It was a kitten and it wasn't that old and it was my first time watching a pet of mine die in front of me.
We don't have a lot of money so we couldn't have helped and so it just died... And my mom wanted to THROW IT IN THE TRASH CAN!
I looked at her (and I rarely talk back to my mother in a serious matter, only jokingly) and I told her NO we are not throwing a house pet into the garbage that's just horrible! And she ranted on about how I shouldn't pick up strays and I was so angry that I didn't answer her,,, I mean my kitten, little baby kitten, just died and you are giving me a lecture on stray animals! That's not what I wanted to hear at the moment!
And so in the end I buried the kitten BY MYSELF without help from either of my parents
I don't care if we only had that kitten for a little less than three weeks... YOU DON'T THROW AWAY A DEAD HOUSE PET

The same thing happened to me, with this tabby girl kitten I named Aj. Minus the jerk mother. :/

i wan walk to two cow farms and a pig farm and still see the house. then about a mile down is another farm, one for crops. lotsa cats. and i can't forget the theme park 4 miles away: a lot of cats there in the back areas
