It had been so long since Sparrow had just taken a walk that he had almost forgotten what it was like to relax. First it was the Horseman Trials, then it was the exchange program that had ended...not so well. And then they had had the horsemen come, that disgusting detention, the SEEDS meetings and everything seemed to be colliding one with another until it was complete and utter chaos.

The stress of everything made his head hurt. And he missed Wren something fierce.

Walking along the grounds of Amityville, Sparrow slipped his hands into his pockets and hummed a little tune to himself, not paying a great deal of attention to where he was going. Sophisticate was perched on his shoulder, every once in a while making soft, crooning noises that were only slightly reassuring.

"Oy vey," murmured Sparrow tiredly, and reached a hand up, smoothing back the bird's feathers. He crooned again, pressing his beak against Sparrow's cheek, and Sparrow sighed, exhaling slowly.

There was a rustling noise somewhere above him. Sparrow stopped abruptly, confusion drawing his brows together. Apprehension tightened his shoulders, and Sparrow held out a hand, shadows curling between his fingers just in case...

He looked upwards. Then frowned. There was a boil there, dark skinned, with vibrantly red hair and a smirk just as prominent.

"What are you doing..." Sparrow started to say, but then he trailed off, tilting his head. There was something oddly familiar about the boil...something that was triggering Sparrow's memories...

He pointed a finger towards him. "Ah! You fell on me before, months ago, didn't you?"
