It was also a perfect day for a walk with her pets. At least, that had been the plan until Belladonna realized none of her pets wanted to walk (it had gotten warmer lately and they just wanted to nap), and the ones who
did want to nap would not be suitable due to their, er, excessive natures. So finally, Belladonna just settled on taking her familiar Binx with her to visit the gazebo she had abandoned long ago.
It had once been intended to serve as the basis for the Garden Club she had headed so long ago, but surely had since fallen to disrepair. So with a less simpler outfit than normal, and with Binx trailing behind her, Belladonna set off.
The gazebo wasn't very far from the Reaper dorms, but it was still a little walk. Even before the witch had gotten very close she could see the immense amount of work it would take to bring it back to its former glory.
The gray wooden structure, while not very large, had been almost totally covered with creeping vines and general vegetation. A number of weeds resided around the base and where once there had been plants in little pots, the plants had expanded to large and strange things and broken their pots so that bits of earthenware littered the floor of the gazebo.
"Looks like there's a branch across the stairs." Binx said as he dashed forward and hopped lightly onto the fallen branch. And indeed there was. A storm must have blown the branch from a nearby tree and though it wasn't very large, it was a bit thick and luckily hadn't broken any part of the gazebo. Glad she had not worn a totally outrageous outfit, Belladonna approached the fallen branch with a frown. She eyed it for a moment, then dipped her hands underneath it and attempted to lift.
Attempted, because it was rather large and she failed miserably. Well, she got it a little off the stairs, but not enough to move it.
With an agitated sigh, Belladonna backed off a few steps and looked around. Was there anyone nearby who could... Ah ha!
"Oh, excuse me! Miss?" Belladonna called out to the ghoul under a nearby tree. She waved a hand and trotted closer with a smile. Ooohhh, what a cute kitty in her lap!
