1. It was a warm and breezy day in the rouge lands. the smell of the forest trees filled the air, as as Lulu and Gen ran through the trees, they were searching for a special plant there mother(Lin) had sent them to fetch. Gen was very excited, he loved leaning about all different types of plants from his mother. He wanted to learn everything she knew. He was also very excited because this time Lulu was with him. For some reason out of all of his brothers and sisters she was his favorite.
2. Mother and father were arguing again, and mother went off yet again to talk to the trees. A dark cub hid amonsgt her siblings quietly sunk in to their bodies.. Father saw something different in her. Special.. She looked a lot like him, but colors of mother, but thoughs eyes.. were so.. blank. When they fought she would stare at them.. This time when mother ran off, she waited til everyone was doing something else to follow her.. Drawn to why mother spoke to trees, and why she would speak to plants. She wanted to 'know'.. Retracing her mothers steps til she found herself too short to jump over a HUGE fallen tree.. Looking around to find someway.. to jump over it.. While contemplating- her head shot up with the sound of a twig snapping. Mute, she made no noise of surprise but laid in wait for whatever made the sound to show themselves.
3. "……Hey sis guess you caught me. Sorry if i scared you, I saw you run off and I wanted to know what you were up too. So i followed you. What are you doing out here anyway." He had noticed her run off in the same direction as there mother and decided to follow. Out of all his brothers and sisters he was always most protective of her so he would often follow her to make sure she didn't get into any trouble.
4. It seemed everyone was on edge. since the disappearance of their three siblings. Mother... She looked back to where their mother went, then looked back at her brother. Giving him a hefty nod of acceptance. Then lowered herself to try and squeeze her way under the fallen try. When she coundn't find a way that way, she wiggled back and slowly circled to try and see if she could jump up and somehow grab that way, but when she did- she held on briefly before starting to slide down.. A disgrunted sound came from her as she tried to pull herself up..
5. Seeing that she was having trouble he quickly crawled underneath her to try and help. He used his head to nudge her as high as he could. Getting on his hine legs he pushed her trying to get her onto the tree. "Sis can you reach yet?" He started to feel his legs shake as he struggled to hold her up.
6. Lulu wasn't exactly like her mother but sometimes, speech escaped her and when she was pushed up a soft meep escaped her before grabbing tightly and hoistering herself up on top of the log. The extra kick was just enough, and before she knew it- she was on top of the log and out in the near distance she saw their mother...
She stared at the female with a blank look of a feeling that was suppose to be there.. but wasn't. Then she turned when she heard her brother wonce more. Breaking the silence between them with her attention grabbed another way. Not that she was doing it on purpose, but the air about her.. was.. different..
7. "Sis are you ok"!? Now that she was up he had to find a way to get up him self. "Lulu look for a vine or something". "…. Or maybe a different way up". "By the way, What are you doing out here anyway"? He had an idea what she was doing but he always tried finding different ways to start conversation with her, Since she was always so silent. He often wondered what she might be thinking.
8. Her zone was broken, she turned and looked down at her brother. Then looked around for something to help him up with... She knew her strength probably couldn't match his- or their father's. Then, she started to run, full dash til she found a branch sticking out of the upper part. For a moment she contemplated, then started to jump on the branch, that wasn't gunna work. Nope. She thought more on it, anaylzing it before turning around and kicking it, enough to tare it almost half way down. A good part of it was still hanging on as she turned and looked back at him. "Mom." She stated... To his earlier question, and leaned down waiting for his arrival..
9. "Mom"?Acting more surprised than he really was. As he jumps up onto the branch being carful not to fall." Are you worried about her too"? He jumps up next to her and nudges her tenderly behind the ear with his nose. "Thanks sis. So do you have any idea were she might be".
10. The mosty affection she had given since Xiao. When shadow and Xiao left, she felt that deep sense of emptiness. This wasn't to say that her closest brother- the one before her hadn't complete her. No, every one of her siblings had meant something now. She found herself clinging to be different and it overwelmed her enough to mute her words. Meek and soft, she gave him a hefty nod when he met her upon the log.
"There." She faced where she had first started to gaze off. It was their mother.. Speaking to the trees. Tears in her eyes as she laughed and continued to show how dreadful she was for losing three of their siblings.. Her words can sometimes be heard from where they were.. Lulu found it absolutely nessissary to watch over her. But something was slowly unscrewing in her head as she watched her mother again and again go out in to the nothingness of her mind.. Trapped there.. Lulu had much deeper thoughts than the norm, but to put it in words? It would simply escape her.
"Pop sayds that she wasn't always like this.. There was a time where she was happy.." Breaking the silence between them as she gazed at her mother full of pity..
11. "What should we do"? starteled that she had said so much he tried not to seem so, as he wondered what they could do for there mother. He had not realized till now how sad she was, That is until now hearing his sisters words. "I feel like we should do something, I mean shes always been there for us. Even if it ment fighting with dad". He had a sudden feeling of great sadness for his mother, Wondering how she might have felt about his lost siblings.
