Hi, my name is Angus Maclachlan
I'm a man.
I work in the Head of the Department of Magical Transportation.
I'm 38 years old.
The house I was in was Ravenclaw.
I may seem quiet and reserved, as well as typically deep in thought but I'm really someone who's filled with quite a few witty statements that never really seem to make since unless you take the time to decipher it. I have been known to have a bit of a temper, as I can be prideful.
My background story is my own, but I'll share it with you. I was born in the city of Iverness, which is in Scotland, in case you didn't know. My parents were Cora and Balfour Maclachlan. I have a younger sister, a mute squib as it so happens by the name of Tara Maclachlan. I've always felt the need to look after her, and since my parents refused to send her to Hogwarts with me, I always worried about her.
Speaking of Hogwarts, I did get my letter when I turned eleven. My parents were quite thrilled and hoped that I would get into their own house. They were both Eagles. Luckily, when I wasn't spending time with Tara, I was busy reading books and learning more about the world that I could not see. By the time the Sorting came around, it really wasn't a surprise that I ended up in Ravenclaw. My parents and sister were so proud. I had quite a few friends while at Hogwarts, but my favorite part of school was getting letters from Tara. That didn't even change when I started noticing girls.
Now, I suppose you'll want some sort of fairy tale love story. Well, that's not what happened. I fell in love quite a bit. I may have been a Ravenclaw, but when it came to people, I let my heart decide. Sometimes that was a horrible decision, as some of my ex-girlfriends turned out to be cheating on me. Never did I ever think of going out with a girl in my own year and house by the name of Iona Rose. However, shortly after our graduation we both met by chance in Hogsmeade and got to talking. Before I knew it, I was asking her out, but sadly, she was with someone at the time. Crushed, I went back home to Scotland only to recieve an owl from Iona a few months later wanting to know if I was still interested in going out with her. Well, she's know Iona Machlaclan if that tells you anything.
Together, we have four children. The eldest is Jamesina, who is ten years old. She's followed by nine year old Akira and the six year old twin boys Dallas and Dewey. We live in my parent's manor near Iverness with my sister.
I enjoy Shakespeare, being myself, observing my surroundings, and nature.
I despise mice, things that smell bad, utter stupidity, and those who think they're better than everyone else.
My wand is a Twelve and a half inch Pear with a core of dragon heartstring.

I may seem charming, polite and bubbly but I'm really someone who knows what they're talking about. A lot of people think that I can't be intelligent because of the way I behave, but who's to say I can't be the way I'd like to be?
My background story is not one you'll find in any story book. My parents were Muggles by the names of Nessa and Collin Rose of Clarkston, Scotland. They were about the most mundane people you'd ever meet. My mother was a teacher at the local school and my father worked as a lawyer. They were both fairly intelligent people, but they were stubborn. They refused to believe that their daughter, their only child, could be a witch. Even when the letter came and someone came to explain to them, they did not believe it. However, they were soon forced to accept the fact.
At Hogwarts, I felt as though I had arrived home. Due to my parents' jobs, they hardly had time for me. They also refused to let me out of the house most of the time and so before that, most of my friends had come from books. When I was sorted into Ravenclaw, I was delighted to see that there were a few others that had done about as much reading as I had. Understandably, I had a few close friends, but I never really had a relationship. I was far too busy taking classes for one during my school years.
A couple days after graduating, I was visiting Diagon Alley when a young Spanish wizard named Gregorio Mendez started flirting with me. One thing led to another, and soon we were engaged. However, I should have known better. As it turns out, he was already engaged to a girl in Sevilla, and loved her more than I. So he left me, but not before I gave him a black eye. Once I had regained my composure, I remembered that I had met a former classmate of mine in Hogsmeade a few months earlier and he had been interested in going out with me. So I sent him an owl, and honestly fell in love with him. That's right, I ended up marrying Angus Maclachlan.
We currently live in Iverness with our four children and his mute Squib sister. It's nice having Tara around, but I do feel a bit of jealousy between us. Here I am, a muggle born witch, and she's a Squib. I don't think that it's really fair.
I enjoy being with my family, reading a good book, writing, and uncovering hidden knowledge.
I despise when everyone is the same, writer's block, bad music, and spiders. Spiders terrify me.

◆ Personality: She might not look like it, but James is a very good listener and takes what others say seriously. She is also a very empathetic and understanding person. James is very quick to think of solutions to the problems she faces. Of course, most of the time she would rather say her ideas than put them into place, but that doesn't mean she won't if she has to. She is an organized person who has to have everything in its place and will feel very off if it is not so. James is also an ambitious person who knows what she wants and has a plan to get it. There are many people who call her a reliable, charismatic person who is quite tolerant of people and things different from what she's used to. However, James is far from perfect, and depending on the day, she'll be the first to tell you that. In fact, she might even tell you that she's the worst person to walk the face of the planet. She finds it hard to make difficult decisions because she can't stop thinking about all of the consequences related with each option. She doesn't react to criticism well as she has strong ideas on how her life should be lived and feels as though criticism is a personal attack on her.

◆ Pre-Hogwarts: I was the first child born to Angus and Iona Maclachlan. A year later, my sister Akira was born. We were raised in Iverness, Scotland. Our Aunt Tara lived with us. She was a mute squib, and our parents were worried that we might end up like her. I showed a few signs of magic before my eleventh birthday when I received my Hogwarts letter.
◆ Hogwarts: I was sorted into Ravenclaw like my parents. At first I was kind of confused by the Hat's choice. In my mind, I thought that I should have been a Gryffindor. The summer of my third year, I figured out what the Hat saw that I missed.
That was right after I joined a secret group known as the Chimeras. A couple of the other members were kidnapped by a group known as the Family. They were vampire hunters for the most part, but they also took other magical creatures in an effort to make a potion that would cure everything. We went after them, and honestly, I don't know what we were thinking. We probably wouldn't have made it out if we didn't have help.
Despite the severe grounding that I received on account of the fact that in order to take care of the Chimera stuff, I had to sneak out, my sister and I were able to start a student run newspaper at Hogwarts. We called it The Daily Dragon. It wasn't a daily paper or anything. We just liked the name. We kept going with it, even into my fifth year when I was made prefect and had to study for the O.W.L. exams. We were quite dedicated to it, and that's what got us into trouble.
You see, my fifth year was the same year that a bunch of muggleborns were falling asleep for no reason. Professors, students, nobody was safe. Being curious, Akira and I tried to investigate. We were in the courtyard one night when we saw a man who appeared to be drawing what I later learned to be runes in the dirt. He spotted us and kidnapped us, which meant that I missed my O.W.L.s. We weren't rescued until the middle of summer.
While we were kidnapped, we were tortured, and I nearly died from the same curse that had fallen over Hogwarts. Akira had runes carved into her back. We couldn't fight back because the people who were keeping us hostage had snapped our wands. We were eventually rescued by my sister's boyfriend, Zephyr Bearach, who died, but didn't die. Instead, he's a vampire now. Kind of weird if you ask me, but whatever.
With a new wand, I returned to Hogwarts to repeat my fifth year. They let me keep my prefect status. Honestly, I kind of hated repeating the year. It was so pointless. Eventually, I realized that it wasn't that bad. It gave me an extra year with the paper, and with the Chimeras at Hogwarts. It also allowed me to be close to Akira, who kept having terrible dreams about what we had gone through.
◆ Post-Grad: Once I had finally graduated, I got a quest together to go search for a legendary ring that could take Akira's nightmares away from her. I just hope that it'll work for her.

Hi, my name is Akira Maclachlan
But I mostly go by Kira.
I'm a girl!
I'm 9 years old.
The school I will be going to is Hogwarts.
People say that, in a nutshell, I'm quieter than my sister. While she'd rather go out and experience things, I'm much more content inside reading about it. I have my mother's manners, as well as her charm. I'd really not do things that I don't want to do, and sometimes I throw tantrums. Those usually get me what I want.

My background story is a bit short, but it'll do. Like just about everyone else in my family, I was born in Iverness, which I'm told is where Shakespeare had part of Macbeth set in. I'd like to read it, but mum says I need to wait until I'm a bit older. My parents are Angus and Iona, and my siblings are Jamesina, Dewey and Dallas. I also live with my Aunt Tara. She doesn't have any magical abilities though.
I haven't exactly done anything worth talking about. I'm ignored a lot because I don't get into trouble, but I really don't mind. It means that I can be left in peace to do what I'd like to.
I enjoy reading, quiet, animals, drawing, and using my imaginatation.
I despise extremely loud noises, nightmares, horses, ignorance, and the dark.
