Chakra no Ito [ Chakra Threads ]
Rank: E
The most basic of all Kugutsu. The user learns to mold their chakra into threads and attach them to objects allowing them to tug or throw an object. The greater the user's chakra control the longer their reach.

Kugutsu Kuchiyose: Ichi [ Puppet Summoning: Level One ]
Rank: E
A simple technique that must be learned before the user can learn any other puppet techniques...The user will simply perform a string of handsigns and call their puppet before them. This technique is used for a single puppet, and uses an additional E ranked amount of chakra per puppet summoned (1 Puppet = 1E, 2 Puppets = 2E, ect.)

Ningyoumawashi no jutsu: Ichi [ Puppet operator Technique One ]

The second most important technique performed by puppet users...The user will manifest lines of chakra from their finger tips (both hands) to their puppet, allowing them to control it

Kugutsu Henge no Jutsu [Transformation Technique]
Rank: D
Description: A modified version of the standard Henge no Jutsu. The user disguises the marionette as another person or animal.

Fukuwajutsu no Kugutsu [ Throwing your voice among the puppet ]
Rank: D
Using this jutsu, the user can project their voice from a puppet in a manner similar to ventriloquism. The user does not need to speak to transmit the sound instead transmit their voice channels through a chakra thread so their voice comes out of a puppet.

Kugutsu Kuchiyose: Ni [ Puppet Summoning: Level Two ]

The user will mimic the handsigns performed in the previous version, but will apply a heavier amount of chakra in order to active the effect. As thus, the user is able to summon three puppets in the time it once took to summon one!

Ningyoumawashi no jutsu: Ni [ Puppet operator Technique Two ]

The user will emit strings of chakra from their finger tips and connect them to up to three different puppets, allowing for a much wider variety of attacks

Kugutsu Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Puppet Change of Body Stance Technique ]

An advance technique that combines the standard Kawarimi no jutsu with Chakra threads the users is able to swap places with something attached by their threads or swap other objects attatched with threads.

Cut Wire

The user will quickly release their control over a puppet, causing their strings to disappear and allow them to maneuver more freely. Because it forces the user to release control of a puppet, it is typically only used for defensive dodging purposes

Wire Snap

Realizing the costs of using 'Cut Wire' this technique was developed to allow the user to connect strings to a puppet at an alarming rate. The user will simply bring forth chakra strings to their finger tips, aim at a puppet, and use a burst of chakra to connect to the target almost in an instant

The user does as they've done as previous, but uses additional chakra and is able to summon a good amount of puppets or a single Human Puppet

Ningyoumawashi no jutsu: San [ Puppet operator Technique Three ]

The user generates strings from their finger tips, allowing them to control up to 10 puppets or a single Human puppet

Name: Kugetsu Hōin [ Puppet Sealing Method ]

Requirements: Capture type puppet
After capturing an opponent in the capture core of a puppet the user then seals that puppet in a storage scroll with the victim still inside.

Kugutsu Kage Bushin no Jutsu [ Puppet Shadow Clone Technique ]
Rank: A
The user creates a shadow clone of one of their summoned puppets. The clone has half the resistance of the original and only lasts 5 post before disappear. Capable of using all the mechanisms of the original. Does not copy the abilities of Hitokugutsu or Accursed type puppets.

Sōen: Hitomi Gokū [ Puppet Performance: Skillful Achievement with a Human Body ]
Rank: A (S if seizing control)
The user attaches chakra threads onto a living or dead person and manipulates them similar to how they would a puppet. With living individuals it requires a willing body though a the puppeteer can exert greater control to take control of their body ( must be a lower rank than yourself ).

Blade Wire
Rank A
After detaching a chakra string from a puppet, the user will lash out on their target as if the wire were a whip. Because it is formed from pure chakra, the wire is very difficult to cut and is as sharp as a sword

Mokujin/Akaghara
These are a list of jutsu for a different type of puppet art specializing in the simplistic Mokujin who were designed as taijutsu combat dummies but later modified for practical combat. Made from a series segments and able to weather a variety of attacks. The Akaghara are simple wood marionettes with serrated blades on the arms and a kunai shooter in the mouth.


Mokujin Sōjutsu [ Wooden Man Manipulation ]

The Wooden Puppet Manipulation Technique allows the user to control wooden training dummies by their own will or by using special chakra infused wards. Can also control Akaghara. User can control up to a combination of 30 Mokujin and/or Akaghara. Must store them in a special Mokujin scroll.

Mokujin Hitsugi [ Wooden Men Coffin ]
Rank: B
The users builds a small pagoda shaped house out of Mokujin and reinforce it with chakra so harden the structure more. Usually used to confine a target and could be made smaller to resemble a coffin to transport.

Mokujin no Kabe [Wall of Wooden Men ]
Rank: B
The user stacks mokujin to create a wall. The more mokujin used the longer the wall is. The mokujin are reinforced with chakra to add surprising versatility to the types of attacks it can endure.

Mokujin Juuhou [ Wooden Man Heavy Artillery ]
Rank: B
The user have the Mokujin fire off spinning segments loaded with explosives equal to in force of 5 explosive tags. When used by the Akaghara they will line up and lob explosive kunai.

Akaghara Sousoukyoku [ Akaghara Funeral March ]
Rank: B
Using Mokujin Sōjutsu the user will send Akaghara in a relentless wave at the opponent. They are enriched with chakra improving their resistance to B and coating their blades in chakra taking on the properties of the user's chakra nature.

Mokujin Rendan [ Wooden Man Combo ]
Rank: A
Reinforcing the Mokujin with their chakra the Mokujin begin moving faster and hitting harder. The Mokujin with then engage the target with a series of spinning attacks going as far as to launch spinning segments.

Mokujin Hyoui Tenshin Soujutsu [ Wooden Men Possessed Body Transfer Manipulation Technique ]

The user constructs a multistory pagoda around a group. For every individual not the user, a Mokujin or Akaghara will appear mimicking their hand-to-hand combat skills causing the to fight each other unknowingly. The user is at the top floor of the pagoda remote viewing the floors.

Akahigi: Hyakki no Souen [Red Secret Technique: Performance of 100 puppets ]

Allows the user to summon the puppet sect known as 'The Red Army'. It should be noted that upon summoning the user will in fact have to apply chakra strings to each puppet

Sanbō Kyūkai [ Three Jewels Crushing Suction ]

Requirement: Puppet Class, Three Jewels Seals: Butsu (仏), Hō (法) and Sō (僧)
This technique is a performance by puppets #4, #6, and #8 from the Chikamatsu Collection. The three puppets get into a triangular formation and by opening the mechanisms marked with "Buddha," "Dharma," and "Sangha," respectively, they invoke this technique. A terrifying tornado breaks out and sucks the targets into the centre of the formation. Everything that is sucked into the centre is completely crushed with tremendous force and shot out from the back. However, the vacuum can be overloaded, leaving the three puppets vulnerable.

Fūinjutsu: Shishi Heikō [ Sealing Technique: Lion Closing Roar ]

This sealing technique completely blocks the target's chakra with a sealing formula (封印式, fūin-shiki) drawn on the ground or a wall. This is done by closing all the tenketsu of the person caught in the middle. Signifying this is the stylised kanji for "close," or "shut" (閉, hei) drawn in the middle of the sealing formula.

This Jutsu allows the user to summon a free moving Nightmare marionette that mirrors the target in order to bite the target. Once the target is bitten an inactive seal is left on the user.

A seal that takes a portion of chakra [100]. The chakra that is sealed begins to multiply without affecting the unseal chakra, but only applies to an inactive seal ( stored chakra increase by 50 every 3 post). Active seals don't build chakra and restrict the user's ability to use bloodline techniques about C rank.

Daini Zuiichi: Hiru Kaiin [ Second Dance: Seal Release ]

This Jutsu allows a nightmare marionette to use hijutsu or doujutsu only if its copied target has a Leech Seal. This jutsu can also remove seals or render them inactive.

Summons multiple nightmare marionettes based without any target. The user summons forth as many nightmare marionettes as people they have copied. The jutsu requires a tremendous amount of chakra to perform, and more to maintain.

Kurasuri Engeki is the art of death specializing in the use of the tactical weapon the Marionette. Masters of this style set the battlefield like a stage and executes their attacks like a well rehearsed play. The user attacks a airborne target by throwing a puppet with blades and claws spinning like a drill and before it strikes support puppet let loose a volley of explosives giving the appearance that when the first puppet hit it exploded through.

Two or more puppets will touch hands threading razor wire between their fingers and try to encircle the target while another puppet draws attention away in a more aggressive attack.

Can't forget the dolly love...





Marionettes are the foundation of the puppet users. Without them they would be no more than people with chakra threads. These weapons are by no means simple and are made from a variety of parts. Just as the imagination can be endless so can the shapes of the marionette be.

Types:

Type 1: The most common variety of marionette made from a combination of woods and metals. Only thing truly special about them are the mechanisms used to surprise their enemies.

Light-Attacker - Marionettes that are light weight by design. Built for maneuverability. Equipped mostly with hidden blades, wire reels, and shooters such as senbon, kunai, or small explosive.

Heavy-Attacker - Marionettes with larger and sturdier frames. What they lack in mobility they more then make up for in power. Using mechanisms such as flamethrowers, fluid sprayer, etc...these marionettes can me as formidable as any Shinobi.

Defensive - Marionettes of superior bulk designed to take a variety attacks. Designed with sturdy shields or shell that acts as a primary support platform for the puppet user. Generally lacking in diversity in offensive mechanisms they can still put up a fight.

Trap - Marionettes build with the purpose of containing people. Varying in size and restraints their primary function is to catch, seal and possibly kill the captive. With core hollowed out most of its offensive tools are in the limbs and head.

Construct - Marionettes design for their ease of assembly. Generally made of simplistic mechanisms but are interchangeable allow for superior adaptability in the right hands.

Accursed - Marionettes made with unique materials under unique circumstances that afford the marionette a unique ability such as altering mechanisms when chakra types are introduced, sealed jutsu, etc...

Hitokugustu - Made from the living these Marionettes are feared for the simple fact that they are able to retain jutsu they had once knew in life. Also able to retain hijutsu or genkai they may have possessed in life and equipped with any number of mechanisms they provide quite the surprise factor.

The core is able to store 3 lightning scrolls to fuel its electric tentacles. The central core hides a explosive launcher and is able to fire toxic pins from its arm. The core is covered my a dense dark tarp that is constantly in motion skew the relatively small size of the core.
