Occupation: Unemployed, occasional busker (street performer)
Personality: Rather free spirited, Nanako is interested in seeing where life is going to take her, not so much with making plans and coming up with anything on her own. She is willing to try anything once, always seeking out new things to make her life more interesting. She wants experience as much as possible in her life. However she also has yet to find something that she can be passionate about and she changes her mind about what she is interested in constantly, it tends to make her seem aimless and flighty (which she is).
Nanako is generally a happy person, though she is quick to get in a foul mood when someone tries to boss her around. She likes other people for the most part and and will be more than happy to make a new aquintence at any time but she won't go out of her way in order to impress other people in hopes that they like her. They can either take her as she is or leave her, most of the time she doesn't care what they choose. Every now and then the case is different, say if she has a crush but it is not often.
Background: Nanako was a fairly energetic child. There was always something that she was doing, sports in school other extra cirricular activities and all the like. She was never particularly good at any of them, some she failed at completely but that never seem to bother her or make her stop trying. She didn't excell at school either, doing pretty much average in everything but math where her marks were a little above normal.
It wasn't until she took music in highschool on a lark that she found anything that she was good at. She picked up a flute and was pretty much a natural at it. It quickly became her highest mark. Her mother was overjoyed at finding something that Nanako did well in, she had been worried that her daughter would graduate highschool with no goal in mind, so pushed her to work more at it. It was fine when she was still in school but when that drew to a close and Nanako was pushed to apply to music schools she got annoyed.
Nanako had never intended to do music for anything more than fun and she didn't like the pressure that she was feeling. She never applied to school for any reason at all. A few years passed with constant nagging from her mother too do something other than simply waste her time, Nanako could take no more and with some money that she had saved with various odd jobs that she had worked (though none lasted long), she moved out on her own.

Family
- Mother - Her mother really wants Nanako to succeed so she pushes her a lot. Nanako hates the pressure and it has strained their relationship and even drove Nanako to leave home.
- Father - Loves her father dearly, he is a little more on the supportive side when it comes to what she does with her life.

Aspiration The sheet music had been sitting on the cheap stand for a while now, the case of her flute open and laying at the foot of the stand. It was suppose to be practice time a couple hours ago but it had lasted a grand total of about five minutes before Nanako had given up and turned to the tiny tv in her tiny apartment. She couldn't quite find the motivation to actually get to the practicing.
Music was always meant to be a hobby not a career. Yes she had turned out to be better at it than she expected but that didn't mean it was what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. The fact of the matter was she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life, she couldn't tell you where she saw herself in ten or twenty years because she simply didn't know. Her mother always complained that she didn't have drive but maybe she would have if she found something she wanted to do.
It was odd but that in of itself was what she wanted for her life right now. Nanako wanted time and freedom, she wanted to live her life for herself and find something that she could be passionate enough about that she could make it into something that she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Apparently that wasn't a good enough goal for her, maybe it was just that she didn't know how to explain herself properly because she had tried to tell her parents and it just didn't work. It was at least part of the reason she had moved out, she need to be on her own and the freedom it entailed.
