The sea, it was so vast. The lone nova felt even the more lost within this wide open sea of water that some points she lost sight of land all together. Today the yellow and black colored nova mare wandered through the brightly colored coral off the sea coast. Weaving her way through the living rock and poking her nose into that holes she could, Nina seemed fascinated by what lived in and around the coral. Poking her nose into one such hole in the rock, something pinched her nose causing her to yelp and pull back. Shaking her head and rubbing her nose against her leg, Nina peered down at the crab that had gotten her with its claw.
"that wasn't too nice." She muttered to the crab before her attention was drawn away by the schools of fish that lived here too.
Moving away from the coral and more towards the open waters, Nina drifted towards the surface. She didn't know why, but she felt quite at home out her in the waves, though she still wanted to find her way home. She just wasn't sure where she should start. Giving a sigh, she flicked her ring studded tail lazily keeping her head atop the water just enough to watch the sea going birds. Life seemed, tranquil, but how long was that to last?

Miroslava wasn't too far from home. At least she didn't think so. But even if she was, she'd just ask the fish to show her the way back. The same fish who had dragged her away out this far while she was trying to round them up. They kept listing over to one side, creating a huge gap in her picture she was trying to form with them. The tree didn't need that much space between the branches. Then she tried to bring in new fish to serve as maybe a furry animal in the tree gap, but they kept getting confused with the green fish so the tree looked like it had suffered through having things thrown at it.
Finally, she had given up, screaming in irritation at the fish in such a way they all scattered to the four corners of the ocean. If the vast sea even had corners. It was more open space and lumpy coral with holes and peeping fish eyes. Those holes had many a peeping fish, now. Miro glared at them and swam off in search of either a large collection of pebbles on the sandy floor. Or more co-operative fish. She thought she saw a bright yellow on in the distance and decided on more fish, until she discovered it was just a Nova.
Disappointment was quickly squished by curiosity. Not just a Nova, but a different Nova.
Moving silently forward, Miro reached up with a hoof to tap the yellow mare on the side.

Nina hadn't heard nor saw anything at first as she was too lost in the movements of the birds over head. Thinking back to her parents, her father was graced with a horn and her mother with lovely butterfly like wings. While she was born to be in the water, ever away from her siblings. But the perks were that she spent a lot of time with her grandfather and learned much about living where her family could not. When something brushed against her side, she turned her head half dream like to stare aimlessly at the nova that had appeared at her side. It took Nina a few minutes to register that she wasn't alone before she back paddled, splashing a little with her black tail fin.
Coming back underwater she shook her head, clearing the haze before staring at the other Nova once more. Taking in its bright coloring that looked to her as if it would be able to hide itself very well in the coral beneath them. Giving her head another shake, to make sure she wasn't just dreaming that someone else was close she stared again.
"Hello there, Where did you come from?" She asked, not having seen another soul around the waters for quite some time.

Miro backed away, keeping a respectful distance between her and the other mare. She kept her tail curled around her lower body, letting her legs sway in the currents to keep herself from drifting downwards. Bright like the sun she had seen during her travels to the other regions of the ocean and even the rivers, she was not familiar to the purple Nova, but would no less find it difficult to make the coral beneath their fins her home. Unless told otherwise, Miro concluded she must live around here. Maybe in an area not yet discovered by the tomboy.
She wasn't exactly sure what she had hoped to accomplish by poking at the strange Nova. She was, however, glad it didn't accomplish anything negative. Miro wasn't sure how she'd take someone yelling at her for disturbing their apparently quiet moment.
Tilting her head in curiosity over the stranger, Miro spoke with a soft voice that went strange with her boyish ways.
"Oh." Raising a hoof, she pointed in the direction she had left the school of fish in the coral. "Over there. While you were above the waves. What are you doing?"
