Recently I have started writing some ES fanfiction. (Since I can't write Excel to save my life, I'm writing the reasoning behind Ilpalazzo's ambitions.)
So what I wanna know is, has anyone else tried to write it? Has anyone read any? Share! Shaaaaare!

I never wrote any fanfictions, but I've written a comic where all the Excel Saga characters tried to take over my town and stuff. I have read some fanfictions, but I usually just get mad at them, cuz the writers always forget Excel refers to herself in the third person and they just ruin the rest of the characters. It is 'third' person... right?

I tried writing Excel Saga fiction. Serious fanfiction based on the last episodes. I still have one on fanfiction.net somewhere.
Now I just do fanart. I tried writing a dojinshi too.
If you don't mind, I would like to read it when you're done. I love EXS fanficiton. whee

I used to write fanfiction, but my writing style tends to be choppy and I use stream-of-consciousness a lot. My writing is kind of a cross between Faulkner and Hemington's styles. I always end up being too much to-the-point, and not adding enough "padding" inbetween.

Like I said, I have no faith in myself and I'm sure I can't write Excel to save my life. I doubt I can write Ilpalazzo very well either, but you know, I'm just gonna cop out on that by saying, this is the story of how he became the way he is now, so it's totally okay that I have the fanfiction writing skills of a retarded crackhead monkey because I HAVE AN EXCUSE!
I read a few on ff.net, but the summaries and/or first lines were really upsettingly bad in most of 'em. I only really enjoyed "Of Snow and Blankets and More Snow" by Rhianwen.... I feel sorry for Excel Saga fanfiction, and even sorrier that I am contributing something I think sucks llike a Hoover. But, you know, I'm my own worst critic, everyone always says.
Yeah, I'll post a link when I finally finish typing up the first chapter. (At this point, it's sheer laziness. Technically I could have had it uploaded and being reviewed right now, but I'm apparently too lazy to swivel on over to my pink spiral notebook and type up those words in it.
There's an amazing amount of angst in Chapter 2, especially considering it's an Excel Saga fic. ...I hate myself.

I always wanted to start a FF where it was the story behind Nabeshin, his friends, his motivation, and ending at the end of the series. I should probably start.... right now! *starts writing*

I started to write an Excel fanfic, but that was when my fanfic-writing phase was dying. sweatdrop It was an FF7 crossover and I was writing it to satirize a book. whee I think it was okay, if I go by a single review and what my friends told me.

Fanfics can be cool, but they can also be crap depending on who wrote them and whether they were serious about it or not. However i prefer to stick with the manga, cos the original is the best!
