Pythagoras stood in the field looking for other azrein. He was on a mission, and had to find a few azrein to get close to. The six had asked him, since his appearance was fairly approachable to go into the land of the good azrein and their nasty humans and breach the herds and make some contacts so that he can begin spying.
No one knew of him as of yet, he had been kept quiet since his birth and he had been taught to act politely towards humans even though deep down they disgusted him. He had been trained since childhood to act as the 'good' azrein did. Now it was time for him to prove himself and he was confident.

________________ Nailiah had been grazing steadily in the meadow, her bright red mane and tail flowing behind her as the wind gently brushed against her pure white frame from time to time. Her silver eyes kept a watch on the land before looking over toward Alistair. The male had been adjusting quite well and she quite hoped that he enjoyed his time with her and Dark even though their home wasn't as lavish as his castle. As they grazed, she felt the presence of another in the fields. However, she didn't worry too terribly much. Alistair would warn her of impending danger, that she was sure of.Alistair watched the white and red female graze giving her smiles of encouragement when she glanced toward him. She was indeed worried about his welfare which touched him a little. Greigor had shown him the same kindness and concern, and to have this mare and her human do the same was quite comforting and welcomed. As his eyes gazed across the fields, he noticed a strange colorful figure that wasn't so far off. Alistair's head tilted as he gave a warning snort over to Nailiah. At this, the mare immediately lifted her head as the two watched the figure closely. Alistair had never seen him before and judging by the perplexed look on his partner's face, she didn't either. He kept his wings close to him wondering who this stranger would be.

Pythagoras' ears perked up as he heard the snort. He had been off in his own little world thinking about what had occured in the past. The stallion smiled at the sight of the beautiful mare, he winnied to signal his approach and he moved closer to the two. He bowed deeply and politely said "Hello, I am Pythagoras." his pink eyes scanning the two. "I am sorry I did not introduce myself sooner! I was lost in thought" he added with a kind smile.

Nailiah tilted her head on full alert now as she saw the stallion approaching. He seemed friendly enough. The mare gave a nod and a grin in her own greeting. "Hello, Pythagoras. I am Nailiah and this is Alistair." The male gave a nod and a grunt in greeting to the other as he kept his eyes on the male feeling partly protective of Nailiah and partly suspicious of his attitude. His wings flexed a little as he moved closer to the mare not in claiming but in protection. "What brings one such as yourself to these lands? Traveling no doubt?" Alistair gave a small smile in attempting to be cordial, his ears flicked forward in interest to hear what this other stallion had to say. Nailiah seemed interested as well keeping her eyes on him.

The young stallion smiled and did not react to the other stallion's protectiveness. He knew he was a new face and that he would have to win trust. "I am always travelling, however I saw this meadow and it was so beautiful and so full of delicious grass that I decided to stop for a while. Besides one needs time to recover after a long journey, right?" he asked and tilted his head slightly.
He bent his head down and took a bite of grass and chewing it before continuing "I hope I did not interrupt anything" he said in a kind voice.

"Of course not," The male shook his head giving the other an apologetic grin. "Resting is fundamental when it comes to traveling." He looked over to the mare who nodded just as eagerly. "It would have been dreadful if you pushed yourself too hard. Fates know what would have happened to you, Pythagoras." Nailiah gave a gentle snort relaxed enough to graze, her ears flicking for another signs of life. At the question, Alistair decided to answer letting his partner eat. "No, you are not. Nailiah and I were simply scouting outside of our home. She loves this meadow and I wanted to accompany her." Alistair gave a gentle snort flicking his tail behind him as he stretched his wings a little. "Where are you from then, traveler?"

"That is good" the stallion said after taking a break from eating "I would not want to intrude. And yes, if I do not rest I could get into trouble! One must be alert! Especially with all the tension in the air." he said referring to the King's and The Six's war. He smiled at the mare, she was quite beautiful and seemed kind enough. "Me? I am not quite sure where I am from. My mother was a wanderer just like I am, so we were always going from place to place. I don't even know my father" he answered expertly. He knew that wanderers were not uncommon and that it wouldn't raise suspicions. "This meadow is quite beautiful, and one of the most peaceful I've ever encountered" his voice was soft and smooth as she moved closer to the two. He needed to gauge their reactions to learn more about the.

Nailiah grazed silently striding a little but kept mostly out of the male's way. He was a strange looking one but he wasn't ugly. There was a look about him, especially in his eyes, that made him seem too good to be true. He was polite and fancied conversation and seemed all too happy at just about anything. Her ears flicked forward a little."Well there's always tension no matter it be war or territory squabbles." Her tail flicked a little as she stared over at the stallion. "The Six and the King's Azrein will always be at war so long as there are good and evil in the world. Alistair cut in a little watching them before he scanned the meadow again. His story touched Nailiah a little as she stared at him with gentle eyes. "This meadow is like that. It brings us a sense of peace. This is why Alistair and I frequent this place and try to keep it safe." She gave a warm smile while Alistair gazed at the male watching him closely. As he went closer to Nailiah, Alistair gave a gentle snort spreading his wings a little to readjust them against his frame. "So what will you do now after you've fed? Will you sleep or continue on you way?"

Rhia and Zander were spending some "quality" time together, so Free had a few days to herself. She still found it difficult to understand how Rhia could associate with someone like Zander, who was so obviously bad. She'd been wandering now for the better part of two days, and she was looking for somewhere she could relax for the rest of her free time. She could see sunlight shining through the trees up ahead, and hurried her pace. It would be good to be out of these trees, and into sunlight. The forest was dank and damp, and she wanted to feel the warmth of the sun on her back once again. As she came to the edge of the tree line, she was disappointed to see that the meadow was not empty. There were a number of Azrein already there. So much for a quiet, relaxing romp in the tall grass. Oh well! She resigned herself to a day of being cordial and exited the forest. She was rather small compared to other Azrein, and her coloring had a tendency to reflect sunlight, making it harder for other Azrein to see her right away. So it was only to be expected that she would cover half the distance between them before she was noticed. Not wanting to startle the strangers, she decided to speak first and wait to see what their reactions would be. "I hope I am not unwelcome here."

The stallion's eyes darted from the female and the male as they spoke. Of course she was right, there would always be tension, especially if the humans continued to exist. He turned his head towards Alistair and replied "I may stay a while here actually it's been quite a journey so far and I am rather tired. I find this meadow relaxing and comforting somehow. So I think I will stay here a while longer" His ears perked up at the sound of another exiting the forest, however he did not turn around until he heard the female's voice. "Not at all!" he called out to her with a slight bow "Join us if it pleases you" He moved over so that the slight circle they had made with their bodies was open for one more.

Well, as long as one of the three welcomed her, Free felt secure in approaching them. The male who had addressed her was unlike any she had seen before. His markings spoke pure chaos to her gentle sensibilities. As she drew nearer, his eyes caught her attention. There was something in them that was familiar, but she couldn't place what it was. He was clearly a strong male, and she wondered if he was the head of the three standing there. She came to a stop and introduced herself, "Greetings, I am Freezia, but you may address me as Free if you choose." She would not go into much more unless asked to, so she waited for their introductions.

Alistair had caught sight of the strange looking mare as she approached and even before she spoke. His eyes gave a brief squint a little, but he wasn't about to let her out of his sight. As Pythagoras greeted her, Alistair gave a bit of a bow in greeting as Nailiah straightened her body to bow as well. "Greetings, Freezia. I am Alistair and beside me is my partner, Nailiah. The mare gave a nod giving a smile to Alistair before looking back to the mare. "A pleasure to meet you. Please come and join us." Her ears flicked forward as she gave a kind smile, Alistair continuing to look around the meadow in an effort to patrol from his position. He wanted to fly, but he refused to leave Nailiah alone with all these strangers. He had grown protective over the mare during their time together. "Stay as long as you need to, Pythagoras. And you as well, Freezia. This meadow is a peaceful, neutral zone." She gave a nod of affirmation and another kind smile.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she said to all three of them. Now that she knew all of their names, including the male who had first greeted her, she felt more at ease. She bowed in return and said, "I am glad to hear that this meadow is a quiet one. I have been hoping to find such a place to rest and relax for a couple of days. My human and her mate are taking a few days to themselves, so I felt it a good opportunity to have some time to myself. Do any of you have a human companion?"
She wasn't really sure if it was appropriate to ask such a question, but it was asked, and she would live with the consequences if it wasn't. She was still young, and had not really had much contact with other Azrein.

The stallion was taken aback at Nailiah's bold statement. I can stay as long as I want hmmm? Well thank you oh great queen he thought to himself but quickly caught his temper. His parents and the others would be quite upset if he came back soon due to his temper. "Why thank you" he replied and bowed his head towards Nailiah and Alistair. Then he turned to Freezia, had she really asked that question? No matter, he could handle it. "I'm not sure about the others but I have traveled for many months and have not had any time to stop and make many friends, so I do not" then he turned expectantly to the other two, awaiting their answer.(lololol sorry Dark! I'm pregnant and working that's my excuse, fixed now though)

[[Hey Himu that was Nailiah speaking so in a sense it would be "Oh Great Queen". She's red and Alistair is sandy brown]]
Nailiah arched her eyebrow a little at Pyth's reaction to her invitation. She noticed a glint in his eye before it quickly changed as he bowed. She hoped she hadn't offended him some how. She then turned toward Freezia giving a gentle smile. "Ahh I see. I hope you find some peace here. Alistair and I share a bonded - an Amazon warrior named Athari. She treats us well and those who come by. She shows no discrimination or ill will toward anyone unless provoked." Nailiah spoke highly of her chosen and she felt the warmth from Alistair's mind that he respected and agreed with what the mare said. She turned toward Pythagoras then. "Traveling must be interesting but lonely for you to not have seen any azrein about. Why didn't you have time to stop and meet anyone new? Are you on a mission of some sort?" It was then that Alistair flicked his ears toward the conversation growing slightly interested.
