So who will you ask around for? Riyo or Mitsu? Atropos was enjoying herself. She was happy to be in Halloween the way a fully grown adult would feel after having moved far, far away from their hometown. Nostalgic, in a way. Despoina shrugged, idly toying with the talisman stuck to her forehead. Don't pull it off. Your body will lose animation. Ah, yes. Right. I think Mitsu is my best bet. Lattice said Riyo is a cat...and the other girl made it clear she was a wolf. Besides, Mitsu has a somewhat confirmed boyfriend like my little dog girl. It made sense. Atropos made a pleased little noise. Whatever your plan is, take your time. I'm enjoying this. Despoina chuckled. I figured.
But where could she even begin? Despoina sighed, standing out in the middle of the area where the paths for the dorms all met. If she were a wolf girl, where would she go? Maybe she'd go see her 'boilfriend'.
What is this maybe s**t? She'd definitely go see her 'boilfriend'.
He looked like a reaper. Atropos piped up helpfully, sounding cheerful. A reaper? Keep going straight, the path right there leads to the dorm. Despoina nodded, pausing mid-step and frowning.
If you knew how the hell to get around here why didn't you say so before!?
Atropos laughed. I only know how to get to specific places. Reapers and demons have many shiny trinkets. I like shiny trinkets. Huh. O..kay then. She shrugged to herself and continued on, looking and feeling as lost as ever.

With a frighteningly bubbly skip to her step, a very hip dressed valkyrie burst through the reaper dorm doors just as Despoina came closer, flung her arms out into the air, and started to sing out as loud as she could.
"OH WHAT A BEAUTIFULS NIIIGHT TIIIMEEE, OH WHAT A BEAUTIFULS- ach, hallos there!" She'd croaked in mid word as she noticed another person nearby, and jumped down all of the steps at once, jogging over towards the ghoul. Once she got near enough to see who she was dealing with, however, she was mildly shocked to realize she'd never seen her before.
But something much, much more important took precedence, and Freya stared at her in horrified shock.
"Oh nos.." She whispered, her voice cracking under pressure. "Yeh.. yeh.."
She reached up and tried to rip the talisman paper right off of the jiang-shi's face. "Yeh've got PAPER ON YEHR FACE!!!!"

She heard her before she actually saw her. The doors flying open, the sound of footsteps...the..loud singing at the top of her lungs. Candace stopped, just staring at the winged girl. Wait..she recognized her. Kind of. She looked like the angelic student she had seen at the haunted house!
She was acting a lot differently now than she had that day. But she didn't have that annoying giant viking dude in a loincloth by her side right now.
Good.
The look on the girl's face when she approached her had Candace worried. Oh no? Yeh? What did yeh mean..? You? She...what? Don't tell her this b***h saw through her golem already.
"AHHHHHH NONONONONO!" Candace cried out, jerking her head away from the grabby hands and slapping a hand against her forehead to keep the talisman in place. Despite not needing to breathe she was panting from fear and panic, eyes wide. The only feeling she was missing was a pounding heart. "D-don't...pull that off! It's...it's part of my...it's..it's my talisman! If you pull that off I'll fall apart!" RUDE b***h! Good god! What kind of person just reaches up and does that!?

The shout made Freya's hand detract quickly, and her face crunched up in guilt. "Oh my Jack, I totally didn't knows, I am so sorry! I will not touch it agains, I promise! But ach, how do yeh sees with that things in front of yehr face, always waving! What do yeh does when yeh has teh puts yehr makeup on! Or if there's a strong wind blowing? And let's not even discuss the possibility of bangs!"
Freya was truly distraught that this ghoul had to live an entire unlife with a piece of paper stuck to her face. What a tragedy.
"Acccch, I am so sorry I almost touched it, really.. listen, maybe we starts on a whole new foots okay?" She held her hand out firmly, grinning an awkward grin. "My name is Freya, what is yehrs?"

Oh, good. She was a quick learner. She could deal with that, in fat she could use that. Were all the students here stupid? Candace kind of hoped not. It'd be too easy. Despoina sighed with relief and calmed herself, removing her hand from the paper and actually looking very happy to hear the girl's concerns. Okay, so it wasn't so bad that she couldn't stand this ******** talisman. "I hate it, honestly. It's always in my peripheral. Ugh." She groaned and swatted at the talisman. "It's so annoying. Maybe it was shorter it wouldn't be so bad, you know? I don't dare cut it though, because what if that is just as bad as removing it."
...This chick had priorities. Make up and bangs. The could possibly get along were she human.
Cute.
At her apology Despoina smiled and waved a hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. Happens all the time. I've nearly pulled it off a few times myself. It's nice to meet you, Freya. My name is Despoina." She took the offered hand and gave it a strong shake, one that matched the size of her golem.
Hmm..she came out of this dorm.. "These are the reaper dorms, right?" She looked past Freya, humming thoughtfully.

Freya turned her head to look back at the building she'd just come from, before slowly turning back to the ghoul. There was hesitation in her eyes. "Wow.. yeh really are new, aren'tchyeh?" A nervous giggle, and then she was over it. "Ja, this is reaper dorms, where I lays my head. Were yeh meetings up with someone in here? Maybe is someone I know?" The urge to be helpful overrode any worry that might have sprung up, even for a moment, and her casual, easy smile was back. Looking up at the paper once more, she bit her lip.
"Have yeh considered a hairclip? Teh holds it back on teh side? Like.." She slowly reached out, in case the ghoul wanted to stop her again - but if she didn't, Freya would push the talisman just slightly, so that it twisted loosely and the end was pressed against Despoina's temple. Then she let go, and the talisman fell back into place.

s**t. She knew that look. She'd just ******** up. It was time to go. It was time to find a closet, ditch this golem, and pick up another one. A redo button. She had one. Yes. Time to go.
...Or..not. "Ah, yeah. I haven't really had time to explore, adjusting and all that, so...yeah." Despoina chuckled, giving Freya a strained smile. Good, good. She was going to help her! She was the second student to hesitate at her. Hm..she'd have to really watch what she said. "Kinda! I'm looking for um..a boil named Shun? His ghoulfriend dropped a bunch of seeds so I wanted to give them to at least him and hope that he'd return them to her, you know?" Give up a few of these silver seeds for this? Sure. She'd give up what she had to.
A hairclip? Despoina hummed and watched Freya's fingers warily, not stopping her just yet but looking ready to should she do something wrong.
Her eyes widened. "Oh my G--" JACK! "Jack! That's..genius! Why didn't I...that's a great idea! Thank you, Freya! A pause. She pouted. "I don't have any hairclips. They're all at home." In a room she couldn't sleep ******** monsters.

Freya's eyes widened into saucers when she mentioned Shun, and namelessly Mitsu. "Ach, but I knows them! I knows them both! They are good friends, ja. I can helps yeh finds them! They're usually togethers, they are in love, yeh knows? So they likes private places teh does the kissings and the no-no touchings. We will goes on a hunts for them!"
She squealed, clearly pleased at the idea she'd formed, and then bit her tongue childishly as the ghoul mentioned the lack of hair clips. She took Despoina's hand and tugged her inside. "Don't be silly, yeh comes inside, I has hundreds of hairclips. And lots of other things. We will does something nice with yehr hair, hah?"
