeyed. Electrical charges began to gather in his mane and jumping out from behind the garbage can and released the charges he had collected upon his opponent.

Kate gasped as the lightning made contact with her Growlithe. Ozar yelped and convulsed on the ground, unable to get up and attack. He growled and yipped from his prone position on the ground, glaring daggers at the blitzle that dared leave him in this state.
Kate bit her lip and hoped Ozar would be able to make this attack work.
"Burn him with another Flamethrower, Ozar!"
Ozar got up slowly and shot out another plume of flames.

"Alright now that he's paralyzed we can go on the offensive.", But before he could even command his pokemon even more it attacked on its own causing him to sigh.
Clyde gave a small snort when his trainer began to talk again. Instead of sticking around to listen to him he attacked the downed growlithe with a thunder, aiming to harm this time instead of paralyze.

Kate let out a breath of relief as the lightning hit a trash can instead of her precious Growlithe.
"Ozar, let's try another Flamethrower!" At least one of them had to hit, Kate reasoned. Maybe third time was the charm?
Ozar growled, his skin still tingling from the shocks he had received before. Taking a deep inhale, he let out another large plume of flames. He could do this all day if he had to.

"Clyde will you at least listen?!" Zephar growled at his pokemon. But like he feared it did not listen all the Blitzle did was snort at him, taking charge of the battle itself.
Angry at himself that he failed to dodge his opponent's attack, the blitzle's body became covered in electrical charges and at the right moment Clyde charged at his opponent, aiming to ram the growlithe with his electric charged body.

Ozar growled as he was knocked over and sent careening backwards by the blitzle's attack. Shaking his head to clear it, he looked back at his trainer, awaiting orders.
Kate quickly ran through the type disadvantages in her head. Blitzle was an electric pokemon, so his weakness would be ground!
"Ozar, use Dig!"
Ozar went right to it, using his paws to dig and send large piles of dirt and city tiles flying at his opponent.
